Coming along pretty good 👍 That’s rad you got that old engine running well. I kind of like the Kawasaki tank but really ether will be good. Looking forward to seeing your next video!
Dang the Kawasaki gas tank certainly modernize it and that’s not a bad thing, but that vintage look you’re speaking of me quite good tooo! Darn I’m also torn😅😂
So some year back I got a go-kart with an 8hp Briggs and stratton. it was missing the intake carburetor and muffler. I built an intake and header pipe for it with a motor cycle carburetor. The intake was a straight pipe with the same i.d. as the intake port. It really woke the old heavy motor up. It ended up being really fast.
Take off the badge on ether sides of the tank and paint it whatever color you want to go with, maybe army green, with the star on both sides of the tank, but make it all look vintage.
It was under license from b+s Briggs made that engine from 60 to about 82 . Use a fuel shutoff on the down draft carb, You can turn 3600rpms with it if you go above that it likes to crack pistons Been in the buss, for 55+ years doing small engines Have fun Geist Wulf Cycle Werks
Definitely use the actual motorcycle fuel tank, but without Kawersaki labels, and matt black, you could make an awesome exhaust for it, but make sure you use 30w oil 🤗
Hey Oliver, how feasible is something like this built around a Kawasaki FR730V-500 or a Kawasaki FS600V (Riding/commercial lawn mowers)? Please let me know as i have both of these and am planning on building my own trash bike. Thanks man! Your videos are inspiring!
Difficult choice with the gas tank, the kawasaki has a nice shape, but looks too new. Maybe make it a little "older" Fun to follow your engine builds, you have humor and knowledge. /Per Lidberg Sweden
could use an old heinz ketchup can as a fuel tank? they hold near a gallon... have to eat it all first... if that one is the same size as one i have, it is a 310cc right? an old Sears rototiller engine.
tire bad for fitting, true rim good for fitting. If you can take the wheels off and reset your jig to check it you might want to. Rims give more of a precision measurement/reference.
@OliverMotorized oh wicked. Just be careful with the paperwork, I got a moped from out of state with a signed title (the title has other problems besides being out of state) and it, being a moped, was never inspected when the title was issued so now not only does the vin need verified, it also needs to pass inspection before I can register it. I was thinking to just hobble it together and run it illegally till someone said something.
part 2: th-cam.com/video/rOLZVdFzjAo/w-d-xo.html&ab_channel=OliverMotorized
I was wondering... thanks again Oliver
Yeah exactly.. I was about to say why isnt it a part 2?!
Man I've been here so long I'm just happy you started posting again always loved your builds
You look like Frenchie fries
my bro in christ, if it don't have pedals it ain't cool. XD
Kawasaki tank looks pretty good on it.
With a rusted patina. 👍
Fr
Motorcycle style gas tank It gives it a Frankenstein/rat Rod style look very unique
I think you guys are convincing me to do the kawasaki tank !
These honest build videos make me feel better about the process, and having to do things multiple times...
you learn more from failure than success i really enjoy your content keep it up
Cool using that old engine, they do weigh a ton, but lots of torque.
Coming along pretty good 👍
That’s rad you got that old engine running well. I kind of like the Kawasaki tank but really ether will be good. Looking forward to seeing your next video!
Thanks mike!
The first ever video i saw making a motorcycle no cap.
I've been doing builds like this with old mx dirt bikes. I call them adult mini bikes lol it's a cool idea for bikes with no engines
Dang the Kawasaki gas tank certainly modernize it and that’s not a bad thing, but that vintage look you’re speaking of me quite good tooo! Darn I’m also torn😅😂
Some of your previous works look pretty cool, exited to see where this goes!
I vote for the older tank, fits better with the rest of the bike

Nice, I was thinking about doing that with this, and throwing a Mikuni on there or something - but I want to see how the stock motor does first.

Square tank gives a very appropriate rat rod vibe 👌🏼
Incredible video. My favorite channel
Your video's make me wanne try some stuff myself, good video!
Love the old original square tank. As you said, it gives it that old military vibe.
I hope I didn't miss the opinion I'd use the white gas tank because it makes it look military I agree and I think that looks awesome
This is great man! You have a similar build process to me, as in none lol Just start and see where it goes 👍🏻
Bolt the old square tank on the triple clamp with a headlight underneath. Keep the back bone open.
I like that idea
@@OliverMotorized Thanks 😊
I like your vids 🫂 work safe 🙂
Subscribed...looks like a very cool build
Thanks for the sub!
That's cool...looking forward to following along with this build..cheers

the kawasaki tank definitely looks better!!!!

New build hell yeah! 😎

I vote Kawasaki
I like the square tank
Like i was saying before your video got deleted for some reason by the looks your engine shoud be a montgomery 8.5 hp 320cc or 7.5 hp 252cc.
Yeah, there was a copy right claim - Thanks for re-commenting! appreciate the info.

Maybe I can beat up the Kawasaki tank a bit haha
@@OliverMotorized grind it down and let it rust on the outside, then some linseed oil or similar on maybe..
11:10 Square 1920s boardtrack racer style?
Kawasaki tank, also road trip! (Re-comment blasted copyright trolls)
2:45 OH NO! Oliver is backfiring!
Use the frame as a tank like the Bmx Cub.
That would be cool! probably wouldn't hold much for long trips though lol
She chewch good!
She did!
Oliver Where have you been ?I like the blue tank .
How many CCs does this thing have? Looks huge
There was a comment that suggested it is a 320CC. but I am not 100% sure.

I am not sure of the size of this engine. and couldn't find much looking online. Love the idea.
Harbor freight should seriously look into sponsoring you...
SUBCRIBED!
Thanks man!

go with the old square tank.....looks like a mad max bike
I prefer the original gas tank. Fits the aesthetic better
I thought I blocked you
lol jk
you should use a pepsi bottle as a fuel tank, fits how scuffed everything is
Kawasaki tank for sure. The other one looks out of place.
Thanks for the vote!
Took me a whole three minutes before I was like, Hey, I´ve seen this already:p Also, fuck modern, go full grunge/vintage tank!
lol thanks for watching again
Vintage gas tank for sure
Neither tank looks right, maybe go.for a cylindrical, slim tank mounted horizontally
That would look cool!
Original tank looks cooler to me
Would you sell this once it’s complete and if so for how much?
I'm not sure, I want to get it street legal, and ride it around a bit
is diessel engine ?
Nope gasoline
So I know this is garage fiddling but is any of this going to end with something street legal or is making it street legal not even worth it?
Good question: the front forks were off of a Kawasaki with a valid VIN - so the plan is to apply for a lost title and get this thing registered.

I forgot about onan engines. yes that is a onan engine. hold on to it forever.
it's def a treasure
🇧🇷 Montgomery
I say use the kawasaki tank if possible
Sounds like most people are tending that way
@OliverMotorized yeah but what do we know, we're just a bunch of A-holes😂✌️ its your toy make it how you want ✌️✌️
u need to post more fr
Kawasaki tank plZ
use the kawasaki tank
you might like my Diecycle.
Nice!
Hello
do it anyway you want it. that is a old monkey ward engine i dont know who made it briggs or techumseh. still wish you lived in my neighborhood.
The plate says Onan Montgomery but was made in Brazil. maybe an old knock-off of a Briggs
