I wish there was a way to save builds. 90% of MC builds come off the proto fiend essences so it’s not that hard to get but there’s like 4-5 of them it most be annoying it essence fuse/ grab essence on repeat for whatever build you need
Yeah, it's especially annoying when you test a build that works for two fights, then do it again etc... this is why I only really shared my final builds, so people wouldn't have to go through my trial and error (and have proof of use through my VT battles.) Thankfully, it's not that bad to get another essence of a demon you need in Godborn: just make some space, summon a base-level form of that demon, then use as many Grimoires as needed to get the essence. If it's a demon you already use though, register it into your compendium, part with it, make a base-level fusion of it and grind the essence back. (Thankfully, no need for Lucifer, Satan and Demi-Fiend since you can fight the latter two over and over, and the first one is sold for 75000 Macca... although it's a pretty useless essence.)
Impaler's Revenge is a really nasty thing for Lucifer to have. It certainly makes him a dangerous superboss as he can blow you up regardless of your resistances if you get one unlucky turn. I guess its our penance for him being a joke in vanilla SMT 5.
I 100% agree, and I found a counter to this: a demon many people think of garbage for what he should be... Lucifer himself (rather the Devil version you can fuse, his SMT3 form) because Root of Evil destroys every Charge and barrier effect, including Pierce. Man can save one's bacon at least.
@@permafrostyx no need to apologize, that's true that it's niche. Like many people, I'd have loved to get an Innate Skill that's much more versatile and OP for Lucifer and Satan, but I guess it's to balance out other demons, Idk...
Yeah, that's the main use I have for it since I can't always use Heavenly ikuyumi. i might replace it with Chaotic Will though, since it rarely actually helps (or maybe replace one of my passives with it because my dodge passives don't activate nearly as much as I want them to.)
@@kaiserkreuz2110 im thinking of changing masakado to yabusame shot + critical zealot. Its alot weaker than incalcitrant, but it auto generates press turns with consistent dmg every turn.
@@breadandm5007 I lean towards Chaos as well, but I admit the more realistic take when looking at the dialogue would be Law's. I much prefer Mastema's fight anyway.
So if I'm understanding it correctly, Tiamat's whole gimmick is that she will always revive her heads when they die which then chunks her health ON TOP of whatever damage you dealt with your attacks. Does she have a resistance to Almighty?
Exactly. And if she's so low on health she can't resurrect one of her heads, she can't use her ultimate. No, she doesn't resist Almighty, which is why I use Recalcitrant Execution. She absorbs Ice in all 4 heads though. You can maximize single-target damage by attacking the head that had Physical weakness and the one that has elemental weaknesses.
@@ogre589 Since Pierce is no passive in this game, every endgame boss has at least one element they can't resist, or Almighty. I kinda prefer it this way because a Pierce passive like in Nocturne trivializes the game, and didn't make me want to go using Megidolaon again (could just pummel Rangda for EXP with normal attacks and be done with it.) Also, it's a waste of a space since you'd need it to deal substantial damage to bosses.
