The whole idea of playing with an orchestra actually came from beloved Cliff Burton, former Bass player who passed away in the bus accident. This is actually the second performance of both the orchestra and Metallica playing together. the first time was about 21 years ago with the same band members except bass player Robert Trujillo, the bass player at the time was Jason Newstead. There's a whole live album of Metallica and SFS. Definitely worth a listen!

They played this whole concert at the cinema for one night where I live. Cinema sold out ( of course. ) Went with a friend who hadn’t seen the first SM gig. We both lost it! Absolutely brilliant show
