I had my aha moment! I now understand the hundredth place. In class I was not understanding my professor, I would hear hundred not hundredth, but with the examples given here, it all makes sense💖 thank you!
Out of all the videos I’ve look through yours is the best at answering my questions like why is it 100 then you said anything that’s a percent of is based off of 100 and then I was asking myself why do I only moved 2 decimals well that’s because it’s the hundredth place so thank you
Percent into fraction is easy! Percent is /100 so 13% is 13/100. That's what percent means. (out of 100) often you will need to simplify, but that's it.

You may say numerator x 100 divide by denominator, eg: 7 over 20 means 7x100 =700÷20 35%

If the rules are followed correctly, it should work for those numbers too.
Why can't you get 700 divided by 800? It gives you the same. If you multiply 100 x 7. Right?
