Absolutely loved these mate, there's nothing like the stories from someone who's been there, done that, bought the T shirt, and used it as an oily rag. Well done again on some brilliant questions and a great rapport as always, which brings the absolute best out of your guests.
Brilliant stuff with the legend that is Mick. Being of an age (63) I can remember seeing the man in action many times. Proper racer. Nice one again Dave and team.
Cracking job that Mick Grant is one of the people I have never heard the full story and now we have before you can beat the old ones as you would not get away with what they got up to 👏👏
Appreciate your kind words, Nick. I'm really enjoying help tell the stories of our racing legends - they're an incredible bunch and as you say, their stories are better too 😁
It’s our pleasure, Raymond - we’ve more to come as we get to Springtime and we’ll have Granty, Rog and Reg together for a full show when their diaries allow plus we still need Reg on his own!
I'm the same "vintage" as Mick and from the same-ish county.. Yorkshire.. So naturally I watched and cheered Mick on at the TT in the 70's and during the brilliant Grant-Sheene "tussles" at Olivers Mount etc.. Amazing times.. and you "had to be there" to appreciate them.. Well done Mick and co for saving Olivers Mount..
I remember watching the racing at Oliver’s Mount and the battles between Mick and Barry in the mid 70’s as a kid…these were great memories of my childhood and early teens…thanks for those great memories…also remember getting Mick’s autograph at Silloth many years ago 👍🏁
Top class interview Dave. Really enjoyed it. Mike is such an interesting person with so so many stories and experience that's up there with the greats.
Mick Grant what a legend. The podcasts were brilliant. I have great memories of club racing when Mick was in the same races one day l was pitched up next to him at Caldwell after the race which Mike won I came in after the race and Mick was having a laugh with Ivan Hackman who was on a brand new Sealey G50 Mick was on his old Velocet 500 and Mick was saying to him you need to trade the Sealey in for a Velocet. I was on a Norton with an AJS engine not very competitive but great fun.

Don't tell anyone, but we're working on that for the New Year 😉
Love going to Scarborough. Very grateful to Mick for saving it 👏 Took my son for the first time last year. He was 6 and absolutely loved it 🙌
Love hearing that! Agreed, Mick and Eddie did a grand job and Andy is carrying that forward 🙏🏼

What a wonderful story, Alan. Thank you so much for sharing that and thank you also for watching. So glad you enjoyed it 🙂
I've known Mick from his earliest days, always talked sense
Really cool little series mate 👍👏👏always want Reg 😂
the man is a great yorkshire legend saw him many times at scarborough top sportsman with a great sense of hummer
Getting the 3 together would be BRILLIANT.
It’ll happen John, probably early Feb but we’re all in agreement 🙏🏼
Mick is spot on about MotoGP, Honda or Yamaha pullout and it's game over
No question, Mark. It’s already the Ducati Cup with the occasional KTM cameo, losing another manufacturer would be disastrous for the show.
Jim whit is mega!
Coat hangers and crocodiles 😂😂😂😂😂😂
