    How the hell does this channel only have 1k subs? It has the quality of a >300k channel. From technical stuff like the background and animations, to his personality, he is so relaxed and funny as if he had spent years making videos

    This was a perfect comparison video. You didn’t go into to much depth of what is going on, but it worked with just the things that I needed to know!
    And you actually sectioning out the parts of which you talk about in this video... OMG!!!! It allowed me to get to the points that I actually wanted to know! So thank you very
    Not a lot of the videos section it out like that, but it is surprisingly VERY NEEDED! Big time ssaver

      Thanks for the kind words Micah, glad you found the video useful and your support is super appreciated! Definitely timestamping is the way to go, I think it's a little tedious that's why most TH-camrs don't do it, but I personally find it super useful on other videos, so thought I'd do the same.

    Being a new PM, I obviously looking for a good software… Yes Trello is great for… simple things, Monday when things become more “rock & roll”…

  • @ChrisDrift
    @ChrisDrift 3 ปีที่แล้ว +6

    There is a free plan for Monday btw. They call it the individual plan and it's free for up to 2 people and up to 200 tasks. Maybe that didn't exist when you made this video but definitely worth noting

    • @RoryKnighton
      @RoryKnighton  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      True - this is relatively new, wasn't around when I did my review. But they still don't list the free plan as an option on their pricing page, it's pretty hidden - you have to go looking for it, and the feature set is super limited. So feels like an afterthought and a little disingenuous. Trello heros their free plan, whereas Monday.com leans away from it.

    • @ultraSabotaj

      Thanks for the kind words dude. Absolutely, no money changed hands on this one. It's just my two cents (pun intended) on which works for me and what might work for other people. • @RoryKnighton
      @RoryKnighton  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Very simply, because 90% of people don't watch to the sign off, especially with the introduction of chapters to skip ahead to a point of interest. It's the only realistic opportunity to engage and capture their interest as most viewers are already thinking about the next video they want to watch in the first few seconds of the current video. There's some interesting articles on the subject if you're interested. Hope that helps.

      Hey glad you enjoyed it. As I said in the review, I'm not an expert in learning styles and there's conflicting information on the subject. However regardless of the actuality of learning styles, people still have preferences on how they like to learn, so whether or not a placebo, people still have a preference for how the work and take in information.

    Learning styles have been debunked

    • @RoryKnighton
      @RoryKnighton  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Things get "debunked" and "unbunked" so much it becomes tiring. Doesn't stop people from having a preference of how they like to learn or work. Whether or not it's demonstrable that people work/learn better in different formats is really irrelevant if it boils down to personal preference/taste/choice. It's like debunking people preferring vanilla to chocolate ice cream - pointless.

      Thanks for the words of encouragement Paul. That's why I added the handy chapters at the bottom, so you can skip right to the end and miss out on all the waffle. 👌
