I bought this Amp 2 times... Once from Japan which destroyed in the shipping and once from Ebay UK. I drove 4 hours to bring it back home safely in person... Great timeless Amp... Still in my Ebay watchlist... You can never have enough of these gems..FA7ES is also another great integrated amp by Sony but I think this is better.. I am looking for those top notch Sansui amps too... very hard to find a mint one..
@@hifirulezzz your Sony has a total of 36k uf which is pretty low for a high end integrated. Accuphase E460 has a total of 66k uf and even that is kinda low.
@@RoverWaters Well, that's what I expected. The values are CALCULATED to keep OUTPUT CURRENT for the MAX power. There is no reason to have more. The more powerful the amp - the bigger power reserve is required.
@@hifirulezzz the so "calculation" you mention is done on cheap amps to minimize costs. top amps have only one goal: the more filtering capacity , the better it sounds.
