- Hello everyone, here is the second part of my homemade motorcycle build. I am using an old Onan Mongomery, single-cylinder 4 stroke engine as the heart. The front forks, wheels and swing arm are from a Kawasaki as well as some other components that I'll add in the coming parts. In this part I get it to a point where I can test drive it. there's still a lot to do! Thanks for watching!
Generator that i'll be using in the next episode: www.amazon.com/dp/B07S8NBNCP?... - ยานยนต์และพาหนะ
See part 1: th-cam.com/video/wsfh0LJaguY/w-d-xo.html&ab_channel=OliverMotorized
The rugged stripped/bobber styling really works well with the flathead motors sound and look on the bike. It’s got an industrial air to it, would look really cool painted in some early 30s bike colours and dirty whitewalls
Thanks, these old single cylinders hold a special place lol
OLIVER = that is one bad looking bike, like something out of "Mad Max". Really like the look of that bike.
sounds good. i almost gave up on you its been awhile. cant wait for part 3.
don't give up! lol thanks for stickin' through
Looking pretty rad! Nice work, sounds good too 😊👍
Thanks Mike!
Epic ! big wheel rup style snowmobile cvt looks and sounds classic .
Like your idea about the original tank. Glad you were able to work it in, and I agree the blue tank looks better.
thanks, seemed like more people agreed on the k-tank in the last video too
Oliver! Always an exciting day when you drop a video.
Friggen sweet 👌
It's a masterpiece!!!
Heck yeah OM
Miss the days when you uploaded more regularly !!
same here lol
Looks like you,re doing a good job!
Thumbs up.
Thanks 👍
I like the saddlebag tank, Oliver. That worked out much better.
Just a bit more work for it to be street legal. One day!
haha that's the plan - we'll see
Awesome! Looks like your most comfortable/ergonomic build yet.
That is cool. Its got a kinda fallout wasteland vibe to it.
I could see that.
Cool deal bud, cool bike!
Brilliant!
Mr. Oliver, 1st, thanks for serving in the military with honor! 2nd, congrats on the missus, I must have missed that detail somehow. 3rd, your builds get better & more refined. The good equipment you invested in really adds to the higher quality of the builds. Thanks for sharing Bro.. Paul from S. Central Tx..
Thanks Paul!
Spectacular job Brother thank you for sharing your knowledge and expertise and hello 👋 from romulus Michigan
thank you sir
looks awesome!
Nice build ❤
Looks great, give that tank a patina and then it's chiefs kiss
yeah I need to rough it up a bit huh
Love it, man, runs great
Cool nice job. I always wanted to use an old Harley 3 speed with that setup
I wanted to use a 3 speed too! but too expensive I thought
Omg I been waiting 🙀🩷🩷
considering the centrifugal clutch and pull start I'd go for a center stand instead of a kick stand.
The first video of yours I seen was 2018 or 2019 when I was working at hillcrest hospital. In glad your started making videos again brother. I have a channel similar to this.
Instantly subscrd. Great stuff you do there! Keep on coming the stylish 2 wheelers!!
👍
nice work mr jack shaft dude :P
I really like how you envision things, and then make them fit and work. This came together so well. Thanks Oliver. Would you please include a link to the 'generator' you'll be using? it looks lie something we,as "motorized Bike' people could adapt.
appreciate it! yeah, I''ll throw the link in the description. I believe it's a John deere clone.
Looks awesome, I like the more basic tools and using scraps. Unlike other youtubers who got sponsors or alot of money/tools where its not really relatable to things regular people can build/have.
this one has been a medley of scraps and some plasma cutting haha.
@@OliverMotorized thats what makes it cool
Grocery list coming up
Performance mods on this engine, homemade of course.
More 2 stroke content!
Shop Tour!
Hows the little lady doing?
How can we help you?
This is the first video of your that I've watched. How have I never come across your stuff? I'm heavy TH-cam consumer. it looks like we are into similar things. I subbed to keep following the bike build. Good video. You might snag up a little safety gear but to each his own my man.
much appreciated!
Well. I've got a good lightly used Onan engine. Just that I'm planning on building the same thing with it. Reason I watched your channel. Need to find a motorcycle frame.
nice, I really like this old thumper - starts first pull nearly every time.
I love this, it looks great, moves nicely and i want one for my self! tankbag fits really nice and you didn't even mention how nice the throttle arm/cable design came out. if i can be constructive tho, that kawa tank will crack, can't think of any production bike with a solid mounted tank, and that ones been designed for cushy rubbers to hold it.
thanks for the comment, where do you think it's most likely to crack? maybe I can do something to avoid it.
@@OliverMotorized everywhere, the cups at the front fit onto a kinda rubber mushroom on a bike frame, on the back of tank, similar deal but it more like a block of rubber, nothing special in the rubber department, maybe 20mm think
plz post more
como esse motor foi parar ai? esse motor é brasileiro lol
I have a question. I’m working on a motorcycle myself using an old 14 hp engine. I have it running a 30 series torque convertor and it’s struggling to turn the rear wheel even with it lifted off the ground. The engine sounds like it’s struggling to turn it. What’s going on?
tylertatman925, I suspect carburetor/fuel system problems. Does it rev up quick when disconnected from the clutch & drivetrain. Maybe clean out the carburetor, jet & emulsion tube with carb cleaner spray. Have a carb rebuild kit ready to install. Then purchase fresh, NON-Ethanol gasoline from walmart/murphy or QT gas stations. A few murphys have it at the pump. All QT's have it at the middle pumps, but outer pumps (on the ends) have diesel. Add fuel stabilizer & marvel mystery oil to that New, non-ethanol gas can & then fill up the can. Remove & clean out your machines gas tank, (incuding the fuel outlet & hose with compressed air), install a new plastic see-thru fuel filter after the petcoock valve on the tank. Ever rebuild a carburetor before? No? Watch youtube subject: how to rebuild a lawn mower carburetor (at least 4 popular videos). Give it a try! Good luck! Paul from S. Central Tx..
Wow thanks for the advice!
I think Paul just about covered it! maybe you just have an atrocious gear ratio haha! best of luck
Спереди бак должен надеваться на круглые резинки,надетые на штыри рамы.А у тебя там стальные шайбы,бак будет греметь и протрется до дыр.
yeah, I'll steal the ones off the original bike
How is it geared ?
it using whatever gear range the 30 series torque converter (from go power sports) has, then the same gear ratio as the original bike, so I think 16 tooth driven to 42 on the rear wheel
You checked for fumes with a torch!?! That’s the stupidest thing I’ve ever seen.
just trying to burn them off before welding. didn't really work though
I reall respect the craftsmanship... But your bikes are ugly.
You must work on the aesthetic more
