- In this video I am on a protected island in Denmark to do wildlife photography. The goal is to document the badgers and their behaviour for a book and an hopefully for an upcoming science project.
Since early March I have been working hard and systematically with trail cameras and tracking to find and photograph foxes and badgers in the scandinavian nature. Now finally the hard work and all the effort pays off.
Together with my friend and colleague, scientist Sussie Pagh I have got permission to a protected island in Denmark and here we finally found an active badger den.
Now the work can start and the goal is to gather photos for a book and to hopefully start up a science project, documenting the behaviour of badgers living in an undisturbed environment .
On this first trip to the island we are spending two days observing and photographing these amazing animals and we believe there are more than 10 badgers from 3 generations living together in this small community of connected dens.
I hope we will get many more opportunities to photograph these badgers and I am looking forward to sharing these small adventures.

So i`ve been struggling with my life lately, i don`t know why I just feel lonely all the time and I feel like I´m not going to achieve anything in life because of the situation I´m in right now. I really hope this beautiful video and your positive attitude can help me overcome all this... Love the badgers, thank you for this video Morten!

I hope you soon find the way through your loneliness. I bet these times have many people struggling with that.
I've heard and experienced that helping others helps us as well. Is there someone else you know off that is also feeling lonely? Maybe you can visit via technology and help each other.
I find my worries and bad feelings disappear after about 45 minutes of hard walking in nature. The sounds, the fresh air and exercise really help. And sometimes nature gives you a gift you will never forget.
