I'm amazed at how similar Ethiopian food is to Indian food conceptually.
Historically Ethiopia was a hub of the spice trade and merchants leaving India to go west would arrive in Ethiopia, Persia or Egypt
We have an amazing Ethiopian community here in my hometown of Perth, Western Australia. My wife and I go to their restaurant semi frequently because we love the food... I'm gonna have to see if these dishes are on the menu now!
Thank you for the video. Growing up watching my mom’s love and patience that goes into Ethiopian cooking warms my heart 💚 💛 ❤
I love Ethiopian food!!
My best friend Endawork Desta introduced me to Ethiopian cuisine. He doesn't cook so I'll make these dishes (luckily there's an Ethiopian market near me) for him soon, thank you so much!
I have heard nothing but great things about Ethiopian food. Unfortunately for me I have never tried it but it looks delicious! And the I love how spice is part of the culture. Definitely going to try some Ethiopian food soon. Thank you!
its very similar to indian food
Love how authentic this is! Keep this series up!
Ethiopian food is going to be the food of the future, mark my words. It's nutritious, delicious, requires no utensils and very little clean-up, and best of all: a sizeable part of it is completely vegan.
There is more to life than hamburgers, hot dogs and pizza...will try to make this. Thank you for sharing.
dont tell my mother and her husband that, they think frozen fish sticks is high class.
This is a novelty. Hamburgers are better.
Chicken Tibs! Omg. Yes please! I've had tibs a thousand time and never herd of Doro Tibs. We will be making this soon
Great Video! I knew nothing about Ethiopian Cuisine! Thanks a lot for the enlightment
Looks tasty. I enjoyed the history lesson, it s a really cool fact that Ethiopia has never been colonized.
I'm really proud to watch our cuisine on my favorite food channel, especially with the gorgeous chef😍😅

The proliferation of chili peppers, which are native to North and South America, has made an incalculable contribution to cuisines throughout the world. Thank you to the Americas! 🌶️♥️
This looks very yummy mmm
Amazing
I had a favorite Ethiopian restaurant in Berkeley that I used to go to and when I moved away I had to learn how to make the dishes myself. I still order the injera online though, to make it just a little easier 😊
i want some of that
Wow
I’m so early love Epicurious
Wow! Keep your over-confident bro's doing nachos -- more global variety like this please epicurious. This was incredible!
Spiced clarified butter. Never tought of such a genius thing.
I remember when I first went to an Etiopian restaurant, I had to ask the waiter how can I eat it since I didn't get any forks.
All that aside I really like how presentational focus is Ethiopian cuisine.
would love to her and Saul do a show together.

Where’s the ingredients list?
Just here to say that even though the tomato is a staple in Italian cuisine, it is actually native to South America and México (North America). The Americas gave the tomato to the world.
Not all Ethiopian are influenced by Christian culture.i like the cooking tho
you can tell she gets high on kaat
Wth???
@@naomiarram5187 , my mistake, it is spelled khat.
@@WaterMalone42 I understood what you meant - it's not an English word, so there's no real correct spelling ( you can spell it "qat" as well). My question was what made you say that.
@@naomiarram5187 , her emaciated "I am da camptan nao" look on her face.
Please removed nail polish before cooking
It ain't gonna affect the food dude
what a weird comment
Please refer to food hygiene standards
@@angelinasmith5363 please learn that her nails do absolutely nothing to the food and actually look smart
@@angelinasmith5363 she is cooking comfortably for herself in a youtube video to educate on Eritrean cuisine, not cooking professionally for guests. you can create your own hygiene standards when you are cooking for urself
