I doubled the recipe so I would have a little extra sauce and poured over white rice. Hands down a must try and thank you for the incredible gift. It was truly amazing.

I was so excited I made him order some Spanish Sweet Smoked Paprika and some Spanish Hot Smoked Paprika so I can make the dish you have that has shrimp, tomatoes, and those two spices in it. However, I wanted to try one of your recipes so badly that I went digging in my kitchen and I had the stuff to make this one (other than the expensive saffron, so I improvised and used two Sazon Goya con azafran packets that I had in my kitchen. I know that's not the real thing, but it was still very delicious. There were zero leftovers. I even had to give my husband the rest of my plate ;). So, so good! I'm so glad he found your channel. I can't wait to try more of your recipes. I served over Arborio rice b/c that's the roundest looking rice I had in my kitchen and it's delicious. I don't really know what round rice is. I look forward to learning more from you. We put this recipe in our family recipe book! Love, love, love it!

A while ago I was given quite a lot of saffron ..... and I really didn't know what to do with it. Then I found this video (and your many others) and felt inspired !! I have just made this for dinner ..... it turned out perfectly ..... easy and delicious. I dredged my shrimp in flour and sauted 'em in butter, instead of mixing them in I placed them on top. I liked it !! At one point I considered adding some cheese to the sauce ...... I didn't do it, but would be interested in your thoughts. Thanks

What temperature should be the shrimp be at right before they're removed from the frying pan initially? I get conflicting reports when searching online for what temperature they need to reach in order to be considered fully cooked & safe.
It produces a delicious combination of flavours, but, though I followed the recipe very precisely, the sauce turned out to be much thinner than I had expected - thinner than the sauce in the photos. So it wasn’t really a tapas dish. But, doubtless, I can make appropriate adjustments next time around, perhaps by reducing the quantities of wine and cream, but keeping the same amount of cornstarch.
Much as I love your recipes,you use a very expensive saffron a lot, even every day dishes.I understand you are promoting this golden saffron and are probably given it however as it is one of the most expensive ones do you have recommendations for the next level down that will suffice for many of your recipes? Not everyone can afford this saffron that you recommend. Also I was given a tip from a chef that as saffron takes a while to release its full flavour, steeping it overnight one can use half the amount stated in recipes to still get equal colour and flavour.
hmm ... saffron and cream isn't very flavorful both are dull to begin with. I cooked this and it looks nothing like the end product shown. It's not possible to make this dish correctly on the first or second try ... you're not gonna make this well and you're gonna spend more money and time trying to get it to taste well. Fair critique.
