It's mostly true! Lol, I have worked at 2 different garden centers ( the first was when I was brand new married and had no money, tho😉), and it is trouble but in the best way possible!♡

We went there last April 18&19 2024. Celebrated my Husband’s birthday on April 17 and we arrived on that day in Ontario from Utah. I purchased a bird bath and some trees as gifts for my Husband. I asked Susan if we can leave it until we’re ready to go home to Utah, she said Yes without thinking twice. It was so nice of them and their workers are so helpful too about plants. I bought 6 pots of David Austin roses for me too❤️.

I've said it before--- Your parent's garden center is A M A Z I N G!!!! There is nothing close to comparing in my area. The variety of plants, both garden and houseplants, and the decorations etc are outstanding!!!! What a wonderful way to spend an afternoon/evening just strolling around in such beauty!!!!

My old knees, and my very old Shih Tzu, Sammy, cannot thank you enough for the GARDEN ANSWER KNEEPAD! It’s thicker and more comfortable than any other pad I’ve ever had. The best part is it’s big enough for me to kneel on one side and Sammy can lay on the other side next to me. She loves being close to me in her old age. We can’t thank y’all enough!
Oh your parent’s garden center is so beautiful ! I love going to the local nursery and looking at things growing and blooming. It’s so relaxing. Love you and your mom laughing and enjoying the tour.

A trip to Andrews Seed is on my bucket list. I told my husband it will be a road trip hauling a trailer from MN to take a few souvenirs home.😉 Plus my sister lives in Utah... fly to her home, then drive to Andrews for the wreath making class! Saving my dollars so I can make that happen!♡♡

It didn't even seem that long at all. Little Samantha, I love how she is such a free little spirit. Sooo cute. I love being in the garden center. I have a hard time not wanting to buy everything. You said it right to come down different times of the year. Soooooo true about seeing what plants, trees, shrubs, in what they do throughout the season. Truly magical. Hello Ladies - what a fun time for sure! I lost my Mom a year and a half ago now, and her neighbor had gifted me with money to purchase a rose in her honor, for my yard, as she came to live with me for her last 6 years. I chose ‘Teasing Georgia’ as yellow was her favorite color and it does not disappoint! It came bare root, it looked ify, I planted it, prayed over it and it grew quickly, reaching 4’ last year, it’s first season. It is already about that height now, I can’t wait for the flowers to flush out and its height to extend 💛 What’s not to love about the DA roses, they’re all so gorgeous! I also watched the video a second time with pen and paper in hand to write down the specimens I will begin to search for. You have quite the selection Susan, and your home redo is gorgeous! Enjoy 🌿
I am always amazed by the scope and depth of Andrews garden center. I somehow have the idea your region is not heavily populated, more rural/agricultural than urban. Clearly I am mistaken as the basic principles of supply and demand seemingly do not apply to a garden center this diverse in a low population zone! Kudos to your parents for growing such a lovely business. Thanks for the tour Laura, your enthusiasm is infectious 😊

When my daughter moved home to N.C. from Washington state, we drove across the country. We made a list of places to see, and Ontario Or. was our first stop. We went to Andrew's nursery, "your coffee shop," and over to Boise and had lunch at one of your favorites. It was so fun! Wish you were closer ! Your whole family are wonderful people !

I have to tell you, I just got my kneeling pad, and I am obsessed. I have these painful bumps on my knees, so I haven't been able to kneel on firm surfaces for years (even grass is too firm). Those pads are so supportive that I can use them on concrete and shift my weight and still not feel anything. Seriously they're fantastic. Gonna have to buy another 😂😂

You and your mom should both buy the same plants, find a corner where there are no plants in your gardens and then show us how you planted them in the gardens. It would be interesting to see how the plants look in a different garden.

As an experiment, you should dedicate some zone 7 plants in an area of your garden.
I love these videos down at the garden center. Besides enjoying the interaction between Laura and her mother, I always have a paper and pencil close by to write down the plants and trees I that I want to include in my garden. So wish I lived close enough to shop at this garden center! I think it is a great idea to do this type of video at the garden center for all four seasons. Thank you, Laura, Susan, and Andrews!
Ive learned so much from your channel. Now i get excited when I pass by a ant nursery. Your mom is the sweetest lady. I love your antique hauls. I thought i was the only crazy person at antique stores. My kids say I decorated my house to look old. I say "they are antiques, honey"

Question… I have a Lollipop Crabapple and wonder if it can be pruned similarly to a shrub in order to keep it tight and compact up top? I’ve had it in the ground for many years but have never pruned it so I’m nervous! I’m ready for another visit to your parents’ garden center! ❤

I have 25 of the variegated iris planted in my woodland garden! 10/10 recommend. Two years in and I have already divided most of the clumps!
This was so enjoyable to watch. I love seeing all the variety and especially the trees.
I have no idea if there is any place around me that sells - people more busy cutting them down sadly.
Tomorrow I’m going shopping though one of our big local nurseries is closing. The folks are retiring & I guess no one wants to take over.
