Four of us flew on one of AIR MAURITIUS' 8-day-old Neos, to, and from, LA REUNION, at the start of May. We were VERY impressed with these beautiful new planes; especially the seat cameras, which enable you to look straight ahead, or down, depending on your choice. To watch 'take-off' from the front was awesome. We could not afford First Class, but the Economy Class is perfectly comfortable for the 12-hour flight to Mauritius. The gently 'swept-up' wing-tips are very elegant, and we were surprised that such a huge plane needs only two engines. Wonderful experience, thanks to AIR MAURITIUS.

Josh did I see that some of the middle row business class seats were slightly different ? Some next to each other and others in the Herringbone lay out ?? Could not agree more re sleeping position...having flown Malaysian Business Class in their A330 many times I have found if you ALMOST recline the seat its much more comfortable and as I like to sleep on my side it helps with the narrow footwell!! Well done mate and glad the cheesecake was up to you high standards !! Looking forward to your next review!!
Man, did you know that Airbus mostly makes all interiors? The airline chooses colors, and a seat template that Airbus provides. They have tons of things to choose though
Planes actually don't cruise perfectly level, they are pitched up by a few degrees. My guess is when you lay your seat flat, it's flat in relation to the plane but you are in fact in a position where your feet are higher than your head (because the plane itself is pitched up) so the blood tends to pool in your upper body.

If the A330-NEO is comparable to the 767 in function, then I think Air Astana should replace their 767’s with these A330-NEO’s. As the only other person in this comment section who’s flown Air Astana, what do you think, Josh?
Hey Josh! I noticed in the intro that you rinced your mouth with water from the planes tanks. While this clearly isn't a death sentence as medical professional I really don't recommend it. A dose of " anywhere " belly is not a lot of fun. Most Airlines label this water as NON POTABLE these days so why risk it?
Does 777 economy seats has bit more legroom versus A330 ? That is what I felt in China Eastern from LAX to Shanghai Pudong ( 777 ) and then from Shanghai Pudong to New Delhi ( A330 ). It could be particular airline seat configuration too
I do love your videos, Josh but please remember what a relatively low percentage of people ever get to fly first/business class. So many flight reviews nowadays seem to spend their lives flying first class and are pretty irrelevant to the over 80% of potential viewers who only ever fly economy.

The airport is found in Plaisance which is completely on the opposite side of the island as compared to Port Louis... 😉

How much room you have is based on that airlines seat design as well as how much room they want to give you. You can find that data on the Internet.
