for the algorithm. 1. always be wary of your position when negociating 2. term sheets require a professional's support 3. term sheets are a skill set to master as a startup founder 4. there is work to be done with investors more than you might expect as a ceo. preparing for this stuff is as important as investing your time in your start up.
Thank you for sharing your knowledge! Thanks to you, we have changed a lot in our presentations and thinking. I have a question: We are looking for an investor in the automotive industry - we are creating a new brand of electric enduro motorcycles called HEROS, unfortunately in our country (Poland) there are no such mature and large business angels or VC funds. Where is the best place to look for investors outside the country? Events like Wolves summit? I would be grateful for your advice. Regards! Kuba
Great question. Expiration dates on term sheets are short by design. Investors don't want to give you time to shop for a better deal. So, I've seen expiration dates of 24 hours or 72 hours. It is what it is.

I would look in Europe if I couldn't find any investors in Poland. You can use a tool like crunchbase.com to find them.
