Hitgirl definitely was the best part.
Jim Carrey definitely was one of the few redeeming elements of this sequel.
I wouldn't say that. That's a bit harsh. Everything involving Justice Forever and the villains was great. Hitgirl was where the movie was weak. We don't need to know about her puberty or getting all emotional over stereotype bullies being mean to her. And even then, during the times she actually was Hitgirl she was great. It's all that middle garbage we could have done without.

I honestly thought the whole Justice Forever thing was a low point of the movie. Jim Carrey was great but I could've done without the rest. I was muihc more interested in Hit Girl's story rather than Dave's
The fact that Carrey in his acting career has portrayed two live-action antiheroes (The Mask, Colonel Stars & Stripes) and two live-action villains (The Riddler, Dr. Robotnik).

i know jim hated this role but he was one of the few good things about this movie.
I didn't even recognize jim carrey when i first saw him in this role and ive saw everyone of his movies he is just a varied actor and one of the best i know he didn't like this role because he doesn't like overly violent movies.. But i wish this series of movies went on even in a new way.

You don't need V-Compound to be a hero. Just lots of street fighting skills and a lots of passion to bash crime in the face.

He has also said that it was his most hated role he did. He didn't enjoy playing a character that was so violent and aggressive as it was so opposite to himself and he actually regrets doing the role.

Jim Carey using his (almost) normal voice is quite jarring.
Carrey as a badass was amazing
I always found a little weird that them were already able to fight so well with so little experience.

It makes sense for Carey's character since he was a well known mob enforcer before becoming a hero so he's bound to be good in a fight.

@RenanLSMaster Yeah I guess but it kinda shows when you'll see two of them having to take down 1 guy whereas youll see kickass and stars and stripes easily take down guys on their own it's a bit weird but to be fair that's the point of the movie in the last one you see kickass using the San Andreas jetpack to blow a dude up.
Colonel Stars and Stripes had been teaching them to fight, so theyve got whatever experience comes with that.
In a world full of posers and extremelly few actual comics like character like hitgirl and mother russia, he was the most pausible version of a super hero. Just a crazy vet with a bat.
They are such an absolute unit. I love the way they watch eachother's backs.

One of the greatest most underrated sequels of all time that has stood the test of time and always will.
What? How many sequels have you watched? Was it like... this one and Mortal Kombat: Annihilation only? In that case, yeah it's ok.
But actually it is much worse than the first movie and generally sucks. The only reason to check it out is Jim Carrey really. And, well, maybe Mother Russia character was pretty fun.

He read the script, filmed all the scenes, the movie was done with post production and a week or so before it was released in the theaters he did some anti pr stuff telling people not to watch the movie because it’s violent.

Jim Carrey's dramatic or serious potrayals have always seemed bad to me. Like his eyes seem to always be aware of the camera and he doesn't seem to actually be feeling the things he's acting.
