what's the point of having backlight when light doens't go through the key letters ?

I ordered this keyboard a couple of days ago, had the same question and looked on reddit. Apparently this is the way the keyboard neckbeards like it, thus the highest quality keycaps are typically not made with see-through letters. The RGB is there just for show in the standard configuration, but you can still buy a set of keycaps with transluscent letters if you want them for cheap.

haha I wish I could answer that! Mech keyboards are very subjective due to the noise they make to the feel of the switches. You need to find a solid board and then customise it to your liking. Keychrom and Nuphy make some of my favourite keyboards and I personally like a quiet board with thocky red switches. My personal board at the moment is the Nuphy Halo 75
