    Thank you so much for this comparison and review! It sounds like despite them saying that the red switches are lubed and quieter, they're still making more noise than I would want when typing at night.
    You've been amazingly thorough, detailed, and helpful!

      I don’t get quite so excited about influencers’ paid ad videos, as they “review” products in a vacuum with no comparisons and no negatives and hence provide no usable information. They are, after all, created to benefit the brand, not the viewer.

    this has been great. my brother actually let me test the difference between a red and brown, but I still was unsure what to pick because as was worried about the noise if i ever decided to take the keyboard into a work environment in the future. I think you convinced me to go for browns as I am used to that feeling from a razer keyboard i owned a while ago. However, out of curiosity do you think people in general, in a work enviroment, would get irritated with Keychron brown keys board? (oh and might get a k3 low profile, so i understand the sound might be a slight difference)

    brown might be better for typing/coding and wont annoy people or bigger recoil/harder to press (like blue).

      @@CoreyStaden for someone who uses both. is this close to your thought? brown to sure you press/better for typing, red for smooth press (but you might not sure if you press once or not or too many times.but easier to press so might be comfortable for situations where you need to press multiple keys too many hours like gaming)

    • @CoreyStaden
      @CoreyStaden  4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @berknoyan7594 Yes, reds are typically preferred for gaming. For speed and comfort.

      @@CoreyStaden thanks for fast response and content. people generally wont compare all 3 switches side by side or whats the main feel difference btw red and brown. they wont say their preference either. they say it depends. ofc it depends we just want to hear your opinion as someone who tries all switches. good work

    Reds are the best. Blues are also good, if you want it clicky and youre stimulated by the clicky sound. Browns are simply the same as a membrane keyboard. the spring resistance and tactility are close to actual brown kbs., just louder clicks. Reds are the smoothest, lightest and the most quiet of all 3. Everytime I'm buying new keebs or switches. I'll make sure it's reds or at least a linear switch. Every press just went straight to the bottom without any drama on the way.

    I mean, people were using typewriters commonly, as their primary typing machine, even until the early 1990s. And as late as 1980 almost no one used a computer as their primary typing machine. It really wasn't that long ago. So using 1920s music and an old film filter makes no sense, even as a joke. For god's sake, _Blade Runner_ was filmed when people were still primarily using typewriters for almost everything. I don't recall Ridley Scott filming something that looked like it came from 1915.

    Keychron is just hype. My K2 Ver 1 started to malfunction. In BT typing 3 will produce 34 or 43 . If I switch over to cable all keys from = to 9 will have 4 as prefix or suffix. Keyboard is out of warranty. Customer care initially showed some interest in listening. When I sent a few videos of keyboard malfunction, they too are silent.

    The red switch is nice and quiet. But it is way too SOFT. It’s very easy to accidentally press Shift, specially when you gaming.
