I love Chadwick Boseman. He was such an INCREDIBLE human being, not just a great actor. Based on the way he carried himself, I think he would understand the realities of the situation. He was so humble, so gracious a man. I just again watched Wakanda Forever and cried upon seeing the opening Marvel titles and felt the loss all over again.
@@IgivegdparentI agree I agree, I don’t like the idea of Bucky being white wolf, but that’s not retconning, he was never their brother But he already has the name, so it’s technically already done

I am glad they decided to wait for this to happen and I do understand why they didn't do this in Wakanada Forever. They did good honoring the actor that previously played the role. Now sometime has pass and it can fully be considered to recast the role in a respectful manner.
Would’ve been better to honor Chadwick by following his death wish of recasting him if he couldn’t play the role someday, later we find out he knew he was dying
What if.. They casted Denzel in the New Black Panther movie, because the already casted his son John David as the new T’Challa? Perfect Father and son duo for a blockbuster movie with a Legendary black actor
No, they were going to recast T'Challa regardless because it's literally the Multiverse. That's the obvious part, they were going to do it Regardless of what the fans were demanding. I called this back in 2020 when Chadwick Boseman passed away.
At first, I really wasn’t looking for a recasting of T’Challa but now with the Multiverse stuff that’s going on and is about to happen in Secret Wars, I can kind of see that happening to explore a whole new different T’Challa without like fully replacing Chadwick Boseman and I feel like they have to be very careful with this one because there’s so much that Marvel has to respect the previous actor, and try not to erase him from the franchise. Hopefully they’ll be able to pull it off in Secret Wars.
hell yeah I like the sound of that it's about time marvel decided to recast king t'challa aka emperor of the intergalactic empire aka black panther wakanda forever 😎😎
I think the time is right. I’m glad they didn’t recast him immediately out of respect to Chadwick. He was a phenomenal actor and an amazing man, and the decision to not recast felt very respectful. Rest In Peace Chadwick. Wakanda Forever.
Woah woah woah, did you not know his dying wish was to be recasted???? Like that’s not respect, that’s f u to a dead mass last wish I’m sure hope you didn’t know about that, because not recasting was a slap in his face, he said the character was too important to not recast
great news if true. t’challa’s character is too epic to end like that, and i think that chadwick would love another actor getting time to shine in the mcu, and rising to fame like he did.
They need to recast many of their other major characters so they can use them again AFTER Doomsday and Secret Wars. Keeping Tony, Steve, Natasha, Clint, and on and on and on on the sidelines because they don't want to recast those characters just isn't going to work. DC has made a lot of mistakes, but they ultimately know that their main 3 (Superman, Batman, and Wonder Woman) are valuable enough to keep bringing those characters back and not creating alternate versions of those characters. Marvel needs to do the same. It's already been over a decade since Iron Man 3.
I wish there wasn’t so much pressure on the entry of a new cast member, honestly it’s no big deal after everything we have seen they can do no wrong 😅 even if it’s terrible writting the characters main flesh points have been made and pivotal engagement to the story as a whole is much more important for the fandom, the state of mcu, and the continuity of the newly created and stitched verse.
I’d say let T’Challa II grow and develop in the main MCU, while the Multiverse Saga can bring in a possible variant of T’Challa/Black Panther. They could test this, but please respect the memory of the late Chadwick Boseman.
They should cast Jordan Calloway who played Pain Killer in Black Lightning! He is a young, fresh face perfect for the roile who will not shy away from a years long MCU commitment as he is early in his career.
Maybe variant of T'Challa has a step brother instead of a sister so his brother was Bucky/White Wolf and his brother died. So when variant of T'Challa see Bucky from Earth-616 he thinks that it's his brother, but it's not. Having Shuri and variant of T'Challa have both lost a sibling they started becoming friends like they did with Peter Parker in Spiderman No Way Home with the other two Spiderman. And maybe Bucky ask Shuri to make him a White Wolf suit and Bucky decide to go by White Wolf
Aldis Hodge , the man who played Hawk man in Black Adam, or maybe Yahya Abdul Mateen 2 , the man who played Black Manta in Aquaman would be good picks for T'Challa recasting!
I’m tired of this trend in Hollywood now where you can’t cast a light skinned black guy. I have a friend in the business where he was literally told that he was a great actor but they did not want to be accused of colorism. There are sooo many more dark or brown skinned black actors in Hollywood than light skinned. It’s not fair to the light skinned black actors, it’s like it’s illegal for them to be in a movie like Black Panther. I’m telling you, if you’re a light skinned black male actor it’s harder to get work. It’s literally like an ism now where you’ll be accused of colorism when 85% of the black actors in Hollywood are black to dark brown.
It is just a matter of finding the right person who is ready to honor Boseman while putting forth a performance the former Black Panther actor would be proud of.
This is my theory 🙏🏾😶 the new black panther is gonna be Casper Cole, who is a cop in NY. Denzel Washington is his father, and a retired Wakandan war dog. His suit might be a retro version of the white wolf suits from the comics. Therefore making him a version of the black panther. But that's just a theory...🤔
Thank you marvel. Black panther should've been re cast already. Absolutely no disrespect to Chadwick. None. However, Panther is a important character. Everybody would've moved on with that. How many MCU characters have been recast by now? I'm pretty sure Chadwick would've wanted the role to move on. Much love to him. Rip
What they could do is this. First do not put a straight black male actors and cast him to be gay or anything feminine since this is what Hollywood usually does. Then use the same universe where wolverine was when he was crucified (the failed universe) where the heros failed. Black panther would be in this one and somehow the panther god would transport him to the 616 universe. This BP would be more different and badass, he would have his teleportion tech along with a vibranium suit that has artic vibranium with it as his basic suit and his secondary suit would be an iron man like suit with anti metal/healing weapons and tech. I want this BP to have the cape similar to the comics and his magic panther powers. I want his magic to be subtle like him being anti magic, anti illusion and anti mind control and anti cosmic. In comics he beat up Memphisto and silver surfer while struggling against cap and Namor so let's say he is anti magic/cosmic. When he arrives at 616 wakanda his mission is to save his land and his world from the threat from the world he failed, where instead of replacing shuri they both will be The Black Panther. The actor who should pay should be either the one who played Hawkman or the one who is playing wonderman.
Literally what's the point of Wakanda Forever? I'd be lying if I said I didn't expect Marvel to do this, but I thought it would've been after the presumed Secret Wars reboot where the majority of the actors get recast. At least have the courage to stand by Letitia Wright for her iteration of Shuri's Black Panther going into the big Secret Wars finale. If Black Panther III does happen as a Battle World film presumably after MCU Spider-Man 4, that would put its release date at around late 2026 or early 2027.
