So many beautiful charts. Definitely keep you busy for a long time. Christmas time is an amazing and wonderful time of year. Pumpkin pie is yummy and a great treat during the fall season. Cats and dogs are always a part of my life. Happy stitching.
Glad I found you. Love all your kits. Winter Rose Manor is one I have. Haven't started it yet. Your winter rose manor looks great. Christmas pumpkin cats and dogs oh my. Shale is a very pretty fabric. Would love to stitch on it. Look forward to your next video.
Enjoyed your kit parade today. The Reflect de Soie kit is put together by the designer. She has a website with her reproductions and many she sells in silk kits. Robin
Thanks for sharing with us! We just snatched up our 4th dog when we moved back in October 2021 so I've been wanting to stitch that pattern. Cats and dogs.
Beautiful project kits for stitching! I enjoyed all that you showed and especially your unusual choice of fabrics. I may have to be a copy cat! The fabric shale would be great for stitching one of my Mirabilias.
I’m so glad to have found your channel! I also have been enabled by Olivia at Pumpkin Hollow Quilts. You will love stitching Olga’s stocking. Also, your Winter Rose Manor stitch is just beautiful. I also like all the fabrics you showed. It’s helpful for me as it’s near impossible to pick fabric based on the stock photos online. All the best! 💕 Shale
Hello fellow knitter! I used to watch all your knitting videos before and to my surprise, you became a stitcher just like me. I am only in my second year of stitching and there is a lot to learn especially when it comes to fabric, flosses, and specialty stitches. I have "Winter Rose Mannor" on the way to me and will be starting it as soon I get it. Thank you for the heads up I will not start with the border. Unpicking stitches is no fun although I did it many many times before. I am also working on Modern Folk Embroidery's mystery stitch-a-long 2022. Cats & Dogs is a beautiful pattern. Haven't stitched anything by Theresa Kogut yet.
Watched you for the first time today and subscribed to your channel. You seem to stitch the same things that I stitch. I have loved samplers for many years and have quite a collection of sampler charts. I wish I could stitch them all! I love Teresa Kogut’s samplers and am stitching her Newcastle Bouquet. Cats and Dogs, shale
I love all your kits. Some of them I have as well. The G Leger one I want to do but I need to finish a few projects I have going. I would love to stitch on the Shale. Sending gentle hugs for the surgery. mini hugs Jennifer
I swear when you held up that piece of Spilled Coffee linen and slowly lowered it when your eyes peeked over the top edge that you were going to say "Boo!" lol Sometimes I will use black regular sewing thread and put in a running stitch to make a ten stitch (twenty thread) grid on my fabric first. I put the center line in red. You need to check your chart for where the designer deemed the center line as it varies and can be mid stitch. It's very helpful in complicated pieces. I used it on Teresa Kogut's Halloween on 28 count linen with two threads, over one. I never have to count more than ten to skip around the fabric and do different motifs in different areas. I would never try stitching a border first but if I did I would have more confidence in ends meeting up with this method. I can pull them out at the end from the back. Sometimes I have to cut them on the underside and slide them out with a tweezers. If they aren't visible from the front one could leave them in.
Linen.... Scary... I have yet to attempt anything on linen. It seems really intimidating. I'm 40 now but when I was about 15 or so, my mother discovered that I had an interest in cross-stitch. She took me to her favorite store (which quickly became my favorite crocheting/knitting/cross-stitch store) and paid for me to have lessons on how to cross-stitch "correctly" (the back is neat and tidy, etc). It's something I've done for years and have always found it really relaxing. I'll admit I've gotten lazy with the "correct" way of cross-stitching, unless I'm making something for someone. I'm currently working on two pieces. One is a pattern for my godson who is expecting his first son with his girlfriend. The other one is a wedding gift for a friend. I picked up the pattern off of Etsy. Basically its the cross-stitch version of the night sky on the night they got married, in the center. On each side, is the night sky when they were born. It has a few lines from their wedding song with their names, the date of their wedding, etc. Of course, I decided to make it more difficult by using a black background and metallic threads for the stars. I think I'm like any crafter with big ideas and wants, then reality smacks me in the head when I actually sit down to do it. xD Anyway, I didn't even realize that there are cross-stitch YTers out there until I came across this channel! So, I'm going to subscribe, watch this video and then "TRY" to get back to my cross-stitch.... hopefully...
I just found you. I don't usually stitch for samplers but the Rosewood manor Winter house is just gorgeous! I am a new subscriber and I like to stitch Christmas, pumpkin, cats and dogs and that Shale fabric is just so pretty.

Just found you today and subbed! I know what you mean about the weather down here in Florida -- we get a few cold weeks a year and complain through all of it because this is NOT what we signed up for 😆.
