Those Captain's Logs were hilarious (as are Olimar and Louie's voices). Why he never thought to keep an eye on Louie each time is beyond me. It took 2 and a half games time for 3 strangers to finally make the good decision of tying Louie up.

Each year I rewatch this series and you know what? Even though this is my 4th time watching this, it hasn’t gotten boring nor do I think it will ever get boring, I’ve loved these games so much, so I have you to thank for these amazing memories Emile, goodbye.
As I've gotten older it's been harder to make time to watch all of your videos, just because jobs and school have seemed to take priority. This is the first lo of yours that I've watched in its entirety in years, the first one that I've made sure to take time to watch, mostly because of our mutual love for this series. Emile, you were the first LPer I subscribed to, and you are still my favorite. So I just want to thank you for the memories - old, new, and yet to come - that I have the pleasure to recall.

I know people often put stuff like this at the start of a let’s play playlist, but I really have to thank this playlist for truly getting 12 year old me to broaden my gaming horizons beyond just playing Mario games. I had no clue what a pikmin game was and this series not only showed me but hooked me. So much that like I said on a comment on episode 1, this has to be my most watched series of chugga’s if not all of TH-cam. So thank you chugga for not only such a great and enjoyable let’s play but truly opening up my eyes to so many types of games over the years including many of my favourite games ever. @@cypher838They're the opening cutscenes to each of the Olimar's Assignment missions in 3 Deluxe. The last one is just used as the ending to those missions. Louie's log is still unused though.

I think the moderate ending, thematically, is the best one. The entire reason there was a food shortage was because their people had poor planning for the future and ended up putting themselves in a bad position for not conserving their resources. Throughout the game the characters (and through them, the player) learn the importance of strategy and long-term planning, considering this is an RTS-lite, after all. Their main flaw, lack of foresight, is redeemed throughout the game as their improved strategic abilities are what allow them to win, which acts as a contrast to their species' failure to do so on their home planet. So, the ending reflects this gain of skill and knowledge by stating that a successful resolution can only be obtained by continuing to work hard and use their gained skills, as well as teaching their people the same values. I think this fits much better than the good ending, which is just, yay you did such a good job, don't even worry about it, everyone is fine.
What a great way to pull off a Bonus Episode, Chugga. I wasn't sure how a bonus episode of this would work, but this contains so many interesting things I never would have known about on my own. This Let's Play was beautiful, and a great way to give us fans a perfect example of your work. Your Let's Plays are always amazing, no matter what it is, and this one truly proves it. Wow when my wife and I played through Olimar's missions in Pikmin 3 deluxe, we quickly noticed that Olimar was saying the exact same thing in his intros, so we assumed the text was the same, he was just in a different location everytime. So we watched the first one, and skipped the rest. Never knowing how most people only got to see 1 per playthrough on the original version.

I'm not sure about the 3rd game, but in the 2nd game, it wasn't the president's fault. It was *[SPOILERS]* Louie's fault. He essentially ate a very valuable piece of cargo and blamed it on space rabbit pirates so he wouldn't get fired.
In pikmin 3 deluxe, the cutscenes starting at 6:29 can be seen when you unlock Olimar's Mission after you do something in the game (I think its rescuing charlie from the vehemoth vosbat). However, Louie's Expidition Log still goes unused.

I was never able to beat Prime 100%, could never find those last few missiles and such. It would be nice to see a series-type of thing, like how he played the Paper Mario's and the Pikmin's in order. Prime, Prime 2, etc.

I was never able to beat Prime 100%, could never find those last few missiles and such.

I rented this game because I don't own it yet and I was stuck with the controls where you have to touch the gamepad screen to throw Pikmin and I was stuck on the armored mawdad
