    Great video! Thank you very much for your great work. It´s great you gave us an insight as to all that can be done with Asana, but concentrated on the basics. The only thing that would be nice to know as well, are the limits of the paid version, as a lot of the features you show are with a paid version. (My only comment is that I just found the background music very distracting, until I finally got used to it). ;)

    I'm new to Asana, thanks for this great tutorial! I'm trying to set up "teams" as each of my clients, but it won't let me add teams like you are doing at minute 17. I don't have a plus next to the Team or the option to create a team when clicking the red +. Is it a paid feature maybe?

    • @MarquisMurray
      @MarquisMurray  5 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Hey, great question. You’re likely on the free plan. That plan allows for one shared team with everyone in your space. You’d have to go one tier up to unlock more features.

    Hi mate. I have just started using Asana and I want to build it to monitor my KPIs. How do I do that? I don’t see how I can use it to monitor safety and quality KPIS (percentages, money savings, how many inspections done per month, etc).

    • @MarquisMurray
      @MarquisMurray  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hey there, thanks for watching!
      In order to create accurate and useful dashboards, in your case to visualize KPIs, you need to have all the information living in the projects. The way to do that would be by adding the right Custom Fields to every project.
      I believe these videos might be useful for you:

    • @MarquisMurray
      @MarquisMurray  5 หลายเดือนก่อน

    This is very helpful, thanks! My Custom Sections looks different than yours and for some reason the section headers won't slip and slide around like they did in your video. Did Asana remove this functionality? It's disappointing because the sections now don't make chronological sense.

    Our organization consists of a large design team. Our design team consists of sub teams, UX Team, UI Team, UXR Team, UXW Team, SD Team, Dev Team, PO Team.
    All these teams are working on a Mobile App.
    When setting up a project, how to do we connect or assign specific teams to a project?

    • @MarquisMurray
      @MarquisMurray  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hey, thanks for watching!
      You can only assign one "Asana Team" to a project in Asana. However, if you want people from multiple teams as members of one specific project, you have to create the project in a particular team and then manually add members from other teams.
      Now, if you need to move the project to another team, simply go to the project details
      (click the arrow next to the project's name and select "Edit project details") and switch the team.
      Hope this helps!

    I like your explanation. Do you have videos on how to make a project work as a template so one doesn’t need to purchase asana right away? Also curious if you have any examples for setting up for bookkeepers. Thanks again

    • @MarquisMurray
      @MarquisMurray  2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Hi Audrey, thanks for watching!
      Great question. If you want to have a project as a "Template" without actually being a template, you should:
      1. Create a project, add the sections, tasks, and any additional information.
      2. Next step, rename the project to easily identify it as a "Template".
      3. Every time you need to use it, just Duplicate the project.
      I don't think we have any videos for bookkeeping, but I'll add that idea to our list.
      Hope this helps!

    • @MarquisMurray
      @MarquisMurray  หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Hey Dwayne, thanks for watching!
      Not necessarily, Asana does offer the flexibility to choose which organization, team, or division the paid subscription covers. So you could have a paid subscription for your management team while other teams remain on the free tier.
      Take a look at this article for more clarity: help.asana.com/hc/en-us/articles/14217067617051-Asana-subscriptions-and-pricing

    Seems like a great tool. Video "a must guide for all beginners" - Overwhelming for a beginner user and one who is not a native tech person; speed was way to fast; takeaways: there is a lot of stuff to learn and not much remembered. Speaker could share how long it might actually take to learn all this material. If I was going to redo this video, I'd take half as long, go over the highlights rather than click and show every option.
