Take the quality issues out of the equation, and these are some of my all-time favorite figures. They look so good! I am a lifelong Simpsons fan, and the size and bright paint on these figures is everything I ever wanted. I am so sad the line is over, but I will forever cherish these figures with a prime piece of real estate in my collection.
What they should have done as far as the core family went, is pepper in the core family in the first 5 waves. I would have done regular Homer instead of Deep Space Homer. Regular Bart in favor of Bartman. Lisa instead of Ralph. Marge (with Maggie as an accessory) instead of Devil Flanders. It would have been that easy, but they went all deep cuts instead. This way would have kept the deep cuts but also would have given us the basic family designs too.
That is a shame Disney who now owns the Simpsons I.P. took the license away from S7. Idk maybe one day Disney will sell the license back to S7. If they want to make💰 that is. Disney has been hemorrhaging 💰 for years now. The Simpsons I.P. is still a huge I.P. It has to be, to still be on TV 36 or 37 years later.
Disney made $30.53 billion dollars in profit last year. An increase of over 8% on the year before. I'm sure they're shitting their pants that they let Super7 get away.
