When I first met my Filipna she told me later that one of the first things she did was smell me to see if I smoke and stink.Personal grooming is very important for any culture. I am a white Canadian.

Hello, I’m a black man engaged to a Filipina. We have had this discussion. For the both of us placing a color above personality and character are sure ways of having a short relationship. Skin color tells no one anything about how the person will treat their significant partner. I’m blessed to have my Filipina that doesn’t look at skin color, she looked inside at my heart and personality.

I'm a black American getting married to a Filipina. There are plenty of options gents. I think with Indian men is the diet. Their foods tend to give off a strong smell.

Its not only that, I've sat behind a few of them in the bus and they do have bad BO.
They did a study and discovered that indians sense of smell isn't as good as other people.
It makes sense due to where they come from.
As an African-American man, this video was very 😳 eye-opening and informative… It really puts it into perspective how women from the Philippines truly feel about us… or rather how little they think of us. Anyway, I appreciate this video.
I'm Black not American but from the Caribbean and I travelled from 22 until 30, spent 11 months in the Philippines between davao city and cebu city and I can assure being Black is not an issue. Most ppl who have never had personal experiences only have what they see on TV and social media to go by but once that initial experience wears off its all about you as a person. I had neighbours who would come and cook for me when I was there. After a week or two I was pretty much family
You will find different answers with other islands, especially Negros.

As a black American man, I'm fully aware of how tainted and unfairly portrayed we are in the world. My Filipina swept all that social media garbage aside, she sees the heart; not hearsay.
There are islands, particularly Negros, where you will be the favorite.
A lot of the hype about black men is being put out by the white men. After my years in the Philippines, Filipinas are more willing to date and marry a black American now days. Seeing how white Americans act here is quite abysmal.

The fact they think we aren’t clean is because we are black.I literately told this to some Filipinas before on a live stream I told them the white guys in Asia maybe nice but here in America they aren’t.In some cases there more disrespectful than us.When I went to this college in Iowa all white people me and these other 2 guys we were literally the only black people throughout the entire school.And I never seen so much disgusting people in my life every time they sneeze they never cover there nose and then they touch the door knobs and all the books and paper🤢.Even the white girls literally was scratching there but in public outside and in the classroom.The other thing I noticed wen I went to that college is that most of the guys stank the white guys because they were too lazy to fake showers before class.I would see dandruff all in there hair every time they scratch there head it’s falling all out 🤔😂😂.So for them to say black men are nasty and not clean ummm that’s a lie completely false.Last time I checked Filipina women aren’t that clean either Thai women and Chinese women keep up there hygiene a lot better then they do🤔.
I am South Indian i stay in bangalore. i respect filipino culture and the women interests of their choice...Indian men marry one female person through out the life and they understand their partner difficulties and they respect women

Being both filipino and blk American. And speaking several filipino dialects. Communication is key.. I'm not having a problem getting the attention most won't get. However, im the one being picky due to my older age and not wanting to date married, separated, or single moms. I prefer a very dark skinned filipina.vs pale white skin with blonde hair....I can wait for the right one. There are plenty of opportunities. So, being a gentleman, it's my choice to vent appropriately available filipina very wisely. Indian women tend to date their own ...so is unlike id have the opportunity to find out. Something very surprising that most Filipinos don't remember is that Black American came and fought to help liberate the country against Americans.
Also well, the cultures aren't exactly the same. There are a lot of similarities to where both can assimilate very easily to one another. I felt completely at home. Constantly just drawing similarities.
FYI. I am an Indian man. Married a filipina. She us very happy with my hygiene. Don't compare Indians from India, they give Indians a bad name in d phil. Compare Indians from d Caribbean and other countries, u will see a big difference

what i got from these interviews is that filipinas prefer filipino men. they only want foreigners if they are good providers but it doesnt matter if the filipino is a good provider or not. thanks for the insights into what they really want. i would pass on the philippines and the filipinas.
prefer pinoy men till they get preggo with some kids, and he disappears. then they want capt foreigner sav-a-hoe to come swoop in and be the beta provider for her, her kids that arent his, and even her family.
Even most American women prefer American men first, cultural adjustments is the first obstacle..

Ive heard stories of Filipina OFWs working in Singapore that work as house maids hooking up with Indian/Bangladeshi construction workers cuz they get lonely. A SG guy wouldn't be seen dead with an OFW unless he wants to be ridiculed. Their conplaint about the hygiene is accurate from the stories I was told. Most workers will have a dingy apartment with about 8 guys living together living under unsanitary conditios. These are the same guys that OFWs have to choose from cuz they're the only ones willing to date them.

I lived in the Philippines for about 5 years. I am half Black half white American. for some of the girls I dated i was told i barley passed the test as I was almost to dark. in general Filipino's are polite and nice, however if a old white guy want's your girl and he has the same money status as you 9 times out of 10 the white guy get's the girl. but if no white guy is after your girl it's rather easy to date there. what i said is true. Filipino's will even pay more money for a identical white phone then the same phone that is black no joke.

lol ya it’s true I’m also black and white and I was told the same thing. I also get mistaken for a Indian all the time and I always get the nose holding constantly but then when they notice or I tell them that I’m black American I all of a sudden not smelly anymore

You know the first time I went to Manila, everyone there thought I was Spanish. I had no problems even after I said no I'm black American just light skin. I think if you are respectful to everyone, have good manners and are friendly you should be fine. I'm in love with my Filipina, not doubt when you fall in love it's over, your addicted.

Latino guys are looked highly upon. (Depends on the Latino). Part of their self inferiority towards past colonialism.
Latino men have their own Latina women to choose from, unlike African-Americans who do NOT have great women of their own kind to choose from. Latinos are ok right where they are and don't have to look elsewhere for quality.

The Philippines have changed since COVID. A lot of young Filipinos don't have experience with many American men; especially black men. I can't say with any certainty. However, from the street interviews it sounds like many Filipina's are making choices based on hearsay.
World experiences yes.
(Which few filipinas have themseld, so they listen to friends etc whom has experiences).
Word of mouth travel quickly in closeknit societies.
And its ironicly accurate.
But it does not mean it applies to all 8 billion people;)
My experience is also that single indians are the ones that are most supercreepy, lack filters, very pervy in talks, curses most, and most unhygenic.
BUT that does NOT mean that most indians are that way.
But among the majority on "sites" etc that behave horrible etc... the indians definitly stick out like thorns.
Its like basic etiquette is out the door when some goes online.
They did forget latino men.
