Excellent content, Brett. Today's video is an entire course in-and-of itself. The subject of start-up capital raise, from A-to-Z, or better, from $0.00 to $##,###,###.## excellently summarized and framed. Thank you for all that you're doing for the serial innovator / change agent start-up community.

Thanks for the amazing video Brett! Can you do a video on how to manage spending (how much to spend for engineers, marketing, sales etc) once you raise money ?

Brett, something feels off in your comments. Most high-tech companies DO NOT HAVE revenues for a product that is to be built...in the future. Fusion energy start ups cannot have revenues until they build the product. New nanotech companies cannot have revenues until they build the product. From space-tech to biomedical etc.. it takes UP FRONT CASH AND RISK to get to revenues. It cannot be that there has to be revenues to get funding. All that can exist is the POTENTIAL for revenues. Literally there is something that ANTI CAUSAL (i.e. the effect happens before the cause) in what you are saying, at least for any serious high-tech company. I have a open mind here so....what am I missing ??????

Thanks for your comments, Leo. I talk about my own experience raising funding without a working product in the video. Just like your example, we needed funding in order to develop our first product. I have also worked with others that have raised money based on an idea. The only way you can do this is if you have a track record of success and an experienced team. You will find it next to impossible to raise money if you don't have a track record of success. That's just reality.

With AI you could be running a multi-million dollar company with just 1 person - so why bother with funding - to much hassle from start to finish.

LOL. If only this was true...

@@BrettFoxstartupceo There are a few companies already in that league - and looking forward its likely to grow.
But point taken, funding is normally critical to the growth and success of most businesses.
