The idea that a Yiga Footsoldier could be so devoted to the cause that he not only surpasses his own master, but the literal Dark Lord that they worship, meanwhile still praising the very Master he defeated is hilarious and kind of on brand for the "task failed successfully" grindset of the Clan

@@JustinBae I mean they are descended from a splinter faction of Sheikah who defected from Hyrule when the king of the time forbade their technology, so lorewise it makes sense for them to have Sheikah scientist tendencies.
I honestly love the yiga so much because they’re literally so goofy, yes they may be mass murderers, yes they may mirror actual real life terrorist groups, but they seem so goddamn harmless and their theme goes hard as hell

Yiga Link pulling the master sword actually makes a lot of sense considering Yiga Clan Members can steal the Master Sword in BOTW if you bait and lead one of the big guys to it

@@kingszeno nope it's not modded. It takes forever as you gotta lead him all the way there with remote bombs and bananas. It's not something that's worth it at all and takes forever to get to work, but it's in the base game and is just something funny that deletes the master sword from the game
@@kingszeno it's actually not a mod, just normally the yiga blademasters should never come that close to the master sword.
You can only get one there by luring them.
@@kingszenoNope it's actually real. I've done it too. It works because Yiga hideout guards are coded to steal any item no matter what. Master Sword is an item so the code makes them steal it.
Someone said something that made sense about why Kohga can recognize Link even though he's in Yiga armor:
Kohga has been in the Yiga clan for at least 120 years or something, and is very adored by his goons. And he's shown to take care of them in return, so it'd make sense that he knows every member of the Yiga clan, hence how he could recognize Link even in Yiga set.

And don’t forget the hand, the battery capsules and the purapad 😂

10/10 Master Kohga is one of the best characters in AOC, BOTW and TOTK.

Fun fact about the Eightfold Longblades, the Wind Projectile they shoot can carry some fused item effects, the most obvious being elemental attachments turning your wind blades into Fire/Ice/Lightning blades.
This actually ends up having a pretty powerful interaction with Muddle Buds. If you attach one to your Longblade, the Wind Projectiles will actually Confuse enemies. The best part? As long as you don't hit the enemy with with blade and only the projectile, it doesn't consume the Muddle Bud!
The Pristine Eightfold Longblade ends up becoming an extremely powerful tool in your arsenal if you abuse elemental and muddle fusions. Pair that up with it's unique Iai Slash charge attack that drastically extends the AoE of the Wind Projectile and you can do insane things like Burn/Freeze/Shock or even Muddle entire groups of enemies in a single slash!

Now the biggest problem is getting the actual pristine blade, it's not easy

I wound up exploring the Great Plateau before I went to Kakariko village. I fought the Yiga clan on the plateau and got the Yiga Mask which I was wearing when I arrived in Kakariko.
There was a bunch of bonus dialogue! “why would you wear such a thing, Link?”. Such a nice touch!
A not so nice touch is that if you talk to the guy who was an ex-yiga in the last game he will talk about how traumatic it was and will discuss how the yiga killed his wife. Yeah not exactly fun.

I discovered the suit first
Talk to Paya with the Yiga suit and she'll request for you to remove the suit. So you remove all your clothes and talk to her again and she'll be all shy at you naked. Pure harassment!
best thing about the yiga armour is that you can make all the sheikah npcs just go from "hi, o great hero and knight to princess zelda" to "ew get the frickety FRRRRRRIIIIICK away from me"
For pristine weapons, break the weapons then find the ghosts in the depths, they’ll have the pristine versions of the weapons you break. Use the earthquake move to save durability on weapons! (Unequip your weapons to nothing and charge attack). As for the final kohga fight, use fire then hit him 2 times and he flies into the wall for big damage
Yeah I learned about the pristine weapons showing up in the depths a bit too late, but honestly I'd have just duped anyways since it's quicker and more consistent.

I had a thought. So in BOTW, when you beat khoga he falls in to the depths and that became a gimmick of the new game. In TOTK when you beat Khoga he is sent in to the sky/possibly space. So if the next game has some sort of link in space gameplay I’m calling it now. Lol
I 100% agree. We've already seen him on the surface and the depths and he's also been sent into the sky so it's makes sense that we'll fight him there

If you ever get the chance, fuse elemental items to longblades it adds the effect to the wind projectile.

Im pretty sure when you equip the master sword the yiga think you’ve killed link when you talk to the one that gives you the challenges

Honestly, all of the quests in this game r just link doing everyone's job for them. I was so done when the 2nd in command of Hudson Construction needed help putting one plank of wood on top of the mini stable at Lookout Landing.

I like how you're able to wear the thunder helm in the yiga hideout
Technically you can wear the lightning helmet, because it's a Yiga replica.
Making it technically a yiga armor piece.
Also I feel like you should be allowed to fuse, aslong as the base is a yiga weapon.
I think that fusing a blue lizal or silver lynel horn would be fine, since it is still a katana, just a new blade

Not even done watching the video but it's already top tier. These challenge runs usually get boring for me after the first few minutes, but your humor keeps it very entertaining. I expected to see you have like 100k subs at least!

If you wanted a single handed weapon, you could’ve found one of the soldier spirits in the depths. They spawn pristine weapons after the decayed weapon has broken at least once.

Kohga's secret plan was actually to kill Ganondorf all along, he didn't really want to destroy the world he was just doing it for the Vine.
I prefer there way of payback after the Calamity Betrayed the Yiga Clan in Age Of Calamity.
I just realized that the guy waiting in front of the Yuga Clan hideout was the guy waiting for true love on the Heartbreak Pond in BotW.

If you go to gerudo valley, there is a test behind a waterfall to become a yiga blademaster and doing it gets you a pristine eightfold longblade, which does I think 16-20 base damage maybe more

I love how he said demon king Gannomdorf a longer HP bar but when he got to the demon dragon, he said that he had so much else although he had a shorter HP bar

There would have been the shrine near where you fought master kohga in botw, and imo you should have been allowed to use blue lizal horns and silver lynel blade horns on weapons, as they fit the eightfold weapons well

Did you know that if you attach elemental lizalfos horns to an eightfold longblade, it will do the windcleaving attack but with the element you attached.

Here's how attacking Seized Construct works: you hit him once to make him stumble, then the second attacks make him reel back. It wasn't your wind that was making him fly backwards.
Yeah I get that the wind wasn't actually "blowing him away", I just thought it was funny that the wind attack was staggering him and pushing him.
