WAY AWAY He did a video a few years ago about travel hacks and priority pass was one of the items that he talked about. I don’t get Priority Pass through a credit card, I just went out and bought one. Nate also had a course, it was via PDF and it talked about priority pass.
Ah haaaa! Yeah if you don't have a credit card, a normal pass to the lounge adds up to about as much as a meal at the airport most times. :p
WAY AWAY Yes it does. That’s why I purchased Priority Pass. It pays for itself with a few long travel days and multiple airports!

How do you guys do with your phone when travelling? Do you pay roaming or change to local service, how do you guys do?
We use Gigsky when it's in the budget, but in Thailand it's easy to get an inexpensive data plan so we just did that.
I'm living in Macao so I've been to Thailand quite a bit. It's such a mixed feeling place for me. The poverty and pollution are very in your face and apparent but the people are so friendly and I love the food. I think the papaya salad is tied for my favourite with red curry. I hope you get up to the mountains in Chiang Mai and Chiang Rai and take the time to cross into Laos and Myanmar. Those countries today feel like Thailand was 10 years ago.
BUT then of course you can't skip on seeing Angkor Wat. Yes it's overly touristy now and it's a challenge to not get ripped off but the place really delivers a jaw dropping experience. I've been all over SE Asia in the last 3 years and I love love love this area of the World.

We haven't made any videos specifically about that. But in general, just don't entertain anyone trying to sell you anything on the street or get you to donate anything. Other than that, those areas are TOTALLY safe! 👌

Just have the card. Once you apply and get it, the Priority Pass membership is separate from the Credit Card.

Yes it was long and tiring, BUT the lounges made it SO much better. I wouldn't say Thailand is much like India except they have similar style street vendors... then again that is all over here in Asia.

Have you noticed a difference between your old priority pass vs the priority pass via Chase?
It seems that there is a difference.
Previously PP simply gave us a few lounge accesses to share in the video. Now we have access all by ourself. So it's actually much better! We can use it as much as we want however we want!
It's actually interesting to see the difference on views after you guys left Brazil... I guess we are truly big audience in TH-cam!
Yeah it's actually such a badd thing! Because YT then punishes our videos even further now that Brazil isn't watching. So we're doing even worse than before! It's ok, we'll probably just never film Brazil again... and India, and Turkey, and Philippines. :p

Yeah... Sydney is good that way. I remember 30yrs back, they had the same thing then, except it was just $15pp. My friend and I were running late... and she just ordered $15 worth of Prawns lol! I just bought some choc and fruit and ran onboard, only to have my fruit confiscated at customs. That's ok... I just wanted to get through, the fruit was free anyhow.
Nice intro again, also the funky music along with it. Are guests on your Priority Pass really free of charge ? I also have the PP Prestige (came with my AmEx Credit Card), but guests are not free with mine ( fee will be automatically charged on the credit card). Last week in London i thought about bringing my nephew into the lounge, but then decided against it and ended up spending 35£ in a cafe, guest fee in the lounge would have been far less. Next time...
Thanks Andi! Yeah I think they are different memberships. 100% We each have our own Credit Card, our own PP membership, and can each bring 2 guests in free. And for meals, we each get one guest free. After that you pay. But it's not apples to apples and the CC market in the US is pretty high, I think EU has regulations that prevent that.

What was your overall impression of Qantas as an airline?
It didn't stand out as particularly good or bad either way. In economy it was perfectly adequate. :)
I flew to san fran for a job interview and they let me have $75/day for food and drink. On my way home I spent like $50 on pasta and margaritas. That priority pass life! I'd usually get a sandwich and a drink from the fountain :D

You should've explained about what 'onward flight ticket' is, and it's requirement, before explaining how to obtain one. It was baffling as I couldn't figure out what you're talking about. I had to google it to know about it's necessity.
Followed you since Ireland (work/stay) early days. Great quality videos. Subscribed to wayawaymag instagram, but disappointed as it seems to be timed with (old) videos vs others that are current activities and so make us hungry for your full YT videos ? Something to consider.
Also looking for a better Credit Card and the marketplace now is savage ! I don't see Priority pass card mentioned on the Chase Sapphire reserve application >?

OMG I really want that credit card! We only fly 1 to 2 times a year so it probably wouldn't be worth it for us. I did look into it and decided once the kids are out of college and we can travel more we are going to get it!
Hehe, it's totally awesome! TBH, if you spend at least $300 a year on travel specific expenses it's %1000 worth it because they refund you $300 each year.
