Just wanted to say that this vehicle lacks refinement. I threw it together in order to demonstrate the concept of "dual-mode", which is simply adding a second steering stick to the flyer in order to be able to drive it in two different ways. I kind of like the dual mode system. One for a slightly faster flight mode to get where you're going,; the second for more of a lazy forward motion while you rain down fire. I'll have to build this one and see what it does to certain monsters I hate.

No, because Link can't exceed a 45° angle without getting booted off of the stick, but you could orient it at that angle and get an interesting result.
@@hmuphilly9129 In the old TIE Fighter game, I took out a Star Destroyer with a single TIE Defender. Without the fighter escort, they're crap at targeting small ships.

Why not use a hoverbike armed with a couple of cannons aiming down and couple more cannons facing forward?

Probably a lot more energy efficient. It'd have to be reconfigured around the rail physics.
