- A quick tutorial for lavender scented cards. Something a bit different from a plain greetings card. Apologies for the amateur video but this was my second attempt - 1st video was too long to upload!

Lisa this is a lovely wee project, sure to delight any recipient💜 Love the stamps and colours of card you've used and of course the fragranced dimensional element is a lovely surprise inside, just beautiful! While you were doing the footerie bit, I coughed and hesitated for a moment before I realised I hadn't blown all your lavender buds everywhere 😂 guaranteed if I tried this project I'd get a fit of coughing or sneezing😳 Thank you so much for sharing such an inspirational wee project xxx
Thanks for your lovely comment. If you had blown it away I wouldn’t have been too happy lol 😂 keep your sneezes to yourself 😂😂😂. The stamp set is gorgeous. I’m so glad I found it at the craft sale! It’s the first item out of the hundred I bought that I’ve actually used. Oh wait, I may have used the thistle stamp last week. Ok - the second out of a hundred I’ve used 😱
At least you’re using them Lisa, I’d have them squirrelled away and only take them out on special occasions, to lovingly caress them and admire their beauty😂 that’s why I never get anything done, I’m too busy admiring the tools to creativity🙄 could you imagine me at a craft sale, I’d be drooling over people’s stalls and trying to remortgage my house without my husbands knowledge😆😆😆 xxx
Caroline Mckeeman I think we’re all a bit like that. I’ve got stamps and does that have never been out of the cellophane! Would I part with them at a craft sale? No way! Never get rid of anything! Just keep buying. That’s my motto!

My great aunt lived in Kent for many years but I only managed to visit twice when I was a little girl. Beautiful area from what I remember (P.S. I just want to craft rather than have to learn how to take a video and upload/edit etc. I was born here by the sea and have never lived anywhere else. I can send photos of my previous makes if you send me your email address, Maybe give you some ideas. Pauline.
Nannie Mackinney hi Pauline, thank you very much for your kind offer but I don’t post my email address in comments as everyone would be able to see it. You should do videos though. I don’t edit as I don’t know how to. I just point and shoot on my iPhone and upload through the you tube app on my phone. I bought a bendy arm thing from Primark to attach my phone and it was only about £4. It must be easy to do videos if I can do it because I am rubbish at techno stuff! 😂
Lovely video, Dear Lisa! My favorite parts are your extra comments in your most serious tutorial tone: "and then I end up with glue all over my fingers" :) :) I am sure your friends and coworkers are going to love these! When I was younger, for some reason I disliked the smell of lavender, it was making me nauseated. But I don't mind it so much anymore. What would be some other smell to use in similar project?
Sr. Simon Grosicka I need to make sure I don’t send you lavender then 😂😂😂. You could put anything in it. Dried rose 🌹. But the toy stuffing is a good idea as you can add essential oils to it. I also saw a scented pouch video that had rice and scent. I don’t fancy the rice idea though
