Every time you beat classic, you get a trophy for that character. The tricky part is that you need to get both Samus and Zero-Suit Samus, Sheik and Zelda, and each of the 3 Poké Trainer pokémon.
I never 100% completed Brawl. I literally have only one challenge left uncompleted but it's the one for getting all stickers, which is bloody random as there's nothing stopping you from getting hundred of ones you already have before you finally get a new one. I still have 12 stickers that I haven't obtained yet. I'll get back to it and finish it one day. At least I never used the Golden Hammers, so I'm proud that I broke all those tiles legitimately.
I feel you. My brother and I accidentally used hammers without knowing what they were though. But he still got the 10 cruel melee ko and I remember spending hours on intense boss rush. We got everything except the stickers, then our wii broke. I plan to rectify this in Ultimate though.
I only have 6 more challenges to go then I am done with the game. 1. Clear Boss Battles on Intense 2. Collect All Stickers 3. Defeat 10 Enemies in Cruel Brawl 4. Play Over 100 Hours of Brawls 5. Endure a 15-minute brawl 6. Clear 100-Man Brawl with all characters.
In fact, the US and Japanese version’s challenges also have some that are unbreakable with golden hammers, but PAL versions have all of them breakable, making this easier.
Or I left a 4-man Brawl on overnight and got 100 hours of gameplay unlocked just from that. I got 100% completion, without cheats, in 2 weeks by approaching it with intelligence, which is something you apparently lack.
THANK YOU there are noobs on youtube trying to act cool saying that they have all the challenges but they used hammers i appreciate how someone like you who is not noob is posting a full screen without using hammers thank you btw i havent used any hammers yet and i only need one more challenge damn those stickers
In some of the blue cases are also golden hammers hidden. If you look good in some red cases, then you can maybe see a golden hammer in a sticker-like form.
Congrats dude. I think it took me until the end of 08 before I beat my last challenge (boss battles on intense of course) and I even used a couple hammers.
Mewtwo and Pichu are trophies, and Roy, Dr. Mario, and I believe Young Link too are stickers. There's also a trophy of a character which was originally supposed to be playable in Brawl but was cut before the final release: Plusle & Minun.
Thank you soo much for posting this, it helps so much when you have hammers and want to get what you need. Also this is the best one that i have seen on youtube. The others you can't really read cause the quality sucks.
thanks for the reply after so long (dedication!), but I've more or less given up on the game except for occasional online play. The frustrating elements keep it from holding up as well as the original 2 games.
What that means is how far you have moved over all characters while they were in the water. The easiest way to get that is go to the Delfino Island stage, and just move around in the water a bunch.
Accomplishing certain challenges will give you more hammers. Challenges with a faded hammer in the background will give you another hammer when you unlock that challenge.
It's a type of match. Just choose the bar above the character boxes and press the arrow button on the match type bar until it says 'Coin' or somethin... Its like Timed Match but hitting others makes bronze, silver, gold, or dollars appear. The amount varies on how many damage is inflicted. If you are K'Od then you lose some coins. In the end whoever has the most coins wins. But the money you earned doesn't get added to the coins for the coin launcher
Most commonly hammers are used on the following 1. 100 man brawl with all characters 2. 100 hours of brawls 3. 200 KO's ( even though many use a KO factory.)
Only what you see in the end of my other video (after 8 minutes): "Brawl 100% Completion: Intense Boss Battles". A notice saying "You've gotten all of the trophies! Congratulations! And thank you!". Beyond what you listed, there are other notices like for beating the co-op event modes... don't get anything for those beyond just the notice though.
Thanks, this video answered a question of mine. I had been wondering what was in the lower left hand corner hidden behind "Clear Classic on Intense." I didn't feel like eliminating the other 127 from a list just to find that one, and I didn't really want to use up a hammer just for that.
You can complete brawl 100%, its not impossible. It may take some time, but you can do it. I have not done it yet, but im getting there. Props to the guy who did this, he must have had a lot of free time and a lot of skill. If he can do it, anybody can do it.
@picklefist1 Heres a tip: use Pitt/Meta Knight/Charizard to fly under the stage. The alloys may or may not stupidly follow u so u r going to have to go back and forth for maybe 10 minutes or so. The alloys have no up-B meaning they dont recover well and they will fall to their death. Be careful not to get hit with one of their attacks because its pretty much an instant KO.
I wasn't even close to unlocking toon link so I used this vid to find the spot to get his stage with and used to gold hammer there. Thanks, this helped me. xD
I can say "illiterate" since you're unable to read either the description, and tell that this video was produced before the homebrew channel existed, as well as there were any PowerSaves options for the game, and so forth, as has been rehashed in many of the comments (again, lack of reading on your part). And as I just said, I did this in about 4 hours a day between working full time and hanging out with my family for Easter. But thanks!
Final Smash trophies are awarded for defeating All Star Mode. Just like in Classic Mode, Zelda/Shiek and Samus/Zero Suit Samus each have two Final Smash trophies, one for each form.
I think the director put up the final post today on Dojo. The final records for target smash and HR. Since i still had smash service it sent a message to my wii saying that they will no longer take new posts starting June 30th. So i swung by and saw the final records.
For Zelda, you get one when you beat it as her, but you also get a different one when you beat it as Sheik. Similarly, for Samus, you get one for beating it as her, but a different one for winning as Zero Suit Samus. Pokemon Trainer only has one final smash trophy.
If you mean the "Collect Final Smash trophies for all characters"-challenge, it means that you have to beat All Star mode with all characters. Cuz when u beat AS mode, u get a trophy with the winners FS :)
Easy way to get the 20 Kirby-battles achievement, along with a few others; Set the damage ratio to 2.0 for best results. Select a one-stock regular Brawl against Olimar, using Kirby. If you want, you can pick one of the play-10-times stages, or just choose whatever. Right when the battle begins, get near the center or another safe area and use Down-B when Olimar goes under you. Easy 20 kills, easy challenges.
@SirPenguin75 All-Star and 100-Man Brawl aren't so much hard as they are time consuming. With so many characters to play through, and upwards of fifteen minutes a run for each, you can easily spend hours on some of the "With All Characters" challenges. That made it more of a test of endurance than that of skill. The Boss Battles on Intense, however, is absolutely insane, and I doubt anybody could legitimately do it without spamtastic tactics.
@picklefist1 10 enemies on Cruel Brawl is much easier than the 3 that I listed above. You can use Pikachu and hang on the edge using Thunder, there are plenty of videos on it.
@Beastica17 Well it was awhile ago but given that the island I live on doesn't have basements, and the fact that my family was down for Easter and I remember going to the beach most every day, my tan was probably pretty decent.
@RedLeif1 You get them by completing certain challenges they have them behind the glass bit that breaks and the trophy/sticker/cd if you look hard enough you can see the before you complete the challenge
someone's not a noob because they used a hammer or hammers. they were implemented into the game for a reason. Some challenges are just too time consuming, and some don't feel like completing the difficult ones. Getting all the challenges in itself is a challenge. The hammers just ease the burden. This guy chose not to use them. Other people do. Either way, it's cool.
Yes, although some of them you might say I "cut corners" - like for 100 hours of Brawl I just left a 4-man FFA on overnight to get that... So I tried to get them as efficiently as possible
@brianklick boss battles on intense shouldn't be that hard unless if you can beat it on very hard. it'll take lots of tries, but most importantly, you need to know how to dodge the bosses attacks and how to control the sheild buttons properly, in order to beat it.
@duckypwns Use fox because alot of the bosses have projectile attacks that can easily be deflected, he's quick at dodging, and he is just plain fast! Marth is also good because he has a quick counter to bite back. Good luck!
Phanna, I ask of you... What are you going to do with your remaining Golden Hammers? If I may make a suggestion, I would recommend melting them, and forging them into a new alternate costume for Samus.
I'm playing through this game again..this goddamn game. My OCD was acting up, and I felt I should play through again, only this time I can only attain one of each trophy. While I did it fairly easily on Melee, this game is way more of a pain because of the randomness that occurs.
Boss battles on Intense doesnt work so [if it works] use it on the very bottom of the left hand corner [collect all stickers]. Use a another one diagonally to the bottom corner [clear 100 hundred man brawl with all characters.] dont use them on things that take a long time if you like the game alot like 100 hours cause by summer you'll have that done. dont use it on 15 minute brawl [use pit for that I did it on my first try.] you should try the challenge before you use a hammer.
True but it's hard to erase one specific file on accident and it's easier to accidentally format the memory (Especially if you don't know what that means like my friend...)
I never completed Brawl 100%. I literally could not get the Crazy Hand trophy and I have one challenge left uncompleted. It's the one for completing the Subspace Emissary, which is bloody random as it is so hard for me to get to the very last scene of the story. I've never gotten all 128 challenges. I got the game on the release date and I got pretty far, but my sister erased my file. -_- So I stopped trying to complete challenges for like 2 years and now I'm trying to get everything back again. :)
i have no clue, i had to use a hammer to get the mewtwo throphie which in order to unlock you had to complete all star on intense mode. I thought that was difficult.
@omni3742 i think there are 700 different stickers in the game and about 544 trophies. so it would take along time but you could do it all in under 2 weeks
I'm gonna get Brawl and a Wii today, so I have absolutely no idea of what that...weird board is...but if I read the other comments, it appears to be quite an achievement Congratulations
Well I did it in 2 weeks, both working full time, and hanging out with my family for Easter. Probably could've done it in about 5 days otherwise. It's a really easy game, don't get upset if you approach the challenges unintelligently.

idk I think it's like Game Genie or Action Replay for the Wii, some sort of cheating system that people keep accusing me of using even though other people tell me it didn't have Brawl codes when I put this vid up.
Nope, none used, and I was the first person to put up a video of completing all the challenges for US Brawl. Which is kind of funny, since I work full time and had family down for Easter at the time :-P
No, you don't get anything besides a sense of satisfaction. And you get golden hammers for completing challenges like XXX KO's, XX hours of Brawl, 45000 HRC feet.
On your video editing software, add a zoom of some arbitrary value, like 0.01. That will remove the flashing pixel-width line at the bottom of your recording without altering your core video. It is the only economical way to remove that line.
100 hours, in multiplayer this is added up so.. 1h multiplayer with 4 humans = 4 hours of brawls, if you have 4 controllers, you can try leaving the game on overnight as many people did in melee to get Mewtwo, 2000 Kos, few words, Handicap, 300%, 3 CPUs ;) as for all the stickers, there's no easy way for that, have fun at the coin launcher (this is the one challenge I have not finished, but whoever did this video is most likely better than me, I used golden hammers for a few)
Though I've played Brawl on my friend's Wii, I've never owned a Wii until a couple days ago, so I have to unlock a ton of things. My question is: how do you get those hammers? I could really use some.
@believeyourself92 Where can you swim in the water to get that challenge? Protip: it's not your bathtub (try something like toon link's pirate stage). Yikes! good luck completing the other challenges.
Michelle Markus I recommend that you use Lucas or Ness, when you face duon and launch lasers, do the psi magnet and the damage percentage will be reduced. I hope I've helped (sorry if my english is a little bad, i'm Spanish)

The subspace emissary is very hard to clear, not enough half way through.
Showcase them as proof that you worked hard at getting all of the challenges without taking a shortcut.
100 hours, in multiplayer this is added up so..
1h multiplayer with 4 humans = 4 hours of brawls, if you have 4 controllers, you can try leaving the game on overnight as many people did in melee to get Mewtwo, 2000 Kos, few words, Handicap, 300%, 3 CPUs ;)
as for all the stickers, there's no easy way for that, have fun at the coin launcher (this is the one challenge I have not finished, but whoever did this video is most likely better than me, I used golden hammers for a few)
Though I've played Brawl on my friend's Wii, I've never owned a Wii until a couple days ago, so I have to unlock a ton of things. My question is: how do you get those hammers? I could really use some.
@believeyourself92 It means swim in the water a bunch (not a ton though)
@believeyourself92 Where can you swim in the water to get that challenge? Protip: it's not your bathtub (try something like toon link's pirate stage). Yikes! good luck completing the other challenges.
you have all the stickers, anyway tricks to get them all?
the one where he goes into background try sheilding or have a low % by getting a heart in resting area before match
@SLAYEROWNZ619 yea im doing it with lucas to, is there something you can absorb at galleom?
Under the rules of a Brawl match, instead of Stock or Time, pick Coin.
Can you help me beat boss battles on intense it,s hard for me to beat
Michelle Markus
Use Captain Falcon for example, he's easy to defeat bosses. And avoid Tabuu's instant kill shockwave when reaching him
Michelle Markus I recommend that you use Lucas or Ness, when you face duon and launch lasers, do the psi magnet and the damage percentage will be reduced. I hope I've helped (sorry if my english is a little bad, i'm Spanish)
