I dont know how i didnt find this channel sooner. This is heaven for home garage fabricators. I love the clever drivetrain setups and simple multi speed transmissions. Gonna binge watch ALL of this available!
I would have kept the Briggs. A 5hp is over 200 cc I believe on the flat head briggs. I would have kept the original and ripped the governor off and cleaned the carb and go way faster.
The briggs is 198 ccs if I remember right but it also only has one gear. That thing might only have 110 but has a pressure oiling system, built for high long term rpms, and a cvt built in. My son's little 110 4 wheeler runs off and leaves his cousin on his 212 (no gov) go kart.
@@OliverMotorized If i remember right you have your belt setup where you have to press a lever to engage the drive? I can see why that would be tiring, but a belt clutch normally works like most manual clutches where you press to disengage. It's more pleasurable to ride a bike that is set up that way for sure.
Awesome alterations to the bike. You do a great job editing as well. As far as the ad. We all got bills to pay so, why not. Keep building, your style is coming together.

Right at the end of your ad plug when you rub this on your hands saying you never wear gloves anyway as you appear to scratch your neck like the chemicals just kicked in . Lmao. Awesome bike , if it's free I'll pay postage and packaging to my home . 🤣😉
Need to upgrade that welder man. I got a amico power 3-1 welder for around 500 online. You'll love welding with gas instead of that messy flux core welder. It's more expensive but better looking welds and better penetration. Comon who doesn't love better penetration lol. Great builds tho! Awesome content. Look into getting a body mic it'll improve your audio on the videos. They seem quite quiet
@@OliverMotorized it's not really you can buy a small tank outright for like 150 and the fills are like 15-20 depending on the gas and size. You can lease a large tank that will refill the small one a few times and one fill will run for a while. I used one fill for about 1-2 months
I'm building my own out of a 59 Norman of England bike (has pinned pedal cranks instead of a single casting so the shaft can be used as the jack shaft for running the original chain setup), a 2.5 hp briggs, and a belt clutch similar to yours. I'd share a pic of my progress but sadly I can't add an image in a comment.
Let me tell you something dude,,.. me and you were cast in the same mold. Your cinema graphic style along with the catchy and rhythmic sound track, plus your dramatic acting, all kinda slightly downplay your exceptional mechanical amplitude. Two things...Thin paint, like they throw on thousands of bikes isn't that bad to weld ,it usually burns off ahead of the white-hot weld.THE OTHER THING....I have a peeve about the question I hear often at the gatherings around whichever bike I choose to go to lunch on..,"How often do you burn your leg on that exhaust"?(unless your leg is broken, deformed,or maybe that isnt your leg, YOUR THIGH WILL BE OUT IN FRONT FIRST,THEN YOUR CALF WILL GO DOWN TO THE PEDALS.(whew!) I think the one let down of this whole video is the 1 second flash where you dissed the far superior metric system
