Hi - I noticed I've had many questions about my needle set! The needles are from SeeKnit KA. They're very expensive but they're definitely my all time favourite needles so if you're looking for a really high quality set I do recommend them. My set is made up of multiple sets and other accessories I've purchased individually over time. The case is purchased separately. It is the Stockholm case from Muud. Again, it's expensive but really lovely; it's a big upgrade on the case which comes with the SeeKnit needles. Hope that answers any questions!
I am planning on doing this as my first knitting project but I accidentally bought two different weight yarn so one color is thicker than the other. Do you think that will be a problem while making the sweater or in the final product?
As a new knitter who's looking to make her own sweaters, I cannot thank you ENOUGH for making this video - on top of making the pattern free!! I'm a very visual learner and find that step-by-step, full tutorials on knitting garments for beginners are very hard to come by - they're usually shorter specific tutorials here and there that you need to piecemeal together. I also don't know anyone in real life that knows how to knit I can go to for help or to show me things. This is soooo appreciated - thank you thank you thank you!!! I would love more of these type of videos for different garments, and would gladly pay for the patterns too!
Tip for *FIRST TIMERS* do *NOT* remove the yarn that holds the stiches for your sleeves *UNTIL* you're done or far enough along to where you know you don't have to rip back. I instinctively left my yarn stitch holders in and so glad I did because I made a few mistakes and had to rip back a few times. I sincerely appreciate this tutorial. Who knew someone so young I could be their grandmother is teaching me!
As a total newbie to knitting this has got to be the most comprehensive tutorial for a pattern I've seen so far! Thank you so much for sharing, you're an absolute angel.
This is hands down the best knitting tutorial ever. Being a complete beginner, I have been scanning hundreds of tutorials to gauge what project would be a good gateway into knitting. I am now on my second jumper (this time trying the German short rows and folded collar). For a complete novice this would seem impossible to me 3months ago. The amount of detailed planning that has gone into making this tutorial, writing the pattern, showing optional advances techniques is exceptional. Thank you Florence.
I just went through over 20 knitting videos for beginners to try & understand what I'm doing wrong to not end up with the basic sweater pattern, and you were the first one to mention the purl. Memories of how my late Grandma was trying to teach me this tricky cast came back rushing. Thank you for your perfectly clear explanations and for going snails-pace when introducing a new move. Love your energy and style of explanation, will stick around to resurrect my knitting skills ❤
I'm a knitting beginner and just finished my sweater! There wasn't a single thing I couldn't understand. The whole video is very easy to follow. I hope you film more tutorials in the future too! Thank you for the tutorial
Congratulations on finishing your sweater🎉🎉. I would love to begin making mine too, could I ask around how many grams of yarn it took you? Thanks in advance❤
Just because I know I’ll be coming back 😅 42:35 - M1R (right leaning increase) 43:20 - M1L (left leaning increase) 1:33:55 - M1Lp (left leaning increase on the purl side) 1:34:54 - M1Rp (right leaning increase on the purl side) 1:31:31 - turn from knit to purl side 1:36:26 - turn from purl to knit side 55:17 - Italian bind off
I am so impressed with this tutorial. Such a beginner friendly and detailed tutorial. Best one I have ever seen. I hope new knitters find your channel and try it. I am a beginner knitter I find it so useful. I will try your jumper soon :-) Thanks a lot florence.
Thank you SO MUCH for this detailed and clear tutorial. I cannot believe such a clear explanation is available for free. This is my first attempt at a top down sweater and I feel so silly avoiding it for so long because you make each technique so easy to understand. I’ve just finished dividing the arms and body and I’m so excited and happy with how it’s turning out!
I started knitting two days ago- with absolutely zero prior experience. Ive watched probably a dozen “intro”/“beginner” videos and kept messing up the simplest of cast-ons and knit-stitches and i just couldnt get the hang of it. Yours is the first video which has actually been able to help me understand and has allowed me to progress more than 3 rows without having to start over! (I know this could partially be due to my experience gained by trial/error, but this is still by far the most helpful video ive come across!)
this was the first sweater i knitted and it turned out beautifully, although i wish i made some changes. i didn't use the suggested yarn and chose an acrylic yarn - which i would now swap for a natural fiber, because i do tend to sweat a lot more when wearing the sweater. i also wish i would have included short rows for the neck shaping, because the sweater now sits a bit uncomfortably. otherwise i am very happy with the design! thank you florence for making such a simple pattern which is easy to follow! i'm definetly going to knit another one!
This is a phenomenal and thorough tutorial! I'm not a beginner, but I did actually learn something - your segment on the Italian bind off was probably the clearest I've ever seen and it actually made sense to me. I appreciate that you not only taught the basics, but also some advanced steps on how to improve the garment. Thanks for your generosity with this free pattern and tutorial. I'll definitely be making a sweater with your pattern!
I don't know how to thank you for this. I knitted something for the first time and it turned out perfectly, thanks to you! ❤ I've finished my first sweater and started a new one. Thank you so much for all your effort to teach us this. You're amazing. 🎉
I just started knitting your sweater the other day. I tried the folded collar and you did an awesome job explaining it! You made it super easy. I also decided to continue with being brave and I am doing the German short rows for the back. Once again, you made it super simple and I now have a new technique I can add to my collection of techniques. Thank you for being such a great teacher. Can't wait to finish my sweater!
I just wanted to pop in and say thank you so much for such a well thought out and clear video. I learned to knit when I was a child and then didn't for many years. I started crocheting a year ago and love making my own clothing. I then got a bug to learn to knit again to knit some garments, but didn't know where to start. I'm a jump right in kind of person, so decided to learn to knit again by making a sweater. Your video helped me learn so much and I have a beautiful sweater as a result! I'm now looking through the rest of your videos to learn more from you! Your video was detailed and clear, and you're an excellent teacher all around. Thanks again 🙂
This casting of method has become my new favorite! If anyone wonders how long tail to leave before staring casting off, just wrap the yarn around the knitting-needle the same number of times as you have stitches (just like long tail cast on). That covers all stitches and leaves a bit to weave in aswell. This tutorial is so awesome, a thousand thanks, I'm on my third sweater now, first with colorwork, and it wouldn't be possible without this video!
This is an amazing video!! I’ve knit for a long time but always been intimidated by sweater patterns because I am a visual learner. Of course learning some techniques are a google search away. But it is so helpful to see the techniques within the flow of constructing the garment! I can’t wait to make this. Thank you!!
I just want to say you are the very best person teaching a new knitter how to knit a sweater and socks. You have no idea how long I have waited to find someone who can show a new knitter how to build confidence in a new garment and socks you explain everything. Thank you so very much. I would love for you to make a few more tutorials. Love you so much.
I keep coming back to this video when I'm knitting a sweater. I've been looking at tutorial videos on TH-cam for a long time and I must sat: this video is definitely the best tutorial video I've seen so far.
Thank you so much for this amazing tutorial. I searched around and literally couldn't find another tutorial as clear and well explained as yours. I've learnt so much and actually managed to make myself a cute jumper just in time for winter. I've never actually finished any knitting projects but thanks to you I have a finished wearable project.
I am an experienced knitter and I still got a lot out of this video, particularly other ways to think about or explain techniques to others! Thank you!
A heads up for anyone new to knitting: if you're gonna do the magic loop method, you need a really flexible cable. If you are using old needles with a stiff or thick cable it is a nightmare and will cause laddering (big spaces between sts). But also, if you learn magic loop on sleeves like this, it is a treat techie to be able to make socks 2 at a time - thus getting rid of second sock syndrome if that something you struggle with. And if you are piecing a sweater, you can work both sleeves at once with magic loop too!
I'm a first time knitter in the round and this was my first sweater. The tutorials were incredibly helpful and the sweater looks amazing! I like the fact I can alter as I go to make it longer, shorter etc. Thanks for the pattern and the video.
This is such a well made video! Thank you so much for taking the time to explain everything in detail. Some of my beginner knitting friends are afraid to start a sweater, so I will definitely be passing this on to them ☺️
I just finished my step by step sweater! This gave me so much confidence as a novice knitter and it was so fun! I will definitely be recommending this pattern to others looking to knit their first sweater. Thank you, Florence! 🫶🏽
If anyone is wondering if this project is worth it, I can tell you now that it 100% is! I am often dissapointed in tutorials on yt, but this video taught me sooo much about knitting and it was all super easy to follow! Thank you so much for this, I love my new sweater! 🥰
That was a great idea to knit a complete sweater for and with us!💕 There are so many Russian and Ukraine knitters who do that, but unfortunately I cannot understand anything😢. And they are really knitting awesome projects and explain exactly how you can do that for your own size. Of course there exist thousands of videos for any part of a project, but it is sooooo much more comfortable to have it all in one video. Thanks very very much to do that.
Thank you for this tutorial. I knitted 2 sweaters for both me and my husband. They're our favorites now. It is so easy to follow even for a beginner like me followed and finished it. :)
I've always been a little hesitant to knit stuff that actually needs to fit. Just a few weeks ago, I started knitting socks though and it's SO much fun to be able to actually wear the things you knit regularly! So, this video inspired me to try my first sweater. I am practicing the German short rows on my current wip socks, so that I am ready for the sweater when my Drops order arrives. Thank you so much for this tutorial, this is just what I needed to take away my fear of knitting clothes!
As a slightly advanced knitter it was a total delight to hear and watch your video! Educational to its fullest, without the usual blabla others provide! Well done! Cheers from Germany🙋🏻♀️
Thank you so much for this tutorial! You made it simple enough to learn how to figure out a sweater. And you can crazy with this to include things like cables and lace work to make the sweater extra special. All you need to figure out the math, like how many rows or many stitches you need for the collar or the sleeves, things like that. It's not as hard as you think it is. And you can make different sizes for people and they will definitely sell. Which is what I'm planning on doing sometime in the near future. So again thank you for that!
You are incredible, picking up 1-2 new skills every time I try a new project. Thank you for this, I’ve been so nervous, but your pattern has set my mind at ease.
BRAVO!!! Your tutorial took out the fear in knitting a sweater. Make one right and left, was intimidating, No longer! I also, love love love all the tips that you give that we can apply to a finished garment. also, that Italian bind off is so clear on your tutorial. So I decided to start a sweater, I followed the construction per your instructions and I have a Yoke!!! I am at the point of splitting sleeve stitches from the body and I am not scared... I am sooo glad I found your channel! Thank you, for making this sweater pattern a free PDF download! I feel like a pro! Ciao Bella
I am SO grateful for this tutorial ❤ I never ever knitted in my life before, only crocheted few things and I managed to make WHOLE a perfect sweater from a first try !!!
Without looking at all the comments below, I would like to mention that there is a 3rd way of casting on that I never see on these podcasts. It's the way I learned as a kid when I first learned to knit and I still use it because it's uncomplicated. The process is to create the first stitch with a knot and a tail onto one of your needles as you did, but then simply use that as a starting point to simply knit the next stitch following and then place it on the right needle and carry on with all the remaining stitches from the previous stitch and as you create each stitch, simply slip each new stitch onto your stationary needle and use that one as the base for the next stitch. Keep on adding stitches until you have the number you need for your project. Connect the ends and continue on as you demonstrated. It ends up looking pretty much the same as the long-tail cast on but may be much easier for newer knitters. You are, BTW, an excellent instructor. It is a great demo for beginners.
ah so like a cable cast on! I use it for a couple of things (starting icord and sometimes under sleeves I guess) but I always love longtail cast on for collars
Thank you!! I want to learn knitting and as soon as my yarn and needles arrive I will try to knit it! Note to myself: second method 13:46. I finished my first knitting sweater!! It looks awesome.
Thank you, Florence, and greetings from Argentina! Your video is excellent. You are generous and show us everything that is needed for a knitting project and not just what other knitters usually repeat from one another. This is the first time I see and learn that I must wash my gauge and how to hide ends neatly. Thank you and please go on guiding us like this! Great work!
Documenting my progress as a freshie because I know I’ll come back! Day 1: I finished the ribbing pretty quickly second try, as the concept was very easy to understand! The first time I messed up and somehow got 5 extra stitches 😵💫 I’m currently at the yoke. I tried to knit with sandnes kos, which unfortunately didn’t work out, so I bought some new similar sized yarn called Rauma Garn “Vams”, and that works very well so far. Because I had fewer stitches than 16 in the 10cm, I switched to 4mm and 5mm needles and it has worked well. The yarn IS itchy but.. it’s mostly for learning purposes anyways! Day 2: Everything is going according to plan, I’ve had some issues which I can almost guarantee everyone else has also experienced, like losing stitches and getting random holes in places. Also some strange ones like my interchangeable needles unscrewing mid knit and getting my stitch marker stuck inside the knit??!!🤣 luckily I improvised and found a way around all those mistakes I made, including clipping off the stick marker😆 I’m at row 14 now and it’s looking GOOD!! I chose to do a solid aqua colored sweater and I love it so far! I’m at row 20 and I just used up my first chunk of yarn! It’s looking so good and everything is surprisingly simple thanks to this amazing video!! Ended the day on row 24 :D Day 3: I started knitting at 11am, i switched from 40cm to 80cm and omg it’s huge! 😆 I started off knitting from row 24 and ended the day on row 31! I didn’t have time for much knitting today but I hope I can get more done tomorrow. I’m so excited for the finished result!! Day 4: I started off knitting in the morning at row 31, and I’m planning on possibly finishing tomorrow. I’m thinking near 10 rows today and the last ones tomorrow!
Interesting - why did Kos not work for you? I haven’t used it but my sister did knit one in a very similar yarn and it turned out well, other than needing a little elastic in the collar!
@@handmadebyflorence Hi! Unfortunately it’s more of a me problem, as I have a tendency of knitting tightly and the yarn ripped multiple times :( After my first sweater I’m definitely gonna try to make another one with kos for my mother. I’m sure that once I find an even and comfortable tension to work with everything will go as planned! 🩵
Thank you so much for this video! I've been wanting to knit a jumper for long time but just didn't have the confidence to try. Your video was SO clear that I'm happy to say I have successfully completed my first jumper over the last three weeks. I've even ordered more wool so that I can do another in a different colour.
Thank you for your detailed video and pattern! I started relearning crocheting again in 2020 after a 30+ year break, and now wanted to learn knitting. I made a couple of hats and a shawl just to practice basic stitches. I am now making this sweater!! It has lots of mistakes… some obvious… but I was too far past to even know how to redo it. (Crocheting is easy to undo and continue) Anyway, my stitch gauge came up pretty spot on, but my stitches look so much looser and untidy. I am not sure yet how to keep my needles closer together to get a tighter stitch… they end up farther apart and I hav3 to sort of pull each stitch to try to tighten. Maybe with more practice (and someday better needles!) Thanks for showing those of us who are complete beginners, the possibility of knitting a beautiful sweater.
I'm not a new knitter but I am new to top down seamless sweater knitting. Your tutorial is brilliant! I have been so worried about trying top down and now I feel I can tackle it with confidence. Thank you for taking the time to explain so clearly and doing it step by step.
thank youu so much for this tutorial! I'm almost done with my sweater (one more sleeve to go), this is my first raglan knit and you made it so simple to understand! I was intimidated but your tutorial and pattern really helped and made it fun instead of scary! I will definitely be returning to this pattern for more sweaters xx
I purchased your pattern several months ago, and just cast on my third sweater. This pattern is so well written and easy to follow. The fit is perfect. Thank you for a terrific beginner-friendly pattern!
I am so impressed! I honestly feel like with the help of your tutorial I CAN actually knit a sweater! You seem so young to have so much knowledge- and your dialogue is just simple and straightforward. Thank you so much!
Just finished my first sweater! Thanks so much for this super clear video tutorial and pattern. Making a sweater for the first time is daunting for beginners but you made it completely unintimidating. I was never confused or frustrated. Also appreciate the inexpensive yarn reco.
i wanted to knit a sweater for months now. but i could never find a pattern i like AND wasnt to complicated. This video made it so easy for me to just learn the basics! Thank you so much for explaining every step. like explaining why you use the stitch markers! This video helped me a lot, thanks!
Thank you so much for the FREE pattern, as a beginner/ intermediate knitter it was a great first sweater I would totally recommend. I love your podcasts as well. Thanks a lot :)
I would pay you 1000000$ for this pattern if I could. Can not express just how much I appreciate your work! Thanks a million for such a wonderful pattern along with the most detailed tutorial! Many hugs
I am definitely going to make this. Thank you so much for all the helpful tips. I am not a completely new knitter but I found some of your suggestions very helpful and I really appreciate the German short row demo. I’m still trying to get my head around short rows . Have shared with a friend who is new to knitting. I think this will be a fabulous first knit for her.
Love this tutorial, I have wanted to knit a top down sweater but never found one that I could follow as good as this one, it is an excellent tutorial, cannot wait to start my project! Thank you.
Thank you for taking the time to make the best instructional tutorial. My jumper is coming along nicely and you have made it possible for me understand the entire construction of it. Thank you!
I just learned how to knit 2 weeks ago after years of crocheting and this is my first project. You made it so easy to follow and helped me learn knit patterns as I follow the written pattern too. Just have to finish up my he sleeves and I’ll have my first project done 🤗
German short rows section useful timestamps! 1:31:09 turning work from RS to WS 1:33:49 M1Lp (also called M1R from wrong side) 1:34:59 M1Rp (also called M1L from wrong side) 1:36:25 turning work from WS to RS
I have been crocheting for a few years now and always wanted to try knitting but never found something that appeals to me so I’m very excited to make this sweater!
Florence you have set me free. You are such a wonderful teacher! You filled in all the holes in what I needed to know about knitting a sweater. I can’t thank you enough for this gift. You are delightful!!
Currently working on the yoke so still a long way to go but I needed to come here to thank you! This is brilliant and as a beginner this has been INCREDIBLY helpful. Even if it doesn’t turn out perfect I’m sure I’ll learn a lot so thank u!
I have to say you explain things incredibly clearly. I've been knitting a long time but I'm just now adding in garment making to my accomplishments so I have been watching many tutorials and yours are by far the best. I wish you had more on your channel lol. I love petiteknit's but I would wager yours are better. Also having to watch what she's doing and read the English subtitles at the same time is hard for my brain so I end up watching them multiple times
Wow, this is an incredible video. I was so scared to learn increases and decreases & now I feel so much more confident to try! Thank you so much for making such a truly detailed and well explained tutorial!!:)
Thank you for a brilliant video - it popped up on my feed tonight even though I hadn't been searching 😊 After many, many years of 'no time', I wanted to start knitting again but had been prevaricating - knitting in the round and magic loop was bugging me because I couldn't seem to get my head around it. While I was watching your video it all clicked 🎉🎉 🎉 I'll definitely be recommending your video to anyone else needing encouragement!
Thank you so much for this pattern and video! Your instructions are so clear and easy to follow, that I just finished my german shortrows, even though I've never knit a sweater before! I feel so accomplished already and I'm enjoying the process so much! I'd recommend this to anyone who wants to start knitting 😊😊😊
thank you thank you thank you! this was my first knit sweater ever and i am so pleased with how it turned out! thank you for all the clear instructions!!
Thanks to you I am making my FIRST own sweater!!! 🎉 Thank you so much for explaining in detail the essential parts and omitting the long parts. I would love to make also a cardigan with you! ❤ Everything is so clear and beginner friendly. Without you I could not have make it to my own sweater. I have a book, but no clue how to set it into practice. Since I don’t understand the knits. THANK YOU 🙏 ❤
I just finished this pattern tonight and I’m so happy with how it turned out! This is my first ever hand-knitted sweater and I’m so excited to wear it.
you are literally a life saver, this video and the pattern helped me SOOOOOOOO MUCH to understand how knitting works, i don't have enough words to thank u
Thank you so much for doing this excellent work!!! I am going to try soon my very first sweater with you! That‘s for sure. I‘ve searched for several tutorials, but yours is by far the best!😍
Thank you so much for this tutorial. I have never knit before and after watching this I MADE A SWEATER!!! I’m so happy that this was able to help me achieve my New Year’s resolution for myself. I can’t wait to continue my knitting journey.
Just finished my step by step sweater, thanks for the pattern !❤️ I used Berroco remix chunky, a cotton blend, short sleeves bc I was running out of yarn, sized down to adjust for the slightly heavier yarn, 14 stitch gauge, fits well
What an amazing video for beginner knitters! You explain everything so well! Perhaps you could also make a video about fixing mistakes, like dropped stitches and anything else that might happen as you knit. And understanding if you've made a mistake and what it was so you can fix it. Because it has happened to me to see that something is wrong, but didn't know what.
I'm thrilled to have found you here, along with a fantastic tutorial. I'm attempting my first top-down, so I require a clear explanation accompanied by a video. I'm very pleased with this. I will definitely purchase another tutorial as soon as I try and complete this one. Thanks a lot for everything!
Thank you so much for creating this tutorial and pattern. It has taken the mystery out of all the steps necessary to create a straight-forward sweater. I have finally been able to make the jump from scarves to garments thanks to you. 😀
Thank you so very much for your video! I bought your pattern, which I find helps along the way, but you sharing what to do along the way really helps. There are so many videos that want to tell you only so much or only sell you the video. But you really are so kind in helping us all out in ways that we really need some help. I really appreciate your video and I LOVE your pattern!! It's wonderful! I adore you. Thank you so much!
Thank you so very much for this video. I will be knitting your sweaters as my first sweaters, and in this video, you gave me all the tools to do it without fear. Thank you, and Thank you .............. 😇
Thanks so much for the FREE pattern and tutorial. It fits so well, and I love it. It is the same colors as yours. Lol thanks again, I will buy patterns from you as they are very clearly written.
Extremely useful tutorial.. thank you so much for explaining so simply things I have you tubed many times! 🧶 Please do more .. especially joining colours to make stripes without jogging! 😊
i impulsively bought enough yarn to make my first sweater and this video is exactly what i needed!! it's so detailed and makes it really easy bc i'm a visual learner lol thank you!
Hi Florence. Long time knitter, First time watcher. Thx for the great tutorial. Loved it. About to start my first top down for 2024 using some of these great tips. 😊❤
I’ve been looking for a video how to make increases on neck part, and this is so clear and concise compared the other vids I’d watched. Thank you so much❤
Thank you Thank you Thank you! I have wanted to do this for so long and thanks to you simplifying the process step by step and sharing your talent, I can!
I’m thinking of buying this set of needles, what length are yours?
hi, i have a question can you make a video about how you hold your needles? i am having trouble sith this : )
I am planning on doing this as my first knitting project but I accidentally bought two different weight yarn so one color is thicker than the other. Do you think that will be a problem while making the sweater or in the final product?
Would love to see a vid of your kit or accessories you use!
thank you !! what size/length are your needles?
As a new knitter who's looking to make her own sweaters, I cannot thank you ENOUGH for making this video - on top of making the pattern free!! I'm a very visual learner and find that step-by-step, full tutorials on knitting garments for beginners are very hard to come by - they're usually shorter specific tutorials here and there that you need to piecemeal together. I would love more of these type of videos for different garments, and would gladly pay for the patterns too!
Truthhhh
Total Truth! I am super happy whit my first neck shaping!!! Thank you, thank thank you!!!
God bless you! I do my first neck shaping because of you!!! Thank you!!!
@501l4r4u83r did you do same no of stitches (60) or did you change it?
I agree with everything you said.

Oh, Janis.

I am so impressed with this tutorial. Such a beginner friendly and detailed tutorial. Best one I have ever seen. I hope new knitters find your channel and try it. I am a beginner knitter I find it so useful. I will try your jumper soon :-) Thanks a lot florence.
Bro I literally started knitting two days ago and ive seen probably dozens of “beginner” videos but this has BY FAR been the most beginner friendly!
Thank you SO MUCH for this detailed and clear tutorial. I cannot believe such a clear explanation is available for free. This is my first attempt at a top down sweater and I feel so silly avoiding it for so long because you make each technique so easy to understand. I’ve just finished dividing the arms and body and I’m so excited and happy with how it’s turning out!

this was the first sweater i knitted and it turned out beautifully, although i wish i made some changes.
i didn't use the suggested yarn and chose an acrylic yarn - which i would now swap for a natural fiber, because i do tend to sweat a lot more when wearing the sweater.
i also wish i would have included short rows for the neck shaping, because the sweater now sits a bit uncomfortably. otherwise i am very happy with the design! thank you florence for making such a simple pattern which is easy to follow! i'm definetly going to knit another one!
Thank you!!
Finally a knitting tutorial that's step by step that a true beginner can follow! Bless you! ❤
And if you are piecing a sweater, you can work both sleeves at once with magic loop too!
ooo good to know about doing both socks at the same time
52:00 "We have something that is topologically a sweater at least" I always knew craftspeople were secret mathematicians at heart ❤
I haven't knit in almost a decade and this tutorial has been great. I'm doing so well so far. I can't wait to finish it.
You taught me how to knit! Would love a series like this with other garments ex; socks, cardigan
Very nicely explained and filmed. I think I finally understand German short rows! Thanks for the work you've done to put this together for us. 😊
Ended the day on row 24 :D
Day 3: I started knitting at 11am, i switched from 40cm to 80cm and omg it’s huge!
(Crocheting is easy to undo and continue)
Anyway, my stitch gauge came up pretty spot on, but my stitches look so much looser and untidy. I am not sure yet how to keep my needles closer together to get a tighter stitch… they end up farther apart and I hav3 to sort of pull each stitch to try to tighten. Maybe with more practice (and someday better needles!)
Thanks for showing those of us who are complete beginners, the possibility of knitting a beautiful sweater.
I'm not a new knitter but I am new to top down seamless sweater knitting. Your tutorial is brilliant! I have been so worried about trying top down and now I feel I can tackle it with confidence. Thank you for taking the time to explain so clearly and doing it step by step.
As a total beginner, I’m so thankful for this in depth tutorial and I’m so happy with how my sweater turned out!
thank youu so much for this tutorial!
You’re very good with tutorials! This is my biggest knitting project and I’m so excited about having a sweater at the end.
i wanted to knit a sweater for months now. but i could never find a pattern i like AND wasnt to complicated.
This is PERFECT! I’ve wanted to learn how to knit for a long time as I am a crocheted but I was having such a hard time. So excited to make this
I would pay you 1000000$ for this pattern if I could.

Thank you so much Florence. You gave me a lot of hope with this demonstration and the free patern. Many blessings to you. Marieta from South Africa.
While I was watching your video it all clicked 🎉🎉 🎉
I'll definitely be recommending your video to anyone else needing encouragement!
How many times did I watch this video?
YES
Everything is so clear and beginner friendly.

Thank you for showing different ways to do some of the knitting and explaining the different stitches. I am looking forward to making this jumper.
I just started the sweater two days ago and I'm so excited to see how it'll turn out!
thank you so much you helped me learn so much
Thank you so much for creating this tutorial and pattern. It has taken the mystery out of all the steps necessary to create a straight-forward sweater. I have finally been able to make the jump from scarves to garments thanks to you. 😀
Awesome I’m not a beginner knitter but will definitely try this pattern soon you’re awesome

I am trying to master mitts…what pattern do you use please?
I’ve been looking for a video how to make increases on neck part, and this is so clear and concise compared the other vids I’d watched. Thank you so much❤
