There's no one I've seen migrate (the legal way) that ever regretted it. Absolutely no one. And I'll be part of them. And yes, research goes a long way.
Chioma i think your story and ours are the same, nothing in the pocket but determination and not giving up kept us going. Inshort no body believed us till our visa came out.
Found your channel a couple of weeks ago, I’ve watched almost every clip there lol. Just came across Chioma’s. I’m stuck with you guys, thanks a bunch for all you info you put out here🤗
I am always in awe when I hear migrants stories Chioma, and your story is so inspiring. I can hear the strength and determination in your voice- you're a powerhouse! xx
This is my situation right now,my salary goes into running the home while hubs own goes into getting things we would be needing for our immigration journey,it’s hard especially with the way Nigeria is right now,but we move!!!!!because like you said, the bigger picture is much more important…I’m really encouraged,God bless you Chioma🥰
Hey sis, just started following you recently, This video is just for me, thoughts of living Nigeria but no fund like u said, you spoke to me directly. I pray i get a good guide and moving someday
Lol the free data thing got me, cos that’s exactly what I’m doing now and how I came across your channel 😆. Hearing you mention other TH-camrs in Australia was quite interesting cos I’ve visited almost all their channels. I don’t sleep anymore. God bless you guys
To think I am already following all these TH-camrs you mentioned and even watched plenty videos from them all. Thank you guys for doing this and giving people free resources. You won't understand how happy I was on the day(just 2 weeks ago) I typed on the search bar here on YT "Studying social work in Australia" and I saw crazy lineup of you guys. Thank you so much again for doing this for us all. God bless you. Till we all win😘🥰🥰😍
Nice to meet you🥰 and am so glad nigerians are now on youtube to share their experiences with us. I have searched and searched am glad i found you guys.I know almost thing about uk and canada watching nigerian youtubers in those countries. my husband is in Australia on student visa. planning on joining him with our son soon . And hopefully to join the league of nigerian youtubers in Australia to share my own experience too and help others . 🥰🥰🥰
Sacrifice and Research is important as well as your other points. Once Australia was in the plan, I started to research everything possible especially Brisbane. Then, I would only see about 2 Nigerian youtubers share their experience. Glad to see there are more people sharing on here. I did the Google maps thing too 😂😂
Thank you for this Chioma. I'm desiring to leave....already started the process actually and yes!!! Lots of sacrifices cos leaving is priority. And by this time next year, I will share my testimony by God's grace. God bless you Chioma.
I'm glad I found your channel, was here this time last year combing everywhere for information, we got some but not as in-depth as this, we have plans to relocate and I saw GTI, luckily for us my husband falls into the category and ACS did him an endorsement but we are yet to hear from Immi as I learnt its now getting so slow... So right now, I'm looking at the school option so we all can move and then we await the GTI result I'll shoot you an email, thanks so much for this 💜💚💜💜
Hello from Pakistan…. I have just started following you.. u r doing an amazing job… literally every bit of wat u said made sense to me.. I am also thinking of relocating to Australia and my story especially the financial one is more or less same as urs, and today as I watched ur this video, I feel motivated and excited…thank you for being real and genuine … Love ❤
I just Started watching Australian Immigration videos. Thank you so much for this gemstones you are dropping. Please we are also considering moving the same way your family did. My husband wants to move as a student first. Please are there tips you can give on school choice and if there is anything he needs to indicate during his process to make it easy for us to join him. Thanks a lot. New Subscriber
Thanks for watching and subscribing. Just make sure whatever school you choose is CRICOS endorsed. I suppose you will make a choice that suits your budget and family needs (employment, school enrolment for kids perhaps? your long term goals around permanent residency and the skilled visa you are interested in etc). All the best to your relocation plans❤️
Hi Chioma. Thank you so much for all your invaluable content. Please I'd like to speak with you to get some information and direction regarding my situation. I am an experienced cake artist, decorator and pastry chef with over 8 years of kitchen experience. Now I know that there are a lot of opportunities for chefs in Australia but although it isn't a constraint I have seen in my research that getting formal education in the culinary sector (which I don't have)does help beef up my resume. Now my question is this, please how were you able to afford the fees for your program in Australia? My financial situation right now is Wonderful but I am determined to make the move. There are already a lot of job opportunities for cake decorators and bakers so I am hoping to get a job with sponsorship soon and then after or while working for a while I can enroll in a pastry arts program in a school near me. I look forward to hearing from you soon.
Thank you so much, Chioma for the insightful and informative videos. Are there social work recruitment agencies in Australia..if you can share in your next video
Hi Rufaro, There are social work recruitment agencies in Australia, but I have no experience engaging with any of them and so can't really speak with any authority on how they function. Was there anything in particular in relation to recruitment agencies you wanted to know about?
I have followed all of them .. I'm really glad to meet you ma'am. My fiancee is very pumped about this, we are starting our process NOW. I really wish to have your contact. If you don't mind, I'll love to ask for your opinion on some personal things regarding this travel
This is my situation now, I don't have any help both from Hubby nor my family. We just stuck we try to borrow money but they refused to give us. But keep discouraging us.
Hello, really valuable information here. We are considering Canada and Australia as well, but I really have a great phobia for reptiles which according to the media is something else in Australia, I'd like to confirm this rumor, like how likely are you to encounter snakes or spiders in your home or just generally.
I have seen a snake only once (during a bushwalk, by the way) in my almost 7 years of being here 😁. Paranoia is bread and butter for the media. Good luck with your plans, Grace.
Hi Blessed, There is no time element to when you qualify for PR. It is entirely based on you meeting the eligibility criteria. Some people come in to Australia already permanent residents, some others choose the study route.
Hi, thank you for the videos. I'm glad that I found your channel. would want to ask about SW? are there many jobs related to SW after graduation? thanks chioma! God bless you and your family.
Hello Nadine, thanks for watching. To answer your question, yes - social work is very diverse in its areas of practice and has strong promise for employment. I would encourage you to watch my Social work Q&A video for more frequently asked questions about social work education and practice.
Yes, im sorry I made a comment before scanning through your videos. I also emailed you. Haha. Anyways, thank you and will continue to watch your future videos. Love from the Philippines
When is the best time to apply as a dependent. Like how many month gap can one apply when your spouse got her own visa to study in Australia. I was told 3 month up
Hi Uzoamaka, if an agent is telling you 3 months up, I can't go against that as I deem it professional advice. In my case, our subsequent entrant visa application was lodged a day after my husband started his course. That was 7 years ago. so maybe things have changed.
Once you get through culture shock and accept our problems and ways you will be happy. Its the same for everyone, even white people in foriegn countries. Culture is hard.
I like this video because you spoke rightly. However you decide to migrate depends on you, doing it yourself or via a migration agent. Researching remains important and that's what many people do not wish to do. Breaking it down into little steps will help, so you see the resources you'll be committing into it. Thanks for sharing, good job.
