It was originally a ch game which turned into an anime as well. The actual hentai animation went by the name Variable Geo Neo with different characters and Yuka making a cameo appearance. I didn't know about the games til years later. I actually want to buy a copy or two to add to the collection of the series.

I agree, the only thing this game lacked was in graphics and storyline, everything else was rad.
Hope you plan on doing more runs of Advanced Variable Geo 2. Kaoru and Ayako are my favourites.

I recognize this art style. It's Takahiro Kimura. He was also the character designer for GaoGaiGar, Godannar, and Code Geass.
And Betterman, which was the TV series that took place in the same universe as GaoGaiGar.

連続技が面白かったり声優が豪華だったりストーリーが無駄に凝ってたりなかなか遊べるゲームでしたね、コイツはメンバーの中じゃ地味だけど話の本筋どころかオチまで持ってく超重要キャラなのが意外だった
This plays fast-paced, good combos, super moves, it plays like a modern-ish fighting game. Awesome.
