BIN LOOKING FOR THE VOLTAGE ABOUT THESE FOR HOURS

NOBOX7, If I am not mistaken, the voltage on the scanner runs 220 VAC. I will confirm that today and repost a comment. I am 99% confident in this though.

Okay NOBOX7, I hooked up a relay this morning with a UV amplifier installed. I looked at the voltage between the F&G terminals and to my surprise here is what I found. With no flame present there was 150 VAC / 205 VDC. With flame present (conductivity within the cell) there was 130 VAC / 80 VDC. I hope that this helps.

How should you clean the face of these UV detectors. Is there any proper way to do this or do you just wipe it with a rag?

How can I test the ultraviolet sensor if I think it’s bad in the field. I have a flame but weak voltage signal

Thanks for the question. The easiest way to test a mini peeper in the field is to hold it in your hand and present a flame in front of it. Just use a lighter. There is a grid inside the scanner tube that consists of four squares. All four should light up with your flame present. If less than four are lighting, the tube is degrading.

I wish that I could help on that one. I looked around but found the same thing that you are probably finding. Not much out there. I would change that sucker out.
