- I'm building the Ultimate LEGO® Tank! Whether it's a real suspension system, a rotating and tilting turret, or speed of launching projectiles, this tank has all of it! Not only that, but it has an action camera that gives you a first-person view of the action! This Ultimate LEGO® Tank is built entirely out of LEGO® pieces, besides the action cam and the BuWizz 3.0 controller, which allows this tank to run at peak effectiveness. The problem with the aluminum foil test is that that's exactly the same test Lego uses to determine whether launchers pose a danger to eyes. They actually had to nerf the 2007 squid launcher because it broke the foil. So by using vanilla zamor launchers you were doomed from the start.

You should make one, but with the laser bolt things. You could try and shoot like 500 at once.
Make an actual WALL of launchers, like 20-30 of them, and destroy a Lego city with it

British teens can you make the next build the world working crafting table and a furnace the real world's biggest one and you can go in there like 100 and big so it's real take 1,000 days to make it

lol I could totally see Bloons vibes from this :) Actually one of my tests was going to be to pop a balloon, but I didn't get to it yet haha
With the SPS [speed per second], it might be able to go through 2-3 bloons layers and 10-15 bloons PER projectile. edit: Probably would be able to do 0.50 as much damage to lead/metal foil bloons compared to a maybe a glue gunner

This is definitely a support tank that would be used for suppressive fire. Launches a couple dozen shots in the general direction of the enemy and while they're confused the actual attackers would come in and take down the scattered forces.
That's basically MLRS artillery lol, and this tank is similar to Russian TOS-1a too

Only one main suggestion for the tank.
The Center of mass is WAY to high up on the tank. It needs to be further down to ensure stability. Somewhere within the main hull. if you do plan on revisiting this tank, you should add some sort of counterweight near the base of the tracks, as well as expanding the tracks forwards and backwards. Maybe with 3 to 4 more Suspension units per track length.
Other than that. It's Very Impressive! Love it!

Very impressive build! Somehow seems like it would be even cooler/more satisfying if it had a single or double cannon that could fire longer in full auto than the 7 cannons.

Yeah, I'm honestly not surprised the foil didn't break. The stock Zamor launcher mechanism, even with motorized power, doesn't get a lot of punch behind it. Probably for the best, honestly. That being said, you could look into custom Zamor launcher mechanisms to get a bit more stopping power and range, possibly even enough to put holes in that foil; that may come at the cost of volume of fire, however.
Still more than enough firepower to commit minifigure-scale war cri-err, weapon tests, though!

I think the chassis needs to be a bit wider, it looks top heavy. And add bumpers for pushing stuff. And build a little "sighting system" in front of the camera

I built an RC lego fire breathing tank that uses 2x butane cans as the fuel which produces a 6 foot flame, and a tortion bar suspension for the tracks
Just brilliant! And I for one welcome our duck overlords. Next part to put under control of Raspberry Pi, build a second, and watch two autonomous Lego tanks ambush each other in a test environment 😃

So, in terms of actually BEING a tank this is more adjacent to a heavy tankette or an APC This is because of the fact that it has an insane rate of fire and higher speeds then a normal tank.

The lego version of sheer volume of fire
I always find it so sad to see a cool tank like this and it's driven by 2 motors. Can you put a track differential in it, it's pretty easy in the Lego technic book there's a example of it. It makes it way cooler.
A differential is totally possible, and would be really cool!

You may want to actually gear down the track motors, it seems a little unwieldy at its present speed and the power is important.
Yes, great point! It depends on what you need I guess. In this video, I wanted speed, but in most normal circumstances, higher power would be preferred.
