Wanted to show the size, weight, price, and benefits difference between lithium and lead acid batteries.
Lithium is 75% less in weight
Therefore better distance
Faster charging, 4 to 6 compared to 6 to 10
Easier to remove
Lithium has only 1 con: price. Initially and replacing. Different brands also have different pricing between the 2 battery choices. Often, and we are seeing more from Emmo, is that there are different AH (amp hour) choices. The ah in simple terms, is the gas tank or distance the e-bike can travel. Bigger the AH, the longer distance per charge.
Lithium is definitely the better choice, but not always necessary depending on how and where the owner wants to use it. Maybe it's just for around the town, for occasional use, and within 20 to 30km. In that case, I would suggest that lithium is worth the money.
