I'll be honest, I haven't done it on pastelmat. I've used alcohol on small spots but not on the whole surface. You may not even need alcohol on pastelmat. Sanded paper is so different.

This is gorgeous and even with the tape, before you pull it off, it was like the waves were coming off the canvas. Bravo and always played to the end!
