Suzuki Gladius SFV650, IXIL Exhaust and Scorpion Exhaust

This is my Suzuki sfv650 that I put a GPR De-cat exhaust on. Before I put this on I had the OEM exhaust with the IXIL Can on which sounds good but when I put the De-Cat pipe on it sounds really good but a bit to load. So I put the Scorpion Can on which sound just as good but a bit quieter. I also tried the OEM Can which you can see first.

Awesome video, it's always cool to hear the bike with different cans on it. I have a few videos up with the M4 pipe on mine.

I think the IXIL sounds best because it sounds dirty, Scorpion looks like a bazooka way too big for my liking.

Literally did the exact same thing. IXIL and cat to start with - sounds epic. Remove the cat and the IXIL becomes too loud and raspy. Only difference is I went for the carbon design Scopion can :)

Agreed it was more, but thought it looked nice and compared to an Akra it seemed cheap!

Yes the Akra are expensive, but I was on a tight budget but I no longer have this bike, I traded it in for a KTM 990 smt which had the Akra's already on.

Do you recommend the scorpion then? I don’t know which exhaust to go for with my gladius

Fez Ahmad Yes I think the scorpion is better with or without the decat pipe.

with the decat process, was there any wielding involved regarding removal or adding it? which pipe did you buy? i'm looking into the gpr pipe... by the way great video glad you put it online.

No welding involved, you just have to loosen the front pipe so that you can have play in the pipe so it fits. I no longer have the Gladius but I took off the exhaust system which is now on Ebay.
