Hi there! Can I just say big THANK YOU for playing relaxing MUSIC during your videos when you aren’t speaking! So many TH-cam channels play repetitive frantic music that makes me want to change channel or mute. Gardening is relaxing😍 your music is enjoyable. As it should be🎉 have a great day guys
I think that is Laura playing Piano
@@shirleenswartz496 yes I think you're right....she plays beautifully
I’ve wondered the same thing. Is that Laura playing?
I agree! I can’t stand some of the music other gardeners use, I have to turn the sound off. Especially in Instagram with the pop-music. Laura’s videos are always so peaceful during planting.
I’d love to see Bethany’s place with all her rescued things from your place☺
I think l can speak for everyone above the age of 50. Where were you 30 years ago? All the young & up and coming gardener's are SO fortunate to have you now, & TH-cam! God speed 🙏🏻 ❤❤❤❤❤
I think about that a lot! I’m 66 and 30 yrs ago I could have used her great advice 😊 I’ve learned so much and apply it to my gardens!
65 here and I use a lot of her tips.❤
And I get tired vicariously through her.😂
Amen to that! ❤🎉
I watch very little television now that gardenanswer is available to watch. I don’t know what I would do without you and your family. I watch every video. They are so entertaining and informative. Can’t wait for the next episode. Thank you so much!😊
The only constant in life is change! Let’s try to embrace new beginnings, no matter the discomfort.
Yes, yes and yes!!!
I was going to leave a similar comment, but you got it already!
Fabulous comment.
I can't wait to see what you guys decide to do when the tree comes out. I remember Jack Barnwell saying that his dad told him a long time ago that woodlands and gardens are like the sea...always changing. When a tree falls, something will take its place. I am sure it will be fun to see what you do with that area! And Samantha is the prettiest "Flower" in the garden!
Thank you for reminding me of Jack Barnwell. I’ve kind of fallen off gardening videos this season and last, other than GA. I had forgotten about him and Mackinac Island!
@micahruthie He does Florida in the off season now!

"Which one is your favorite, Samantha?"
Samantha: "all of them!" ❤
My 7 yr old daughter loves watching your videos with me every morning, and her favorite is when we get to see Benjamin and Samantha!
just like her mom. everything is her favorite
I loved the beautiful piano music. While watching and listening, I couldn’t help wondering if it was Laura’s own playing. Happy gardening everyone.
I hope you know how blessed you are to do what you love every day and with such abundance... and you are a blessing to us!!
Normally, I don’t pay so much attention to the music in the videos, but the piano in this video was so peaceful and relaxing to watch along with it.
The piano music, along with your beautiful garden and plants, is food for my soul!
I was thinking that exact same thing!
I just loved that portion with the piano music. It made me want to cry because of the peace and beauty along with the images it accompanied. Thank you ♥️♥️♥️
I am always so envious of those yellow columbines! They’re SO PRETTY with the birch tree🥰 those are the tallest columbine I’ve ever seen!
That flowerbed is going to be beautiful. If you can get a new big tree plopped there that would be great and less work for you.
I planted mine at the wrong spot it didn't survive, but the one I care less about survive, the packet said blue and white but the colour was more pink and white, am getting to like it though
Samantha is a darling little girl…growing up so fast! Your family is so wonderful & your home is gorgeous! May God continue to shine His light & love upon your life & homestead! Smile & Cheer vibes to you all! 😌keep well! 🙏🏻🫶👏🏻
I love your beautiful message!
Such a fantastic job of editing!! The music as Laura was planting the kitchen garden was perfect! Everything about this channel is done with such class. Thank you!! ❤❤
A twirl, a princess dress, piles of legos and beautiful flowers!! That sounds like a perfect day to me.❤❤
Greetings from Ireland, Great video and your gardens and planters are the bees knees. We live in a cottage in rural Ireland that we bought twenty years ago and have a small front flower garden with four flower beds, fifty two pots of perennials and six pots of annuals for the windowsills. My wife has no interest in gardening and she tells me the front garden looks like a mini garden centre. Out in the back garden there is no flower beds, there is a glasshouse, veg containers and a no dig veg bed at the bottom of the garden. The mature perennials in the pots need to be divided and I hope to do this next autumn and plant them into new no dig compost beds. I make my own compost in a three bay system and will have enough for the new beds and for mulching the front flower beds next February. The flower pots I have to divide are Agapanthus, Daylilies, Alstroemeiras, Hostas, Alpine flowers and salvias. I might also divide some flowers in the garden beds there is mature plants there like Sage nenorosa caradonas, Orvala, Geranium rozannes, Acanthus bears breechs, Astilbes, Brooks thistles, Crocosmias, Astrantias, Trollius chinensis, Campanuala, Coreopsis, Echinaceas, Gauras, Rudbeckias, Geums, Cape Fuchsias, shansta daiseys, and Achillea. Gardening for me is my church Its where I heal my hurts.
Oh no! So sorry about your tree. That's so hard to have to change everything out! I went through the same thing just recently! All of these changes will be beautiful! lol...disregarding instructions! That is funny and I completely agree! Samantha's dress is adorable and you can tell she is fully vibing the princess theme!
3:40 It’s hard to loose a tree you love, but as you say it brings other opportunities. When you did a tour of your parents gardens a few years back you mentioned as you walked through the porch sitting area that you and your family had coffee together and it was a very special time for you. You now have an opportunity to create a similar area for your family and have a small area for a kitchen garden. Just remembering how it sounded so precious to you that you had that time with your family almost daily.
Oh my! The plant combinations…the beautiful music accompanying Laura, and Samantha’s sweet comments made this the perfect video this morning! 🌺🪻🌼❤️
I love that area by the kitchen. The garden there is gorgeous and when sitting at your table in the corner it's relaxing to look at every morning. I wouldn't change it a bit.
Ahhhhh purple isn’t my favorite BUT pair it with yellow and it sings to my heart! ……… your passion for beauty and the world around you is SO refreshing! You’re such an inspiration, when I tell my husband I want to do something in the garden the first thing he says is “did you hear that from your Oregon Girl?”😂😂
As you drive down your drive it must warm your heart as you pass the gardens on either side - food for the soul!!
I've been enjoying the piano music accompanying your videos lately. Is it you playing? Either way, so relaxing and a beautiful pairing with the lovely plants and flowers. Thank you!
Is this you, Laura, playing the piano? It’s lovely! I truly enjoy seeing the beauty you create! Have a sweet day!!
You know, watching Laura 😮 plant the flowers, it seems more like she tucks them in so nicely
Dang it, so sorry that locust tree had to die !! That planting area was one of my favorites , but that is life full of changes ! So sweet that Princess Samantha made an appearance !! Laura you are the best at creating beautiful combos for your pots, they are beautiful, can't wait to see them mature !! Blessings to you, Aaron and kiddos !!!
Laura, I wish I had a third of your energy, I have to say after I watch your video's I usually go outside and do a little more in the yard. You give such good ideas. Samantha Grace is so sweet.
Serious question but why can’t you replant another large tree from Jaker (?) in the same spot as the dieing one? Love your channel!
might not be in the budget $$$$$
Good question - it sure would beat having to move everything!
A 15’ tree with a 10’ spread is not the same as a mature 45’ tree with a 40’ spread. She needs the shade for the understory plants immediately, not in ten years.
I seem to remember Laura and Aaron saying they couldn’t get the machinery (to plant a mature tree) in that spot because of the fireplace and other hard scape elements.
I had the same idea replacing the tree with another mature tree. I remember last year you'll planted several matured trees on your property. I'm wondering how they are currently doing.
HAPPY GARDENING!
They are all beautiful! Now, I want to go to the garden center AGAIN! As for your beautiful lamp post, have you looked for a solar light that has a solar panel at the end of a cord so you could hide the panel someplace that it would get sun. I have a string of fairy lights that have a pretty long cord to the panel. Samantha is such a princess!
There are Rechargeable Lightbulbs! Linda Vater showed some in a segment last year on her TH-cam channel. Not the least expensive, but practical.
I love the piano music! I don't mention when I don't like some music chosen. But definitely want to encourage more of this.
You make putting plants in containers look so easy. I can never get mine to just in nicely. Like I never get a deep enough hole. I think I focus too hard on that actually...lol. Anyway, I think your planters are gorgeous. My palette this year are whites, coral, some light and some dark purple. So cute seeing little Princess Samantha twirling in her pretty dress.
That 1st containers are very pretty. I love the purples and yellow in the 2nd pots - beautiful and cheerful. I absolutely love all the yellow columbine. Samantha looks very pretty and it was good to see Russel in the beginning of the video
Oh, that piano music at the beginning..it sounds so much like peaceful church music. My church's pianist plays music like that during quiet moments. So beautiful.
Love the plant choices. 💜
How fun to go plant shopping in your high tunnel !!!!❤
Love the relaxing piano music in today's video 🎹 thank you! Please add another tree and keep everything else as is, soo beautiful.
Makes my day every time I watch your videos Laura so enjoy each and every one. Thanks for sharing always learn a lot
I could watch your videos all day! I just find so much peace in these videos!
What I would give for access to flats of Proven Winners annuals!!! They are in short supply around here!! PW is so lucky to have Laura and her family to promote their plants!
They are the best plants. So healthy I don't buy any others.
So happy to have Garden Answer on my feed today. I'm a bit behind (a week about).. but today 5/30.. News has got me riled up. So happy to have a totally non-political respite of gardening to watch. I was out in mine yesterday and today as well.
I always enjoy your videos and especially your piano music choice around the 7-minute mark, lovely! This is my wind down at the end of the day 💛💜
Maybe a beautiful pergola that transitions to your eating area that looks like Tuscany ..with vines and water feature? Any thing you do will be wonderful!
This is absolutely a fantastic idea, you could widen planting areas. The pale green elderberry are so beautiful as base planting. Think pergola would be a huge winner Tuscan theme beauty, grape vine covered.
I love the combination of plants in your planters on the front porch. Thanks
Gorgeous combos and "Anna" is adorable!
How about a super geranium planting video ? all in one area? They do so well for me in Las Vegas and one of my tortoises just loves the flowers. You inspire me. I love watching your videos daily. ❤
WOW! That was a LOT of flower planting! The kitchen garden is going go be SO full of colorful flowers. Persian Shield is a full sun to part sun plant, so it should be fine in the sun. And ageratum is so underutilized in my opinion; it's such a gorgeous flower and really looks good planted in masses. The pots you did by the doors with the lime coleus and Persian Shield with that wonderful big leaf wire vine and pop of color from the begonias is truly the PERFECT flowering container. I really love that combination. And Samantha looked so sweet in her dress twirling around. Love it. But don't step on the Legos... been there, done that... OUCH! Cheers and thank you!!
A vegetable and herb garden AND extra seating would be a great idea.
Yes, last year's planting was EVERYTHING! I'm not a huge fan of yellow, but the yellow made it everything.
My gosh Laura, if I had you gardens at my place, I'd be spending all my days just walking through all of it all day long, AND in bare feet for some grounding.
💚 💜 Laura and Aaron for the oblique time stamp 4:35 I think it would look cool with snap 🫛 growing up them with them Lil white flowers!! Plus there sooo good to snack on when your in that sun! There the best when there pods still have juice from watering them and so crispy to!!
The piano music at 6:18 was wonderful. More please!
Play that beautiful music 🎹 and flower lady. We on TH-cam are blessed to have Garden Answer. Thank you! Shout-out from SW Georgia.😊
I Vote you make the kitchen garden area a protégé garden that includes entertaining space too. Maybe make it more like a secret garden that’s relaxing to have dinner and drinks and conversation. Maybe a pergola over the area to create shade with vining plants.
Samantha in her little dress with those braids-oh my word!! Absolute cute overload!! I agree with her too, all the flowers are beautiful!! 😊
I always love looking around at everything behind you when your walking and talking. Your garden is looking absolutely BEAUTIFUL!! Need a video of just peaceful music and a camera strolling through the garden like the drone or something.
I've been planting 30 containers the past 3 years with PW Supertunias, Superbenas Superbells etc., which I love. This year however the nurseries around me are at $.9.99 per plant. I just can't justify spending that much money. I did find 1 Supertunia color at my local Home Depot which were $6.98 so I snagged 4 of those for 1 planter.
Flower Garden beautiful.. 🥰🥰💐💐🌹🌹😁😁🌺🌷🌺🌺😘😘🥀🥀
Wooow! What a season!
Laura you always outdo yourself! This is amazing! 🥰
Love the Persian Shield. It will contrast nicely with everything 😊
Love how all the containers look. Can't wait til they fill them to the brim. I so enjoy watching your channel and seeing what you plant each season. Thank you for sharing. Have a blessed day everyone.
Your little sweet princess I have 2 granddaughter our little princesses too. Thanks for making gardening fun
You have raised such beautiful geraniums.Whatever you decide to do outside the kitchen in your garden will be beautiful .You will have time to figure it out.Thank you for sharing your garden and your plants.
All are gorgeous but the yellow & purple are outstanding. Keep us posted as the fill in. Thank you i get so many ideas from you.
Samantha looks adorable! She looks like a Disney Princess. 😊
Thank you thank you, I start my day off with you and you have reignited my love of gardening. a move to Florida set me back but I am adjusting and making it work. All things are beautiful in Gods garden!!
The bed at back door is gorgeous.
Purple and yellow…so pretty!
Love the music in this video! Sooo peaceful! Always learn so much from you Laura! I always feel like I'm your bestie and we are just chatting away!!❤
A lovely morning video with Laura! Thank you for the time you spend making these videos!❤❤❤
Was wondering if Bethany would give a tour of her gardens and spaces? Would love to see how she makes use of the things she repurposed so many items. ??
I just adore when Samantha came out and gave you a twirl in her Anna dress. You have really taken a liking to that saffron finch, more yellow than you usually do.
I absolutely adore the piano music. It is so, so soothing, you can't imagine...
Awe...... Samantha Grace looks absolutely precious in her costume dress!!!❤❤❤
I have to say your customer service is awesome! Thank you! I got my Greenstalk up last weekend after a series of errors on the dirt but got it sorted out. It's supposed to rain today, and I plan on planting today, so that's perfect! Everyone loves it! As much as I absolutely love pink, the green goes quite nicely in my yard.
I think when the tree comes out you should put in a fast growing tree so nothing has to be moved. I love this spot.
Good morning! Your pots are going to be gorgeous when the plants get bigger! To have access to all those plants is a blessing. I wish I had a few trees around my house but it’s a new development and no trees. Your choice of colors is my favorite.
Hi~ It takes time, as you know, to get new trees & other plants in after a move to a new housing development. More importantly, to keep them alive! You'll get there. You've got a jump on some by learning. Good luck.🙋
The piano music (then guitar) playing while you were planting is lovely!!❤❤
I love everything you do in your garden and I enjoying watching and learning. Samatha looked so cute in her dress I miss my Great granddaughter she moved from California to NC in Dec it’s been 6 months already. 😢
That has to be so hard, hugs sweetie 😊
Nice music during superbena sparkling amethyst planting! And thank you for all of your wonderful videos. I learn so much!
Music 👌🏼 love it lately
Can’t wait to see what comes with the kitchen garden. All good ideas
Samantha made the video so much better, she’s adorable 🥰
Perfect dress. Love these pots,
Samantha is such a delight, so sweet. And not to leave Benjamin out, he also is a delight, Mama's little helper, he seems to genuinely enjoy gardening. I love seeing them.
Oh so cute, Samantha the little Princess! So precious 🩷💞Beautiful flowers💕 Blessings!
Love the video. Columbine and yellow too, what a beautiful natural look under the birches! I have one comment that you’ll love. As you drove back to the front of the house you passed a row of beautiful purple irises, some that had flopped over the border and my brain said “ Stop and cut them for a vase for the house “! I don’t have enough in my yard and I always envy people who do. Plant envy ….its a thing! S. Jersey Shore Gardener 🌺
Whatever you do it’s gonna be beautiful……❤️💫🌸💫❤️
Oh to have access to a beautiful palette of colors and textures to make a stunning masterpiece!!! The centers in my area just can't compare..... they have the same ol' stuff, year after year....
Fruit trees and and vegetables plants for me and anything that brings in pollinators but so lovely
As usual, your plant combos are spot on, but in my opinion Samantha stole the show today!!!
Laura, buy a large cinnamon powder container and pour it around the tree every several weeks to see what happens. You have till November to see if it responds. I saved one of my oaks and a sour orange tree with this method.
Love seeing Samatha in her dress twirling around! Loves all colors of flowers smart girl ❤️👸🌷🌺🌸🌼🪻🌈
Samantha is the star of the show!! ❤❤❤ Beautiful flower groupings. Perfect music accompaniment.
Dear Laura, I love how you planted up the kitchen garden. I think the blending of all the colors is going to be spectacular. Of course, your containers are just magical. Hey, since you're thinking of removing the locust tree, before you do, maybe try doing a root injection with some SuperThrive to see if that can miraculously bring the tree to life. It might be worth a try. Thank you for sharing your amazing talent!
The piano music is so pretty!
Afternoon Everyone 💞💞
Cool her shoes match !!!! How cute 😊
That sparkling amethyst is pretty!
Laura when you take that honey locust out put in a three posted slatted pergola. This will provide filtered shade and allow you to keep your current plants alone with drawing interest. I'm visioning a triangle shape. Lots of possibilities .
I love the purple and yellow together!!❤
It looks so beautiful Laura ! 😊
I love all the geraniums you started but the pink and coral ones are my favorite. The pops of pink by the kitchen will be gorgeous with all the background greenery.
Love what you do, even envious. I have to remind myself I do not have the budget to do this kind of massive investment. Especially yearly. Thanks for sharing your ideas.
Good morning all have a safe and blessed day ❤️
