I've seen you in many different stages when decorating your home, I love this new way by far the most. The natural simplistic look of antiques and different thrifted pieces you have collected are far more beautiful and it gives a sense of old time homes feel, it gives a beautiful cozy and warm unique style to a person's home....you did great with your finds amy. Those sweet baby birds 😍 “An eye of restraint” love that phrase. That’s exactly where I am regarding decor’. However the more I embrace it the more I am enjoying my decor. You found some great finds. Those blue dishes added so much to your hutch. I love how you are adding color. So beautiful!

Those blue dishes were used in our house at Thanksgiving and Christmas Day. My mom had a whole set and now my sister still uses them at Thanksgiving. Beautiful and sweet memories. Your house is just so pretty!

I just got a message from my daughters piano teacher to come to the back door for her piano lesson because she had baby birds that were hatched in a nest the momma bird made in the wreath on her door. The baby birds are so sweet.

Wood glue the leg on the milking stool! So cute.
Those first two baskets in the beginning are the best for foraging wildflowers and keeping them neatly together in the car until they get home. They are getting harder to find. Those birds are so sweet. Keep that nest when they are done with it. It will look so sweet under a cloche!! Im trying to think of the number of times I find nothing 😳. I just love thrifting.
I loved how this video was whole, not like some you tubers, who will take you thrifting in 1 video, do the haul in another and decorate in another. loved that we got to see it all in 1 video. only gutted we didn't get to see the little butter crock next to the large one. love your home and love all your videos, and love the fact that you are always smiling....

My 101 yr old Mother in law has a double door entry & a bird built a little nest & laid 5 eggs in it! She uses the door, so my sister in law moved the wreath to the side that isn't opened. Praying the eggs hatch! Thank you for showing us your nest & baby birds.. what a beautiful gift from God! ❤ I love your decorating , your new finds, and your garden videos, too.. I'm an older subscriber (70), and your style is very similar to mine. I've always liked a cozy but restrained amount of things out, so I appreciate that aspect of your decorating, too! Hi Amy, I love your decorating style! Green and white and blue have always been my colors! I love your Currier and Ives By Royal Dalton set that you found! I found a treasure box in a used store with tons and tons of those dishes that God led me to about 3 years ago! I only ended up paying about $18 for all of them. God knew I was wanting a set that I could afford and He provided it. He knows what we want and need and provides especially His Son Jesus, God bless you and your family!😃❤️🙏

I just LOVE your home!!! Even though it is far more elegant and bigger than my grandparents ever had, it reminds me so much of their home. Same welcoming feeling, simple and beautiful, and full of old treasures (though to them were ordinary everyday objects). I love the layout of your downstairs, too. I need to work harder at getting my house in this shape, the last few years have been rough and things are in great disarray! But my vision is there, just got to roll up my sleeves!! LOL!!

If you want to get paint off the hardware...just put them in a thrifted crockpot and cover with water, making sure all are submerged totally. Plug in, cover, put on high...check on it hourly...the paint will peel off!
