- This knife designed harkens back to the days of a young America when a man on the frontier needed a long knife for daily life. The knife would be used in every capacity from work putting food on the table to fighting a Shawnee or Iroquois warrior. Get a look at this fantastic blade designed by @NatureReliance here in this video.

The Shemanese is such a beautiful knife for working in the woods!
It really is. If you're looking to buy there's a few for sale at Rivers Edge Cutlery

I like the looks of that knife and I am a big fan of frontier fiction and history so I am interested in the book as well. Another great knife from LT Wright. Greatb stuff Isaac. Take care and have fun with your kids.
Thanks! Glad you enjoy frontier history. This book is awesome. You may enjoy this video I made earlier this week too

I have found the Hogue EX FO1 7" knife to be a modern day copy of this knife!
I'll have to look that up
Hi there Isaac, great vid, thank you for showing this really beautiful knife ! Besides, AEB-L steel is a very, very good steel when it comes to both toughness and corrosion resistance, which is very important to my mind. Awesome !
Really appreciate you watching!
Welcome to the cut finger club 😂😜
But I don't need no stitches
I am not a big bushcrafter but I have been playing around with what I would call an "Ideal bushcrafting knife." This knife seems to tick most the boxes (One of my boxes is a kydex sheath with multiple ways to carry the knife).
Awesome! Please check out Nature Reliance School for all your survival and Bushcraft skills needs. The director of the school is who designed this knife. It's currently available for pre-order for the next run with LT Wright. There's even a new 2.0 version with a different grind and steel. Here's the link

Watched in playlist 🗡👍
Thank you. I really like this knife
Ooooh. That one would make an excellent trick cutting knife. The geometry, relitive thiness, and length would be very nice for water bottles and pool noodles. (Hint Hint!) Plus has all the bells and whistles on the sheath despite not being made to fit. I wouldn't mind seeing you do a wetform video. In fact, I would prefer to go you're way if i get my hands on one. Everyone is different and have their own unique perspective and experience on any given subject. Since ive already left an excessively long comment, i may as well add that I really dig how you add literary sources in some of your videos.
Hahaha. Just keeps coming. She bit ya! Lol. Happens to the best of us. Superglue or Newskin and you're good to go. Great video dude
Man I should have consulted you before filming and took some water bottles and noodles out haha
I should try the wetform and film it one of these days.
The Frontiersmen is an awesome book about the settling of Kentucky and Ohio during the time of the American Revolution and beyond
And yep I cut myself lol
Difference between a ferro rod & "mischmetal" rod.. Mischmetal rod has a greater % of magnesium than ferrocerium ( rod much softer ) in comparison to a ferro rod which has more ferrocerium. The ferro rod will last longer than mischmetal rod but mischmetal rod throws globs of sparks. Ferro rod conducive arid climate, mischmetal condusive to cold, wet ( snow, rain ) climate... best luk, god bless
Awesome knife bro! Have you seen my new shooting video?🔪 🗡
Thanks. Not yet
