Bobby got kicked out of the group, so Bobby had to work - the opportunity presented itself, unlike Ralph who was busy with NE, Bobby was available and talented enough to carry his solo album, and he did great.
Ms. Carpenter first and foremost is a very good interviewer. She should be on a TV show. She listens, waits for the answer to be completed. Thats how u do interviews. Great job. Ralph comes off like a chill brotha. I respect him as a man and as a artist.

Robert aka ROBNEHISTORIAN once told me he have a few of the songs from that "Living In a Dream" album... And he emailed Ralph, himself, the songs he had. The only song I know of is, My Innocence
In the New Edition biopic, in the end of tour party scene - Ralph shows his disappointment and anger at having to shelf his album due to the success of Bobby Browns ‘Don’t be Cruel’ - he alludes that Bobby had done everything on that project that he was planning to do on his ‘Living in the Dream’ so would have to scrap it and start a new project from scratch
Ralph talks about a scrapped album....but there are no demos out there. Ralph Tresvant is a dope talent, but I believe he's most comfortable and at his best on stage when he's with the rest of the group. Also as Ralph got older, his voice has proved to not be able to do as well on its own like Bobby Brown's voice (when Bobby was in his prime). Some folks do very well as a solo artist. I don't think Ralph would have been as successful. I can't ride with his claims that he would have had that breakthrough album that Bobby, MJ, Beyonce, Diana Ross, etc., had.

Michael Jackson and Ralph are my favorite artist. I almost had a chance to meet him in Indianapolis but my phone was dead my wife was calling me to come downstairs to meet him before he left. I didn’t get to meet him but I took a pic with Johnny and my wife took a pic with Ralph.

The Every Little Step thing finally gets addressed so people can stop saying Ralph sung the song. Steven Machat is the one who started that rumor, but if NE had the song first I can see why Steven may have though Ralph was singing the song for Bobby. I remember when Ralph spoke to ROBNEHISTORIAN he talked about how he and Bobby would talk about merging hip hop with the music they wanted to make outside of New Edition. We see it briefly in the BET series. The few times King of Stage is referenced Ralph is there. So Bobby basically did with Don't Be Cruel what Ralph was going to do before Heartbreak.

That answered my question if possibly they do a follow up to the mini seriesvand continue it with the following years after that 96 homecoming album and tour drama that went sour , I wondered and wanted to see a big curiosity about the whole deal with their last album that was released in 2007 titled One Luv and its puzzling what Kade them do that and some of the touring travel promotion for album and do it officially without Bobby brown, it popped up on TH-cam just rare promotional touring and performing concert events as New edition without Bobby being there, it was practically johnny gill as the 5th guy on the stage with them doing this album, just like it was when they moved forward without Bobby and added johnny back during the late 80s when they were coming close to their absence of lettin Bobby go solo Era, and one love certainly needs to be talked about and addressed really what the whole story b8s about that reunion album without Bobby and more so evident during the intro they introduce themselves by name call and Bobby is so evidently not included. I want to see the mini series tell that part of whole thing that went on behind the scenes of that 2007 one love album that hardly anyone talks about or Is even mentioned in interviews by the members themselves just as if they forgotten about it and people still over talk bout the homecoming hit album that officially reunited all 6 members including Bobby brown which was and still is a hold well done album that certainly marked a newer grown up mature album in the next chapter to the groups history

Yes, it's always funny seeing sensitive smart marshmallow Ralph try to act hood. He did grow up in a rough neighbourhood, but it didn't make him macho (and that's a good thing!) He shouldn't have to front, he's wonderful as his true self.

They're DEFINITELY two different sounding versions to that Bobby Brown song "every lil step"! One is clearly all Bobby Brown! The other version is surely Ralph's vocals being song over!! In particular the first verse.

The Every Little Step thing finally gets addressed so people can stop saying Ralph sung the song. Steven Machat is the one who started that rumor, but if NE had the song first I can see why Steven may have though Ralph was singing the song for Bobby.
I remember when Ralph spoke to ROBNEHISTORIAN he talked about how he and Bobby would talk about merging hip hop with the music they wanted to make outside of New Edition. We see it briefly in the BET series. The few times King of Stage is referenced Ralph is there. So Bobby basically did with Don't Be Cruel what Ralph was going to do before Heartbreak.

That answered my question if possibly they do a follow up to the mini seriesvand continue it with the following years after that 96 homecoming album and tour drama that went sour , I wondered and wanted to see a big curiosity about the whole deal with their last album that was released in 2007 titled One Luv and its puzzling what Kade them do that and some of the touring travel promotion for album and do it officially without Bobby brown, it popped up on TH-cam just rare promotional touring and performing concert events as New edition without Bobby being there, it was practically johnny gill as the 5th guy on the stage with them doing this album, just like it was when they moved forward without Bobby and added johnny back during the late 80s when they were coming close to their absence of lettin Bobby go solo Era, and one love certainly needs to be talked about and addressed really what the whole story b8s about that reunion album without Bobby and more so evident during the intro they introduce themselves by name call and Bobby is so evidently not included. I want to see the mini series tell that part of whole thing that went on behind the scenes of that 2007 one love album that hardly anyone talks about or Is even mentioned in interviews by the members themselves just as if they forgotten about it and people still over talk bout the homecoming hit album that officially reunited all 6 members including Bobby brown which was and still is a hold well done album that certainly marked a newer grown up mature album in the next chapter to the groups history
