Both of you two Johnny and Ralph are to be highly commended for humbly and willingly taking care of your families....I'm glad they were able to develop a genuinely unbreakable friendship !
They always kept things between them, but they began trying to tear Ralph down, they were actually revealing who they really were- nothing but bullies. Continue to do you Ralph.
From 2017 to late last year they tore him apart in interviews. This was a tactic to make him cave and come back like he usually does. Didn't work this time.
I love me some Ralph Tresvant he's such an humble Man and down to Earth and I met him to know this in January 2002 a good friend of mine called me and said guess who I'm hanging with and showing around Town and he said he told Ralph you have a fan you got to meet her and he took the time out too meet me and we talked for 30 mins and took a picture which I have framed!! I feel like he's not appreciated as much has he should be because he stuck it out with New Edition and contributed allot to their success and he's the sound of NE that the fans fell in love with like Johnny Gil said they hired him to take Ralph place because they knew he was a diamond in the rough and they was really scared of Ralph going solo because they feared his solo success wouldn't bring him back!! Love you Ralph you're missed I'm not going to a NE concert unless you're part of it!!

For some reason this interview and song pulls at my heartstrings. Ralph i don't think its selfish to put yourself first sometimes. Really grateful to see this interview, it was therapy for me as a fan, I was concerned that Rizz may have been adversely affected by all the chatter after that breakfast club interview with RBRM because he never said anything publicly, I know JG addressed it to a degree because he couldn’t tolerate the inaccuracies being spread which is what most of us would have done, but Rizz seems to have wanted to keep things quiet although he may have been suffering internally himself but like always he sacrificed for the group even at the expense of his own happiness. It seems he’s over that now but focused and remains in a good place with solid plans and that’s what is best FOR HIM which is what it should be, it would be cool to see NE on stage together but if that will eventually result in more setbacks for the guys individually then I’m good without it as well. Praying for everyone and thanks so much for this upload Redbone!

I'm so teaming Ralph... I Love and miss NE, but I'm with JG what's right is right!!!!! They touched on it in the movie... They are jealous of Ralph always has been. I can relate as a 50yr. old exactly where he's in life. I heard all my life" fool me once shame on you fool me twice s shame on me". I understand, the regrets. How he sacrificed for people that never looked out for his best entrance. They didn't then and still don't appreciate the unselfish decisions he made that forever change his life his success and to then bad mouth him is the ultimate betrayal. It's not bitterness it's growth. when you're repeating the same cycle over and over again and expecting a different outcome it's insanity. I'm happy for you Ralph, It's nothing worse than knowing you could be in a better position for yourself and family. yet everyone around is thriving and you're just getting by if that isn't enough motivation? I understand at this point It becomes everyone else's problem if they can't understand where he's coming from. I commend you Ralph on you!!!! Just No, that everyone has to and will pay for their transgressions. It's really sad to hear him say that he's not as wealthy as Johnny... SMH!!! As long as you're happy in life; is all that matter do what's best for you in your career... I wish You continued success, peace and Blessings!!!
@TJ You are so right, they have always been jealous of Ralph, and they still are. I see it with the side eye and little subtle things. I love NE as a group. Rizz is my fave!! I heard Ralph say BBD was BBD before they formed the group. They would be on tour and BBD would go out and would not ask him to go. He said he would call his friends from Boston, and they would fly out. I believe every word he said. People will use you for their benefit and don't care if you gain anything. I am so glad JG saw through the BS and what they were doing. I am glad to see Ralph and Johnny together!! Keep pushing Ralph, your true supporters are with you all the way!!
At that point, there was speculation that Ralph Tresvant was going to start a solo career in the vein of other 1980s lead singers who left their groups (a la Michael Jackson and The Jacksons or Lionel Richie and The Commodores), and New Edition wanted to continue performing. As stated in this interview, Tresvant told Michael Bivins, Ricky Bell and Ronnie DeVoe he was working on a solo album and even started not showing up at performances (including the 1986 NAACP Image Awards).
The reality is MCA had Tresvant singing practically all the lead vocals on the "New Edition" and "All for Love" albums to the point all the identity of New Edition was tied to him. So Johnny Gill was brought into the group in the event Tresvant would leave. Plus, if Gill is singing with New Edition on the "Hearbreak" album if Tresvant left, there wouldn't be as jarring of a transition for New Edition.
Gill and Tresvant somewhat are misrepresenting things in this interview. They're making it sound almost as if Bivins, DeVoe and Bell were going to vote Tresvant out or put him on the back burner as a secondary singer. Not to mention the irony of this situation is that Bell Biv DeVoe had greater solo success than Gill and especially Tresvant in their post-New Edition solo ventures.
He is only worth 10 million. Mike, the LEAST talented member of the group, is worth 20. LET THAT SINK IN. #self-sacrificeisforsuckers
@Reddbone Pryncess Lyons thank you for sharing this interview. I would like to clarify a few things for those who think that Ralph is bitter. Approximately 7-8 years ago Ralph was interviewed by Rob The N.E. Historian and the 9 part interview was posted on TH-cam,unfortunately he has taken it down but I listened to it in totality at least 10xs. It was truly enlightening and truly inspiring. What I learned from it was that for a very long time Ronnie,Ricky,and Mike were the catalyst for Bobby leaving and subsequently bullying Ralph. Ralph spoke about going to Bob and telling him if you don't want to leave as lead singer I'll speak on your behalf and you'll stay,Bob responded by saying no Rizz,I'll be ok which in turn gave birth to the "King of Stage" album. During Bobby's absence BBD felt compelled to harass Ralph to the point of him calling home to his mom in tears because he felt isolated. This is what led to him creating "Living In A Dream" which was never released. When Mike sought Johnny for the Heart Break album MCA made it clear that another N.E. album would not be made because Ralph was still the "Voice",so Mike's plan would not have come to fruition anyway and had to humble himself. As a matter of fact Bobby's whole style on the "Dont Be Cruel" album came from Ralph,which is why Ralph then took on the sensitive approach. I can totally understand why Ralph is now at the age of 50 tired of putting everyone first. That's not bitterness, that's exhaustion. Let me add that on the Breakfast Club interview BBD in on breath stated that the movie was factual,and that they sat down with the producers and writers to make it authentic,but in the next they say they don't know how true Ralph's storyline is as far as Maurice Starr offering him a solo gig. That's major shade,and I don't blame Ralph for not making amends. As much as I love New Edition, they have given us 40 years of great music and entertainment, so if this is the end,they owe us nothing else and I totally understand.

From my knowledge and what I see, NO it's NOT bitterness on Ralph's part.
I just spoke to someone the other day and my exact words were, "Ralph has to be exhausted with holding down grown azz kids, putting himself on the back burner to make sure everyone else is good while living in misery". Rizz is the type of personality that makes sure EVERYONE around him is good before him. I'm so happy he's FINALLY thinking of him first.
I've said multiple times..."I love NE but if they never get back together again, I'm fine with that. They have given us "them" since 1978/83 and is NOT obligated to give us anything else. Sadly, fans feel the guys are obligated to give because they want to see NE.... neglecting the thought/fact that these guys are human and have problems like any other person. Allow the fellas to get themselves together in whatever way needed and if the fellas come back together, fine.... if not, Appreciate and respect what they've given us and support whatever they present whether it's as a solo or a group.

Agree 1000%. Then recently Ronnie goes on The Breakfast Club and throws Ralph under the bus by saying he won't answer his calls. This caused the audience once again start calling Ralph bitter. He failed to mention WHY Ralph isn't answering their calls. Truth be told, If the people knew the reason they would all agree that Ralph is 1000% right in feeling the way he feels and then some!
Yes I remember that interview on TH-cam as well. It was Very enlightening. I wonder why the guy took it down. Maybe someone’s camp wanted it removed.
Ralph goes in so much detail into his story. He talks about everytime he was on stage and he was having his moment Bell DeVoe, and Bivins would hate on him. He also tells a story about how they treated him at the American Music Awards. And yeah Ralph actually giving Bobby his style that he created with 2 dancers that Bobby used for Don’t be Cruel. It was a great interview. That’s why I was kind of disappointment with the movie . But Of course the movie is a compromise of all of there stories consolidated. So everyone’s vantage point has to be merged into one story for it to makes sense. So it is up to the writers for which vantage point can to use to make the most impact for tv.

Ralph seems very vulnerable, yet transparent in this interview.
I'm a firm believer and have ALWAYS said he didn't have to prove himself. Rizz is ALWAYS the one to make everyone happy even during his pain. He kept quiet (I'm sure) for so long because as he stated, "N.E. is a group who doesn't share their dirty laundry". So I'm certain he was hurt when seeing or hearing other interviews...
But it was good for him to address his "truth" because so many folks were/ is pointing the finger at him or him and JG as to why the group isn't together
I think the energy around him, determines his mood. Like family members, who can bring the best and worst out of each no other. They know how rub each other the wrong way.
To who ever recorded this, thank you so much. I am a huge New Edition fan and Ralph is my mentor. I had the luxury of meeting him twice and getting to talk to him. Still have to meet J.G. I recently got to go see R.B.R.M. and did a meet and greet but it was nothing like this. We paid $275. a ticket to meet the rest of the fellas. They rush us in, they took a picture of us together with there camera ( they would not allow us to take a picture with our own cell phone) and that was it. As fans we deserve better than that. Wow, I really would love to know what the others said to piss Ralph off when all he did was look after his boys. SMH.
THANK YOU!! Say it again for the RBRM fans in the back. Ralph has done like 4 solo shows and after each one he has done a meet and greet for FREE!! Absolutely free. His meet and greets consist of a REAL smile,convo, kisses, and his famous squeeeeeze. No rushing. All free! He really loves his fans. He is not money hungry at all. There is video on Facebook and IG of his meet and greets. Completely different from what you experienced. You were able to use your own phone and even record your meeting with Ralph. I'm glad people are finally starting to realize that Ralph and Johnny's hearts are pure and they see their fans as fans and not just money. RBRM were successful in turning fans against Ralph, but people are finally realizing where the problem lies. For the record... BBD was asked to join the trademark and they declined until they thought it would benefit them.

I've heard alot about those M&Gs...I wont speak on it because I've NEVER been to their events. However, people I know who've been... they say the same thing.
But Ralph, I can definately speak on. He really makes time for his fans and so far has NOT gained financially but solely for the love of his fans. Very memorable experience with Rizz and JG is amazing also

I have always had mad love and respect for Ralph “Rizz” for his maturity and humbleness since (1983) growing up with him and the other NE fellas. (I’m just a couple years younger than them). But the way this tasteful interview displayed, I must applaud 🙌🏽Mr. Tresvant for his authenticity. He is the epitome of how we want our sons to model after. He showed such showmanship and has a heart of sweet purity, dignity, integrity and love. But did we expect anything less from Mr. Sensitivity? Lol He has just taken my respect to another level. I thought he was at top-level already. He is so well-rounded in the sense of style and morals. This is really what success is made of and all about. He has always been consistent on and off the stage. Because realistically at the end of the day, when the crowd dies down and the fame is quiet, we are all humans. I have love for ALL 6 NE brothers and like the others, I would love to see true and real togetherness rekindled. So until then, I pray against pride, pray for forgiveness and that grace be upon them. Now, in the meantime, let’s just enjoy what “Rizz” will be blessing his true fans with forthcoming. I’m ready. Also blessings to JG🙏🏾 and both their families. Love ya girl and keep sharing!

I've been a fan of Johnny Gill since his duet days w/ Stacey Lattisaw & a fan of New Edition since 1983!! This is the most authentic, mature, non-industry glitz interview ever!! It was so tasteful & I think Ralph handled the uncomfortable topics with such grace.
As much as us Day 1 NE4Lifer's want 2 c them reunite & tour, I think a lot us are mature enuff 2 accept that it may not ever happen & it's okay. U can't put a price on integrity & ur peace of mind. Something real foul had 2 happen 4 Ralph & Johnny 2 gain a new fan base from the New Edition Story on BET, leave 💵💵💵 on the table & not tour. We don't need 2 know the ugly truth. Ralph said enuff in which we "get it".
I wish there could be a launch party in the DMV for Johnny's Game Changer 2. This area is long overdue in honoring those in sports & entertainment who are from the DMV (The Braxton Family, Ginuine, Tank, Sugar Ray Leonard, Taraji P. Henson, Wale, Raheem DeVaughn & others). Johnny has expressed himself like a class act and has paired with other class acts. It’s ironic how Johnny was brought in to replace Ralph and now they’re thick as thieves! Ralph is closer to Johnny than the other guys, even though they grew up together!
Looks like Johnny has Bob's old "slot". It's like he replaced Bob twice... 1st as a group member, and secondly as Ralph's best friend.
Honestly, judging by the biopic and the numerous interviews I’ve heard, Johnny seemed like the only one who Ralph considers a real friend and with good reason.

Man ralph and johnny really have some great personalities! And funny too!!! I feel u ralph on liking to stay home and do NOTHING on ur off days cuz same here! Just these dam TAURUS for u....lol...i remember i curse acidently on inside the ride and they cut me off!!! Im absolutely N.E fan for life but ralph is my draft pick he is a very thoughtful person his music got me thru a very dark time in my life I was in a very abusive relationship I had turned my back on love Ralphs music let me know that All guys arent the same....sensativity changed my life im forever grateful and forever a fan
I loved the interview....
My only problem is.... the fans feel that the guys should put aside differences "for the fans" to enjoy a concert.
No one knows whatever the guys are going through and/or how it affect(ed) them. We should NEVER be so selfish to the point of over looking their pain and feelings for a tour of our "want". SMH

I agree! I also hated her delivery. Telling Ralph to " make it happen". That's no way to speak to a grown man. Some fans are wayyy too entitled. I wish them both the absolute best!!
I have to disagree as a fan they presented a brotherhood and we just hate that the brotherhood seems to be going through something and causing a separation. From the others perception Ralph is not talking to them not answering phone calls or text. If that's true Ralph has his reasons and I just hope they fix it.
Just listening to Ralph trying to navigate through the NE issues, you can see that he's still troubled by whatever shadiness that went down. I don't see NE getting back together for a while. Looks like Ralph will be back in the studio with Jam and Lewis working on his next project. Finally....Ralph is taking care of Ralph. What an authentic and raw interview.
Reddbone Pryncess Lyons, I totally agree!! I love NE but, at the end of the day all I care about is Ralph being happy. I'm happy with whatever he decides to do with the rest of his life. If it's with NE cool, if not with NE, still cool. People need to understand that when people have been going through stuff with other people for years, at some point it becomes toxic. We wouldn't stay in a toxic relationship, so why do people expect him too! He has to do what's right for him and his family.....I'm behind him with whatever he decides to do.
Of course we can't force the brothers to get back together, but ...fans make EVERY major artist. Period. Life's too short. We barely got that final A Tribe Called Quest album! #RIPPHIFE #NE4LIFE

Alot of folks feel it's about music and trademark. We know N.E has put differences to the side a number of times over the years. It's BUSINESS!!

Heck no, you'll forgive in your own time. No one can walk in these guys shoes or pain. And just because you forgive doesn't mean you'll be friends or in N.E's case... grace the same stage again.
I see comments about "money". It's not always about money. Some have morals and integrity and should NOT allow $ to compromise that. Just because NE can sell out arenas and the $ may be good, is it good enough to temporarily set aside an individual's feelings and pain?
They say money is the root to all evil.
We just need to Appreciate what they've given us the past 30+ year and support whether it's solo projects and/or as a group

I love love love Ralph. I was sad when I found out the other guys were touring without him. I have seen several NE concerts and I always enjoy myself. I support him not touring. I also want to say that I can forgive but I never forget. Sometimes it is healthier to distance yourself from people. As a Ralph fan I support his decisions.

I'm ok if they never get back together. The RBRM tour was cool and BBD is certainly fine alone. I'm off of the NE emotional roller coaster. It would be nice to catch a Ralph show. He has always been my favorite NE breakout act. I've never been a Johnny fan.

Monica Rance I was with you on the NE roller coaster. The tension was visible on stage whenever they have all been together. I am a NE fan but have loved Ralph since day one. I didn't go to the RBRM show because when I have seen them live Ralph always brings his BEST - I didn't get that every show from the others. As stated, i am a Raalph fan from day one so some think I am biased. My husband has gone to 2 shows with me and he saw how hard Ralph works to give everyone a super show. I haven't seen that from the others. Johnny's voice helped their sound grow up so for that I will always be thankful he joined the group.

The mean reason is I Love Ralph, Bobby can replace, can copy, can sing like Ralph. So nothing they do will make me want to see them unless they are reunited. Why I say Bobby can't do all of that because on the Home Again Tour Ralph was sick and Bobby step into Ralph shoes. He couldn't do the job then so I don't think he do it now. Ronnie Devo was laughing at Ralph on a radio interview along with his wife. I can't understand why the less talent person is getting all the media coverage. Lol I've always said I would be willing to try a cruise because my sister takes them all the time but I too have a huge fear of that much water but it is one of many things I want to do that's on my bucket list that I want to overcome . Don't know if I ever will though

Wow somethings forgiven and somethings will have to be forgiven through God . There was alot of Animosity between the guys and Ralph before Johnny.
I usually don't say anything bc i really don't like to assume too much or take sides but a lot of ppl keep saying that ralph needs to go back and make new edition happen again and honestly as much as I would like to see it happen I honestly don't think ralph really wants to deal with them anymore. You can almost hear it in his voice as he talks about everything he faced and honestly I can't say I blame him. Imagine being in a group with ppl who does nothing but go out of their way just to disrespect you and throw unnecessary shade and has done nothing but publicly shame you for years. And then with the breakfast club interview it seems like they were basically letting the 💩 starting rapist host boost them up to shade him for the whole interview and then on top of that they had a bunch of ppl writing a bunch of mean disrespectful and disgusting comments under mainly Ralph's Instagram and everything else and parsley johnny too. Johnny said himself that the guys weren't telling the entire truth and that the real truth would be devastating to the fans. I don't really even know the full details or if they're even true or not but if it is then while they're constantly trying to throw shots at ralph and johnny all day they should be thankful that ralph johnny or even somebody else haven't exposed them on whatever the real deeper issue is

If you've ever taken a business class, then should know that ownership is key. When you trademark your business name, no one can use it EVER. it belongs to you. Even after you're no longer here, it belongs to your family. The reason for the trademark is to protect yourself for future revenue. So if no one owns the name, anyone can use it. If you try to come claim it after someone else trademarked it, you lose in court.
When it comes to NEW EDITION, any member past or present can own the name. If none of them owns it; it leaves room for Billy, Jack, & Steve to get it and own it. But since Ralph & Johnny, two members of NEW EDITION, own it; Billy, Jack & Steve can't touch it. Regardless of the others being owers or not. Nobody can own the name. And since Ralph & Johnny own it, whenever the others do decide to add their name on it, they can. They don't have to spend years in court fighting Billy, Jack & Steve for a name they established as performers.
Johnny has even said that the others can still have ownership. That's why they're not tripping about the trademark. So for someone to blame someone else who has given 30 years of their life to a name and say they don't have a right to it because "they're not an original" is crazy. Johnny has every right to own the name like the others do. For the record, the others have stated that the trademark is not the problem. there are other issues within the group. NOT THE NAME or THE TRADEMARK.
To see people still pointing a finger at someone just because is ridiculous. These men do not need (fans) trying to force them to do something that they are not ready or willing to do right now. Just continue to support each member regardless. When they're ready, the fans will get the best of them. Not six people putting on an act for the sake of the fans. Just let them do things in their own time and way.

Well said. After listening to Ralph finally express his feelings on it, I can finally understand what's going on. NE may never get back together and I'm ok with that now. I just love that he's out here living his life. Tell him he never has to justify doing for himself when he knows what he's been doing for others. I don't even want to tell you how long it took me to let it go and show them love again. God warns of offending, letting us know that it will take time for the offended one to stop seeing it. Reddbone Pryncess Lyons Right. Forgiveness doesn’t always mean restoration. I don’t expect Ralph to put himself back into a toxic atmosphere with people who are perhaps unrepentant. Loved NE since ‘83 and would love to see them back together but not at the expense of Ralph putting himself back into a mentally and spiritually unhealthy situation. Hopefully, the end result will be that his brothers, through this separation, will examine themselves, see their error and make heartfelt, meaningful amends from which a starting place for reconciliation can be reached. However, until such time, each has to go on and care for their families as best they can.
As I recall #thr only they're allegedly being sued for wad the all six tour by a promoter who claimed they didn't finish the tour. But nothing about the trademark. I also do not recall Johnny saying anything about a lawsuit. Let's not speculate. Just support.

How Ralph and Johnny's concert doing? Sold out ? I think most people have moved on from wanting a reunion. Would have been great after the movie, but on to the next group.
I hate the fact that they haven't reconciled yet so it must been something that Ralph can't let go Because RBRM are ready to unite..... They have too many Hits to just throw that history away.
The people who have caused the hurt are ALWAYS ready to unite. They aren't the ones hurting. Different story for the one that has been hurt.
I thought it was something that was in the past, too. Then, I saw the other members in the Breakfast Club interview...the Jenny McCarthy interview...and several other interviews where they were just brutal to Ralph. I lost the desire for them to unite at any cost. I can't expect someone to put up with something that I wouldn't put up with.

Ronnie Devoe uncle Brooke payne came up with the name for the group, New Edition Johnny & Ralph that is wrong because the other four members should have ownership to New Edition name also Johnny Gill was not with the group when Brooke created the group name Johnny you was grown when you sign with them. what goes around comes around .
Then that's why we can see and now understand why the boys didn't make any money in their earlier years. Brooke (although he wasn't a manager) wasn't on it then to protect the name so we shouldn't have expected him nor the "business savvy" Michael Bivins to step and PROTECT the name and logo of New Edition now.
Everyone is bitter about the Trademark. I'm certain it's bigger and other issues the guys are dealing with that DOESN'T concern the fans then this trademark.
The guys 1st album dropped 1983 (Candy Girl)...JG came into the group 4yrs later 1987... Stop making it sound as if he was damn near a grandpa when he entered the group.
Put all of that UNNECESSARY hatred and animosity to the side and respect and appreciate that they were SMART enough to trademark the name.
New Edition lost enough as it is and if they didn't trademark.... it was open for ANYONE (you, me, Tom, John and Harry) to walk in of the street trademark it... and the reality would've been pissed.
Ralph and JG are NOT profiting off of the trademark but instead keeping it intact from being tarnished from looking like a circus act until they all decide to form together and entertain again under the New Edition umbrella.
If yaw are true fan... Act as such and SUPPORT all of the fellas whether as solo artist are a group
Johnny said they offered the others ownership, but with the condition "that no one could use the name of the group individually, but it could only be used collectively."
I feel like Ralph can't see the bigger picture. The movie set them up to be huge, they should have had an album and tour ready to drop right after the movie. The tour would have sold out and it would have put him in a better position to solo work afterwards....or he could have had a solo album ready to drop after the movie too. I feel like they missed out on so many opportunities after the movie dropped because Ralph was in his feelings. He could have done the big tour after the movie, made a load of money and then bounced on NE and did his own thing.
Maybe they should have made amends to Ralph for whatever it was that they wronged him in, to "clear the air" FIRST so that they could all work together (in a healthy and mutually efficient manner). This is the missing link to the puzzle. You can't have one without the other.

I think you are looking in the wrong direction on this one. The same week that the New Edition story came out, BBD dropped their album and announced their tour. Hell of a stupid move IMHO. They sacrificed the momentum. Don't remember this? ......Exactly.
I feel that they could make a killing from NE memorabilia alone, without touring. T-shirts with all the different branches and stages of NE, from 5 to 4 to 5 to 6 members. That ship has not sailed. The kids In work with, perform a lot of NE stuff, and they've ended up making their own stuff. That way, they all (especially Ralph) has a nice cushion.
I hear what there saying but, it still doesn't explain why their messing up the groups money. Johnny comes off as somewhat difficult to deal with and possibly could be argumentative.
Neither of these guys are the reason for the delay. Johnny left a detailed letter on IG. Go read it and get a better understanding of the situation. Have a blessed morning.

I believe that may be central to the issues they having. that being said though, it seems by his own testimony that Ralph has been the one most affected by this because of lack of financial security. Using this New platform provided by the NE Resurgence would be a great way for Ralph to right the wrongs and missed opportunities from his past and really get credit he deserves as the voice of the Legendary New Edition i.e. Mick Jagger (Rolling Stones) Michael Jackson( Jackson 5). Now is the time!

In my personal opinion, I believe Johnny is the number 1 reason why there has not been NE Reunion. How can the last member brought in be the owner of the the name?!? He's not even an original member but feels because he and Ralph bought the name of NE , they should get payed more?!? That's not right. Period.
Johnny has only owned the NE for a few year. If the others, especially the "so called" business man, Mike Bivens, had ANY "business sense" at all, he would have secured the New Edition name in the 80s or 90s. He didn't. None of them did. So don't blame Johnny. My guess is, the other 3 could never keep enough money in their hands to pay to get anything in their name

Ralph and Johnny have been more responsible with their money. Also There are some promoters who will NOT even deal with Mike Bivens because he has been so shady in the past. That is the main reason why they are so pissed off at Ralph, because Ralph IS the responsible one,as seen in the movie and he wants nothing to do with them, right now. But, I think Ralph has just had enough. He is 50 now, and I think he has had enough of carrying the load and getting the least credit.

Why is it so complicated whenever Ralph wants to do a solo project? Every other member, with one exception, had a solo project in the last year. Let him do him. Stop manufacturing extra drama.
Ralph has been getting out of his feelings for years. That's why we can still go see NE.... One thing for sure and two things for certain, They can't tour, as NE w/o him. As much as I honor and respect Ralph, I feel like he always throws the other guys (bbd) under the bus. From the bet tension interview to njs4life to this. And, Johnny foul for feeding into this situation instead of helping resolve it. Ralph goes on a hate campaign every chance he gets. It’s disappointing.
Ronnie just did an interview talking about how Ralph didn't answer his calls. Ricky did 5 interviews calling Ralph a liar and saying that he didn't believe Maurice Starr offered Ralph a deal. Don't talk about throwing anyone under the bus. RBRM should be thanking their lucky stars that neither Ralph nor Johnny has exposed the truth. These men are class acts. They never once called any of the guys out. Can't say the same for the other 4. I was embarrassed watching their antics on social media.
