Sorry for my silly question but I’m new to the game. If I understand correctly then if I have my first character at cp 300 then all I need to do is level my second character to 50 and once it reaches 50 he is automatically cp 300. Is this correct? So I can immidiate start wearing Armor cp160.
One thing I would add, for a new character, don't buy any bag upgrades until you get the first one which you'll get for free as part of the "new character level" rewards. If you have purchased it already, you can't get the free upgrade.
i basically quit the game about a month after it came out. I was super frustrated/didn't know what the heck to do/was dying all the time. I came back in the summer of 2016, watched some Deltia videos that put me on the right track. But i watched a LOT of videos. It's both cool and frustrating...it's kind of like ESO wants to push people into Guilds in order to show people the ropes. If you didn't "research" the game or join a guild and tried doing the game blind???? wow, that'd be super frustrating.
For part 3 ; undaunted (passive must haves), legerdemain (getting quick money early and why you should loot chests totally), free polymorph and free pet in base game, addons, hidden buffs and blessings from npc's.
I kid you not the first time this happened to me everything kinda froze & I was like...did someone use a time stop ability....then when I came to i was dead
These guides help me SO much. I just got into ESO on PS4, and it rules. I’m a baby lvl 30, and these guides are a Godsend. Really helps me so I seem like I know what I’m doing in this game LMAO.

Adding to tip 1: You can also travel to any group dungeon or trial by clicking on the symbol on your world map. However, then leaving the dungeon/trial through its entrance will not put you in that dungeons/trials zone, but rather back to the point you initially fast traveled from. So no chance to use those as bootleg wayshrines.
A simple creation of a character in each alliance with skipped tutorial, can easily do the quest for a free inn, and i believe those are open to any character, opening up each allience territory for any character.
@@oliviersandre1997 Don't do this at all just join 1-2 big guilds 9/10 times multiple people are where you need to go sometimes at the exact place too.
A little extra tip: You can also fast trave for free to any houses you own - and when you exit, you end up in the exact zone and spot where the house is. I do this all the time to craft in Vvardenfell, no matter where my toons are.
Don’t know if I missed it but from what I understand is for CP if your putting points in a star, for example up to 12.17% if you put any points into that and it doesn’t hit 13. Your wasting points. The reason is it always goes to the base number. So 12.17 is actually just 12%. 12.85% would still only be 12%
Its called jump points Not all of the Champion points are affected by jump points tho For example all of the red tree is affected by jump points But only about half of the green tree is And the rounding is brutal 12.1 rounds to 12 12.9 rounds to 12 And the kicker: 13.00 rounds to 12
On PC, the dialog options are actually numbered even though the game UI doesn't show it. So, you can tap 1 for the first option, or 2 for the second option, and so on, if you would rather not use the mouse.
Since you mentioned Soul Gems, it's probably worth mentioning that they're useless until you fill them. And, you use the Soul Trap ability to fill them. In your skill tree it's World Skills-Soul Magic-Soul Trap. Cast Soul Trap on an enemy and you steal his soul if he dies while the ability is active.
Funny enough, I've been following one of your builds for an archer and was wondering why Volley was such a pain in the butt to use, and how I wanted to play an archer, but that slow cast drove me crazy... now I know. I'm glad I try not to miss your videos, lol
In regards to the bag slots, there's normally a limit of 200 slots total regardless of how you get your slots. However if you get an inventory pet, all characters get an extra 5 slots for each pet and your slot limit is increased for all characters on your account. There are two inventory pets, the Bristleneck War Board and Mournhold Packrat, getting both of those increase your bag limit to 210.

Buy Empty soul gems and go kill mudcrabs to fill 'em up... You used to be able to just use "Soul Trap" on random animals instead of attacking them, but ZOS took that out...
@@The_Vegan_Punk1967 it depends, cause sometimes the time you use to farm them on dolmens you could have used to get money and buy way more of them, but its always optional, buy or farm.
@@ItzGenesis Exactly. I can get a whole stack of soul gems filled faster than I can get a full stack from a dolmen. Not to mention dolmen farming and selling the sets at guild traders for a profit doesn't always guarantee a sale. I don't even buy empties. I just do my crafting dailies and I've over 3k empties just sitting in my mule bank along with 1.5k filled. This isn't counting what's spread out between my characters either.
Good job, Hack. I'd add that fast traveling to a house you own is always free. Also, when leveling up a weapon skill, have that weapon equipped when you turn in quests. (You can also have skills equipped for weapons that you're not using, if you want to spread the XP around rather than concentrate it.)
Dunno if anyone covered this, or if Zen changed it, but if you're doing Dark Brotherhood stuff, you'll need that Attack Innocents off to be able to use Blade of Woe for Litany of Blood.

Do take note that if you turn on prevent attacking innocent feature, you won't be able to use the blade of woe, vampire feed synergy as well. You use to not be able to defend yourself against neutral/friendly NPC turned hostile (example if you're caught performing necromancy in town, but they removed that in recent patches. )
Great video! Maybe in the next one you can mention how there is kind of a built in skill advisor. Where you can choose what way you wanna play and eso will recommend skills to acquire. I thought that was really cool when I finally noticed it.
Fastest way (imo) for collecting soul gems is doing the dolmens in the Aliki's Desert. The chests drop filled soul gems pretty often, and there's plenty of enemies to use to fill up the empty ones you get. Only problem is that getting to the Aliki'r Desert for the first time on a toon can be a huge pain.
One tip I want to mention myself as a level 13 character who hasn't even unlocked my weapon swaps on pc yet: If you download add ons, some of them may require other add ons to function, I had no idea this was a thing and had to figure it out the hard way. For example I browsed steam's forums and found a link to an add on manager called Minion and I wanted to start with one small feature: sky shard icons on the map. I downloaded the add on and then it appeared on the game in red text, it said it needed "libraries" to work. I had no idea what that was, from my understanding it's similar to a bike. If you want a bike you'll need wheels and a chain and a set of handlebars etc. to have a proper bike. So in order to get your "bike" to work, you need the components for it to work. I had to download the proper libraries from the Minion client and now the sky shard add on works perfectly, it even has a proximity feature similar to vanilla icons on the overhead compass. idk if this counts as some kind of third party shady thing, I'm just trying to be helpful since modding is a big part of pc gaming and I'm hoping this reaches anyone who's stuck on level 0 like I am

Need to add one quick thing: DON'T buy an inventory upgrade until you get the one in the level up reward. It will pay for the first one, but if you already brought one yourself, it WON'T give you an upgrade, even though it says it did. The same thing applies to the bank upgrades. You're only saving a few gold, but it's still worth knowing.
This game feels super cryptic to beginners. I still die all the time because the game doesn't tell you shit about its systems and mechanics. Thank you for these two videos. They help a lot.

One big tip I would give anyone is to buy as many houses as you can(not including the crown exclusive ones). Houses are free wayshrines and they're automatically available when you start a new toon. The staple homes are dirt cheap

Title is a little off. As eso Home page has guides that tell you all this as well, just have to look for it. In there beginning guides. You can pretty much find everything in there. But I think what you’re doing is great, as you explain it really good. Keep it up 😃
You can also Fast Travel to any home you own for free, but it does count towards a second fast travel if you are not at a Shrine. On Soul Gems, they are cheaper if you buy them from a Mystic NPC merchant than a regular merchant.
I know another tip about the gear: that you can't repair staves. You need to charge them with soul gem - thats how you repair them. I figured it out somehow😆. Its true there is not much explanation in this game. Like me(I play totaly alone) I am champion 203 and I have never done writs😳still don't know what they are, where and what for they are really tbh - I just heard about them on yt🤣 And as for Summerset event😳It took me time to figure out the feathers/berries system🤦🏻♀️and the fact that you need to buy those as you can have with you only up to 12 tickets in total😳🤯🤣
writs are daily crafting quests that you can do for rewards like materials and such related to crafting but they only become available once you get certified..it's been ages since I did it so I forget their names but its a dark elf man and wood elf woman in your starting zone and I believe main city in dlc zones...do their small side quests teaching you the basics to get certified
Danel telleno for the consumable access, and millineth for equipment writs, you find them in the starter zones of your alliance, oh and the guy in Summerset by the crafting area unlocks jewelry writs.
No mention of using housing as a fast/free means of teleportation and its effect on the cost of teleporting to wayshrines from anywhere there after. I use housing for teleporting for free from the backend of dungeons. Also bank space can be increased through housing using chests. One comes for free at level 18, giving an extra 30 storage slots, like bank slots. If you do master writs, you can earn writ vouchers and purchase 3 more small chests and 4 more large, increasing your storage capacity by a whopping 360 slots, which is 150% more storage than the bank, without the ESO membership. So without membership, that's 600 storage slots and with membership 840. One house comes for free through a quest.
I remember the first time I realized that my equipment needed to be repaired. I had been fighting Faolchu in the castle and died repeatedly with no chance of winning. After like the fifth time I saw the death tip that said I may need to repair my armor. It was all at 0! so once I had it all repaired I knocked him right out.
Another travel tip, if you have a house you can travel to it from anywhere for free, even with a character that's never been to that house. You can buy a house in a zone you've never been in and then travel to it and all characters on your account can use it.
About the champion points, originally only the first character that reached level 50 could earn champion points but that was later changed. I have 2 level 50's and they both earn points added together, however I don't know it that will apply to all level 50's on the same account.
Video talking about mages/fighters guild and outlying skill lines for leveling, but no mention that 1) fighter, mages and undaunted all level in specific ways that don't have to do with slotting abilities and 2) proc'ing quests in mages and fighters guilds depends on your level in the skill lines. Get those purple books, yall!
Being of the PC Gaming Master Race, I don't need to worry about not attacking innocents, since the only way to mix up "E" and "L-Click" is to do it on purpose. :P Everything else is great, though! My Templar is around level 32, and things are getting messy. I'll probably start (another) alt to take better advantage of the things I'm learning.
Fast travel to other plays _is_ free, but it _still triggers the pay-a-lot cooldown!_ If you try to travel to a wayshrine from anywhere except a wayshrine, it will cost you more for ten minutes.
I have been playing since 2015 and there are a few things I did not know... Nothing is more frustrating than the Psijic Order line. I'm now closing portals in the Bay of (don't remember the name) and Level 1 is still not available. Really frustrating
The Psijic Order Line quest has sent me to close the portals in Western(I think) Skyrim which I don't have on the map and now what? - I' stuck with this😕😭
Whats the cheapest way to play this game with all the dlc's ? Im gonna guse. Buy a copy from a pawn shop. Then just buy xbox cards with your money then use that for the ESO Plus ( I heard ESO plus includes the other area's you can go to ) would this be a good idea ? Starting to crave this game :) I got that " new game " feeling. Iv never played it before.
Mournhold is a good one too. Cheap room, very close to the wayshrine. Double loading times are annoying though, so often I do rather look for a wayshrine near to where I am.
Chris H yeah whatever current bar you are on gets the xp. You don’t need to replace any of the skills on your slot. Just bar swap you you go to claim the reward then you bar swap back.
Kwstas Xatzhpetros not sure if you have Eso plus but if you do All the dlc including Elsweyr is free you would only have to by Greymoor, at least until the next expansion. But I know subs can be a hassle if money is tight. Just depends on how invested you are in the content. Might be worth it if your budget allows you to swing it
Warning!! Preventing attacking innocents, at least on Xbox, will prevent you from using a door too. I got caught stealing and tried to leave but I was already in combat and I wasn't able to do anything until I found a tiny little blind spot in the room to turn it back on temporarily.
From my understanding it’s when you activate a light attack between every spell and heavy attack to min-max your damage but also greatly increases your damage. I didn’t okay enough to master it but it’s a must learn.
Thank you for your guidance upon a lowly scrub such as myself but I must burden you again do you know what to do with necromancer it feels severely underwhelming dps wise and he can't take much hits so he's not a chonky tank

I'm adding another tip, you can use your home to fast travel for free. So buy all the 3000 gold room to travel all around tamriel easily

You can also set it to prevent accidental stealing.
I recommend that as well... Unless you're in the Thieves Guild.

Itz Genesis don’t EVER buy a Soul Gem. You can farm a ton of them from Dolmen farming.

One thing to add. In champion points, the % rounds down, so always go to just above the next whole number.

If that's true then that's total bullshit...what's the point in having a cp point go up in fractions if only whole numbers count? Is this confirmed anywhere officially from zenimax?
A number of people tested it long ago. If you have, say 13.99%, it rounds down to 13%. So always go just above the next whole number.

As a new player, still enjoying levelling my first toon, your videos have helped me a lot. You explain things very well. Liked and subscribed.
Need to add one quick thing: DON'T buy an inventory upgrade until you get the one in the level up reward. It will pay for the first one, but if you already brought one yourself, it WON'T give you an upgrade, even though it says it did. The same thing applies to the bank upgrades. You're only saving a few gold, but it's still worth knowing.
This game feels super cryptic to beginners. I still die all the time because the game doesn't tell you shit about its systems and mechanics. Thank you for these two videos. They help a lot.

One big tip I would give anyone is to buy as many houses as you can(not including the crown exclusive ones). Houses are free wayshrines and they're automatically available when you start a new toon. The staple homes are dirt cheap

Title is a little off. As eso Home page has guides that tell you all this as well, just have to look for it. In there beginning guides. You can pretty much find everything in there. But I think what you’re doing is great, as you explain it really good. Keep it up 😃
You can also Fast Travel to any home you own for free, but it does count towards a second fast travel if you are not at a Shrine.
On Soul Gems, they are cheaper if you buy them from a Mystic NPC merchant than a regular merchant.
I know another tip about the gear: that you can't repair staves. You need to charge them with soul gem - thats how you repair them. I figured it out somehow😆. Its true there is not much explanation in this game. Like me(I play totaly alone) I am champion 203 and I have never done writs😳still don't know what they are, where and what for they are really tbh - I just heard about them on yt🤣
And as for Summerset event😳It took me time to figure out the feathers/berries system🤦🏻♀️and the fact that you need to buy those as you can have with you only up to 12 tickets in total😳🤯🤣
you don't repair any weapon type in game, you recharge/refill whatever enchantment is on the weapon with soul gems
writs are daily crafting quests that you can do for rewards like materials and such related to crafting but they only become available once you get certified..it's been ages since I did it so I forget their names but its a dark elf man and wood elf woman in your starting zone and I believe main city in dlc zones...do their small side quests teaching you the basics to get certified
Danel telleno for the consumable access, and millineth for equipment writs, you find them in the starter zones of your alliance, oh and the guy in Summerset by the crafting area unlocks jewelry writs.
Join some social guilds and say hi in chat 😊 make some friends. The power of friendship makes this game easier and way more fun.

No mention of using housing as a fast/free means of teleportation and its effect on the cost of teleporting to wayshrines from anywhere there after.
I use housing for teleporting for free from the backend of dungeons.
Also bank space can be increased through housing using chests. One comes for free at level 18, giving an extra 30 storage slots, like bank slots.
If you do master writs, you can earn writ vouchers and purchase 3 more small chests and 4 more large, increasing your storage capacity by a whopping 360 slots, which is 150% more storage than the bank, without the ESO membership. So without membership, that's 600 storage slots and with membership 840.
One house comes for free through a quest.

I remember the first time I realized that my equipment needed to be repaired. I had been fighting Faolchu in the castle and died repeatedly with no chance of winning. After like the fifth time I saw the death tip that said I may need to repair my armor. It was all at 0! so once I had it all repaired I knocked him right out.

Another travel tip, if you have a house you can travel to it from anywhere for free, even with a character that's never been to that house. You can buy a house in a zone you've never been in and then travel to it and all characters on your account can use it.
About the champion points, originally only the first character that reached level 50 could earn champion points but that was later changed. I have 2 level 50's and they both earn points added together, however I don't know it that will apply to all level 50's on the same account.
Video talking about mages/fighters guild and outlying skill lines for leveling, but no mention that 1) fighter, mages and undaunted all level in specific ways that don't have to do with slotting abilities and 2) proc'ing quests in mages and fighters guilds depends on your level in the skill lines. Get those purple books, yall!

Fast travel to other plays _is_ free, but it _still triggers the pay-a-lot cooldown!_ If you try to travel to a wayshrine from anywhere except a wayshrine, it will cost you more for ten minutes.
And Ice Staff heavy attacks. The passive that kills (if you aren't a tank.. lol..).
I wish I knew that there is a max amount of quest you can accept at a time
I have been playing since 2015 and there are a few things I did not know... Nothing is more frustrating than the Psijic Order line. I'm now closing portals in the Bay of (don't remember the name) and Level 1 is still not available. Really frustrating
The Psijic Order Line quest has sent me to close the portals in Western(I think) Skyrim which I don't have on the map and now what? - I' stuck with this😕😭

Then just buy xbox cards with your money then use that for the ESO Plus ( I heard ESO plus includes the other area's you can go to ) would this be a good idea ? Delivering those writs at a drop-off point that spawns up to 3 (empty) soul gems that are not tagged as owned by someone also helps... ;)

Get a room next to wayshrine( Mara Kiss) - and then you hop to home and are next to wayshrine
Mournhold is a good one too. Cheap room, very close to the wayshrine. Double loading times are annoying though, so often I do rather look for a wayshrine near to where I am.

Do you really need the specific bar to be active to gain exp on those skills? I thought it was for any sloted skill.
Chris H yeah whatever current bar you are on gets the xp. You don’t need to replace any of the skills on your slot. Just bar swap you you go to claim the reward then you bar swap back.

Kwstas Xatzhpetros not sure if you have Eso plus but if you do All the dlc including Elsweyr is free you would only have to by Greymoor, at least until the next expansion.
But I know subs can be a hassle if money is tight. Just depends on how invested you are in the content. Might be worth it if your budget allows you to swing it

Warning!! Preventing attacking innocents, at least on Xbox, will prevent you from using a door too. I got caught stealing and tried to leave but I was already in combat and I wasn't able to do anything until I found a tiny little blind spot in the room to turn it back on temporarily.

From my understanding it’s when you activate a light attack between every spell and heavy attack to min-max your damage but also greatly increases your damage. I didn’t okay enough to master it but it’s a must learn.
