    As to the ID, the affiant (the one who executes the affidavit) needs to present ID to the lawyer/notary public who will notarize the affidavit

    • @janeandjain
      @janeandjain  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      That's great. In the province they don't really hassle much so the lawyer did not ask for my I.D. but only my parents.

      But you got married in India, right? Do you still need to have it registered? Is it not automatically going to be registered as continuation of the court process, since you got married in Indian court?
      I got married here in the Philippines. We need to register our marriage in India so his civil status will be changed from single to married.

    Hi! I have a question. After marriage, I would like to change my surname but my indian husband said that if I change my surname I will have to use his first name as my last name. How will I do that?

    • @janeandjain
      @janeandjain  9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I think you should ask Elena from Adele Vlogs because I think she change her name. She mentioned before that if she will ever change last name, she will need to put the full name of her husband (as her last name). For me, I did not change my name because it's a hassle and more money & efforts involve. I just change my status that's all.

      She can apply for tourist visa and post marriage you can file for conversion. Else you can request indian embassy in Manila to provide x-misc visa, which is a special case visa and may not be granted. I requested x-misc because toutist visa were banned at the time.

    2 is there any benefit that either of the couple get just being married to foreigner ? Coz if we see the passport index none of both countries r in top ranking and moreover indian govt dorsnt recognise dual citizenship too so whats the reason behind marriage abroad ,

      She is beyond passport or nationality. Hope this answers the question.
