I'm flying out on the A330-900neo at the weekend from UK to US on Delta One, and the return leg the following week is on the A330-900neo with Virgin Upper Class. Looking forward to it! Good review. I really enjoyed the A350 upper class seat when I flew previously.
@@gowdie911 it’s only my first day in the US today, I flew Delta One yesterday, flying Virgin back at the weekend. Delta One was good but I wasn’t blown away by the style - it looked very “plain Jane” but it was very comfortable - my flight was 9 hours and honestly felt like a 5 hour flight. Food was decent, dessert was the best. Comfort levels were 9/10. Cabin could have done with a wipe down before I arrived.
I always love Liam's pluffy pillow rating. I've only flown Virgin once but found it to be a very nice experience. Thanks, NIcky, Sam, and Liam for reviewing this flight. Love your videos -- although watching them makes me think that I erred in choosing my career -- I'd much rather review flights! Have a great weekend!

Nicky IS The Points Guy. On airplanes that are new and ones that are emerging with new technology and features, I don't begrudge him at all for taking the Point of traveling in the best class initially. He has done plenty in other classes on airlines as well, but it is his channel and I don't think you should give him too much heat as he is making all of this available and possible.

I’ve flown VA in Premium and First (using points) many times over the past twenty years between Miami and LHR. The staff have always been friendly and professional. I think the extra legroom is worth it on a long flight. The other extras are just icing on the cake.
Loved this thorough review, allowing a peek of the flying experience at various levels. Flying VA for the first time this week ATL-LHR in Economy Delight and this review has shown me that it’ll be an enjoyable experience, but also makes me want to think about upgrading to Premium on a future flight. 😊 Well done!
@@r1cermoney Economy Delight was a wonderful experience. Tons of legroom (I’m 5’2”), huge beautiful IFE screens, fairly nice meals, and a lightweight blanket at each seat. I was fortunate enough to be on the two-seater side (2-4-2 layout) with no seat mate in both directions. Will definitely be flying Economy Delight on future VA trips!

Flew on the VA A380 Heathrow to Dullas (DC) in economy & paid just £70 more for extra leg space. Apart from Singapore Airlines, it was the best economy ever. Large comfortable seats, first class amenity pack, great food, obliging flight attendants and the A380 is so quiet compared to any other plane I've flown with and such large windows (something to do with new aircraft technology I think). A great flight in both directions.
6:34 - pretty nice feedback for Virgin's cabin design team regarding the "leather". Because, they don't use animal leather at all in the new cabins! It's lighter, better for the environment and clearly more ethical! Way to go, Virgin Atlantic!💜🌍🐂

My family and I just took a round trip flight from Tampa to Heathrow on the A330-900 in economy plus seats and it was the best fight we've ever taken! Those Rolls-Royce Trent 7000 engines are SO QUITE and smooth!!! And the flight crew was amazing! Syncing the very large entertainment screen to my Airpods via Bluetooth was a breeze! We will defiantly book again!! Way to go Virgin Atlantic!!!! BTW, they have some exclusive podcasts to listen too as well. I love the bit about Abby Road Studio!!

How about you guys flying via Zurich and checking out those impressive lounges/terraces? (First, Senator/Star Gold, Business) Just make sure to be there when the weather is right: The terraces are closed when it's raining or snowing..

So jealous. I fly UC on the 787 every now and then and this looks so much better. Thinking of going PE next time as the 787 UC is pokey and not very private. A bulkhead in PE might be almost as good for a non sleeping leg.

Flew back from JFK on their A350 in Premium just the other day. Absolutely superb compared to Economy which I'd only ever gone in before. Not sure I'll be able to take another long haul economy flight again!
