    Great video! Cute little helper, she will learn a lot by being close to you when you work on the bikes. My son is now turning 3, and he is obsessed with bolts and wrenches.. and very fond of misplacing my 8mm and 10mm sockets for some reason.

      Awesome! Dude... the day he dropped the 3/8 extension down the muffler of the BMW... oh man, that was a chore. Good times though.

    You are da man ♥️♥️♥️ love it. These are the next tires I’m mounting to my 2019 GSA. Please keep your “little helpers” close to you & the bikes. There is nothing like growing up close to your dad.

      Thanks for watching. The kids LOVE “fixing” and riding the bikes. The GPS is a fantastic tire for the GS. When you are ready to pull the trigger, let me know!

    I used the very same method for my V-Strom, when I needed to change both tires and didn't fancy two trips to the Tire shop.

    Great video. If I'm seeing it correctly at the end of the video, you guys went with the off-road direction for the front tire and the 50/50 for the rear tire?
    Nice tires! Awesome bike!

    • @manybikes
      @manybikes  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes, 50/50 for the rear. The front is a single direction only. This is what Gabe said when I asked how he liked it on the hour ride home, “Really nice actually. I could tell the difference, felt like the tire was really grasping the road. I can say I felt safer. Even on windy conditions which I hate. 😂”

      @@manybikes oh ok, I missed the part that the front was single direction only.

      @@manybikes So how do the tires perform on the street in mostly dirt direction vs. 50/50?

    • @manybikes
      @manybikes  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@CapCityDC off road you really notice the difference. On-road … not so much, pretty similar.

    I started to get cracks at the bottom of the lugs at 7K miles. r1250gs running 37/42 air pressure. What pressures do you run? Loved the tires and had plenty of tread left but the cracks were a concern

    • @manybikes
      @manybikes  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I too have experienced cracks after many thousands of miles and have been told they are superficial… I run full pressure on the street. 30ish off road.

    • @manybikes
      @manybikes  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      They are RV Leveling Block and can be found at most stores that carry outdoor recreation goods. You can see them here: www.amazon.com/Camco-Leveling-Hydraulic-Frustration-Free-Packaging/dp/B072VSBLH7

      I use them all the time!!! Even oil changes on my low bikes that a drain pan doesn’t fit under... I ride the bike (front and rear tires) up onto 3 blocks in a pyramid format ... gets the bike 3 more inches off the ground. I put the kickstand on a stack of 4 and presto! Instant bike lift without the lift being in the way!

    Thanks for the video. Helpful, but it was clear you hadn't done this before. (didn't know you had to remove both side caliper bolts). But helpful anyway. Oh...the kid has to stay in the house. Safety first. And slow down, or lay off the coffee! HA!

      @@manybikes No. You didn't keep it safe. It's quite clear. Kids stay in the house whenever daddy is working on the bikes...especially when they are up on temporary stands and have the potential to tip. I'm sure you will in the future so you don't have shitheads like me making comments. Seems we all can learn from both sides! Good vid. I used your method on my 2008 R12GS. God Bless.

      @@manybikes Nope dont care about them riding as long as they have the proper PPE. Wouldnt even care if she was around you while working on the bike if it was on property safety mounts. Fact that the bike is on an incline riveway and has blocks supporting a 600lb bike. Yeah bro, thats an issue, but hey, you do you parent, you do you. Keep winning parenting of the year award m8.
