Warli are not aboriginal. They are of same race, speak same language are same religion as us native Mumbaikars. Kunal’s community is also native to Mumbai. Eg Johar is not exclusive Adivasi word. It is used to worship Gods in Marathi. 4:02

Being residence of gokuldham we spent our childhood around greens of aarey be it flim city, chota kashmir, no 2 tribal colony, powai or stretches of national park. Bunking school and eloping with friends into wildlife of city forest is joyful flashback and among the finest memories of life.

Nice way to greet by saying Johar. Typical tribal culture. Long long ago there was Marathi film Johar Maibaap. May be connected to this I don't know. Indeed it's a pleasure to watch this. In to the lap of nature spending a day with such a wonderful people of Varli community. They are really an artist. Enjoy village feel in Mumbai area which is rare to find now a days.

    Dear Kunal,
You are a jolly good fellow, who enriches the appetite of those who eat along with you & you make them laugh & enjoy the Food.
The Jungle food of the wild animals is raw & fleshy.
I wonder whether , you can even give the spicy food taste to the Wild Life & make them Laugh too.
After all Laughter is the Best Medicine..

Don't do that lots of Mumbaikars are not aware actually they have no time from their busy and fast life to explore nearby places. One way it is good also they don't come into contact with tribal community as too much closeness will diminish their tribal identity.

Lovely episode, Kunal. But I would rather not commercialise it. The warli community is well known for it's drawings and maybe for spicy food as well. I didn't know that they are staying right among us in Bombay. But it will be better to leave them in peace. Advertising them will draw the large crowds and will change the whole geography. Take Gorai as an example.
