I want to use it in my laptop. So I have to use upstream port and plug the USB one on my laptop?
And another question my old pc has VGA port so if I get a vga to HDMI converter so have to use the upstream port?
USB upstream port connection is only required if you want to use the USB ports of the monitor. I have told this in detail in the USB upstream ports section & USB ports section of the video.
You can use time stamps to go to that section.

I have bought the G24F 2 but there are 2 dead pixels, i am returned it, should i go for g24F2 or LG ultragear 24GN65R.

I bought this today i wanted to ask a few things
1. The refresh rate can be fixed upto 180hz even if I don't overclock it in the gigabyte menu. So is it actually overclocking?
2. I have kept my hz at 165 but when i was playing valorant it was being recognised as 180hz is it an issue.
3. Should i actually use that 180hz?
4. And the hdr gives a slight dull colour for games, when should I use the hdr?
1.Yes if you don't turn on overclocking from the menu then also the refresh rate can be set to 180hz and why is it so that Gigabyte support can only tell.
2. That's not an issue.
3. Yes you can use 180Hz. I asked this to Gigabyte support also and I have also shown their reply in video also.
4. That's what High Dynamic Range looks like.

All the above monitors are having 100% sRGB so colour wise almost same colour can be achieved in all three through tuning some colour settings.
So you just have to see which monitor you like just buy that.

This monitor does not have speakers
guys i did some more research and the AOC 24G2SPU (for me they’re the same price) is a better monitor than this for these reasons:
-Less grainy
-Slightly better colours
-6ms response time compared to 12ms of this monitor
-4 USB 3.2 Gen 1 instead of 2
-Swivel support
-Pivot support
-Height adjustment (both are)
-I think the monitor comes with 1 HDMI 2.0 cable and one DP 1.4 (the Gigabyte Monitor came with the HDMI 2.0 cable and the data cable)
-Speakers
-Less overshoot
-Anti-glare coating
-Has a sleep timer
(I bought the Gigabyte monitor & found out about this 2 days later 😢)
Note: you won’t notice a difference between 165Hz and 180Hz
