I applied for a job as Executive Secretary. OMG. The test was 1h 30m. English: spelling, vocabulary, text interpretation, office routines. MATH: massive test on percentage, word problems on all kind of percentage from basic to advanced and very complicated. You have to read over and over, and 1h and 30m flies. Even if you know everything, you have to manage the time, otherwise fail.

Fariha Yesmin With discount problems just convert the decimal of the discount percent by dividing by 100, then multiply with the total price to find the discount price and if it asks for the the total With the discount, you subtract the discount price you got the first time from the total to find the total price with the discount
Ok I know this is super late but instead of thinking about it "dividing by 100" you can think "move the decimal twice to the left" it may seem complicated but it is easier to remember to me.

Yes I understand you multiply for example .15 x 25, but you shouldn't always use a calculator or cannot as in aptitude test so maybe show people literally how to multiply it using math not a calc.

What if you aren't allowed to use a calculator?
Do the multiplication by hand or use long division. I have videos on how to do each of those if you are interested.
